Camileo H20 - Sounds like a disc inside

Hi
can anybody help please?
my fairly new camileo h20 wont function and I can hear what sounds like a disc inside of it clicking during charging.
It stopped working during filming of a very special moment, so not too happy about that. Even less happy about the fact that we cant find the receipt, and also a bit peeved that I cannt view a troubleshooting section as the full manual is on a disc.
My pc wont play discs (yep, you've guessed it a toshiba...).
If somebody could please take a look at the manual and make some suggestions, i would be very grateful.
thanks

Hello
Users manuals for your camera you can find under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_manuals.jsp?service=EU&banner_id=DISCONTI NUED_DOWNLOAD_ARCHIVE
Download it and look inside if you can find something interesting there.
Unfortunately I don't have this cam and I cannot help you with this but you can contact nearest authorized Toshiba service provider and ask for help. Make a call, explain the situation and hopefully they will be able to help you.

  • Camileo H20 Sound Probs

I bought the Camileo H20 camcorder last year, took it on holiday,When i returned i set about making video on my P.C. I used a good quality 8GIG mem card and the quality of the recordings were superb exept for the sound,(ie a flutering noise) which overpowered the audio.
I have tried the same files on Pinnacle studio 14....vagas 9 and coral video but get the same results.using scene select i find a lot of the scenes are ok.i thought at first it was wind noise on the mic but this has been eliminated.
    can anyone help please

Hi Mike30, sorry its been a while since your reply.the camileo H20 is still faulty on sound.like i said the picture quality is superb but the sound is useless. I enquired at the shop where i puchased it but all i got from the salesman was you might as well bin it because it was out of warrenty.OK back to the fault.using scene detection on vagas 10 and pinnacle 14,some clips the sound is fine ie no background niose at all but the next scene the niose starts again,at first i thought it was wind noise on the mike but its the same indoors so thats out.I have been using a panasonic digital camcorder for a number of years now and thought i was going one better with hi def as we love our holliday vdeos but alas it hasnt happend.

  • I hear a sound like clock pendulum inside my mac pro, not a time related, everything else looks great, could anybody help please?

Hi all, i am hearing a sound inside my Mac Pro over 2 months before, on both power and battery, not a time specific, i hear a "tictac" sound like Wall Clock Pendulum, beneath the keyboard, i can feel it my hand while typing, it is very clear, could anybody of help please?

Start your MBP with the StartupManager:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1310
You should see two HDD icons.  Select the recovery partition (on the right).
From the 4 option menu select Disk Utility,
Select Disk Utility>First Aid, and run Verify and then Repair.
This should tell you if there are any issues with the HDD.
Do backup your data if you value it.
    Ciao.

  • Making sound sounds like coming from inside

    Hi there,
I am trying to make a sound recorded inside sound like it is heard from outside (in the street). Any suggestion about a good filter?
    Thanks,
    JCD

You might just try adding some 'street sounds' as audio background. You can acquire sound effects libraries for this or simply take your camera/recorder outside and turn it on...monitoring with headphones for optimum sound. A good mic doens't hurt.
If you have 'roomy' sounding audio...reverb/echo, they'll be a challenge to filter out...hopefully the 'street sounds' will help cover this.

  • Everytime my phone vibrates it makes this loud noise from inside that sounds like a weird cracking noise or something help!!

Okay so I noticed a week or two ago that there was something lose on the inside of my iPhone 5s and ever since then when my phone vibrates sometimes there is this weird noise. It sounds almost like a cracking noise from the inside or a weird electrical noise. I think something is wrong with the vibrating part. Does anyone know if this is fixable or what it is?

Definitlely have it looked at. That could be a hardware deffect on the maker(apple) so there could be a definite replacement option.

    Do you have current backups?
Those symptoms could indicate a failing Hard drive. If it dies, all your documents go with it unless you have Backups.
I have had very good luck with physical and battery problem diagnosis at the Genius Bar. Those guys put their hands (and their ears) to these machines, all day every day, and they know immediately what all those sounds mean.

  • How come when I tap the back of my iPhone next to the camera, it sounds like there is a lose piece in inside?

I just got my iPhone so i can't imagine there is anything wrong, but I noticed that when I tap the back of my iPhone next to the camera, it sounds like there is a lose piece in inside. Also, when I put the iPhone down on a desk or table i hear the same sound. Wondering if this is normal?

    Hi JRM833,
That would be enough to make me worry as well. I've not seen (or heard, in this case) that happen on any of my iPhones, or any others that I've been around (friends, family, etc.).
I would say that no, that isn't normal. If you're near one, take it to an Apple store. Or, if you made your purchase at the wireless carrier you've chosen, take it back to them to see if they could help you out.
    Best of luck.

  • My iPhone 5 have sounds like something inside are moving when I shaking it. Friends got replace a new iPhone at NZ, how about AU?

When I shake my iPhone or walking with it, I can hear that the iPhone are sounds like something or parts inside the phone are moving, or maybe not on the fixed position at all.
I did the research on Internet, and meet a friend in NZ who had same problem at there, then apple replace a new iPhone 5to him during the sounds.
How can I know my iPhone 5 are broken or just normal?

    1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
    2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
    3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.
above works for purchases from the iTunes store. for everything else, check out this post by Zevoneer.

  • Making a sound recorded inside sound like it is heard from outside

    Hi there,
I am trying to make a sound recorded inside sound like it is heard from outside (in the street). Any suggestion about a good filter?
    Thanks,
    JCD

    - I hope the inside recording didn't have too much reverberation or 'room tone' (imagine recording it in a washroom). The indoors sound needs to be flat (no echo from walls, no background sound)
    - Reverb puts dead sound into a space with walls. You can add reverb, but you can't take it away. If your character is on a football pitch but you record the dialog in a washroom, it's not going to work. If your scene is in the Louvre, and your talent is recorded in a voice-over booth (or in a car or in the bedroom surrounded by blankets - hey it works), you can add the reverb.
    - Cut out a lot of the bass frequencies. Nice clean indoor sound has too much of it. The Big Outdoors lacks the reflectors that makes for big boomy sound (remember, big sound can 'sit on the shoulder' of the viewer)
    - Add location sound, so if your visual location is windswept moors, then lots of wind noise on the mic. If it's city, then lots of traffic hum, tyre noise, sudden car horns and stuff. Take your VO and pull out the bass, and you're 'there'.
    - Match camera perspective to voice perspective. If you did a close mic in a quiet room my guess is that the talent spoke softly and in a measured fashion, so your outdoor shots must be similar OR strikingly different (as if we're seeing into their mind).
    - If you need talent to deliver outdoor lines in voice-over (quiet room) for a frenetic environment, mic them up 'distant' and get them to speak loudly. Position yourself (the interviewer) a long way away from the interviewee. Mic them up with a Lav, but make out you're using on-camera mics, so they have to speak up.
    - If you're doing foley with amateurs, get them to replay the part with a radio lav (they think it's backup, it's your main) and put the biggest mic you can find as the main mic. Sometimes people need something to act to, and a lav does not cut it.

  • My ipod speaker is sounding like there is something inside of it vibrating when i play any music through it. what do i do

the other day i droped my ipod in the snow and now the speakers sound like there is water inside of it. I don't know what to do and i would really like this to be fixed. i have no idea how much it will cost to get it fixed!

Place the iPod in a sealed container with uncooked rice for a but a week and periodically change the rice. The will remove the water/moisture.
    If still problem
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

  • When burning a disc in iTunes, it sounds like a gas-powered blower.

I for the first time tonight put in a CD-R to burn a CD, and the drive sounds like a gas-powered blower is going. It is really loud to begin with, and then for the remainder of the process, it is a steady noise, loud and obnoxious. Neither my Powerbook or my Core Duo sounded like this. It is terrible. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, have you talked to Apple yet? I will be calling them soon for a bunch of issues, I just do not have the time to send it in right now, so I have to wait. Just seeing what you guys and girls have already said to them about it. Thanks!

Only happens with CD's for me. DVD (burning or reading) are nice an quiet. CD's are loud and there's a vibration component there as well. I'm taking it in as soon as business slows down some.

  • Sounds like a film projector

We recently started hearing a sound like a film projector eminating from one of our dual G5s. I have removed or stopped every fan that I can see (6 total, I believe: 2 in front for the CPU, 1 above it attached to the speaker, 1 behind the DVD drive, and 2 in back). I even disconnected the hard drive and the sound persists. There is not a disc in the DVD drive and the sound continues whether the DVD drive is opened or closed. It sounds as if it's coming from low inside the case, but it's hard to pinpoint.
I have not yet checked to see if there is something loose somewhere simply vibrating, but it doesn't really sound like that. It sounds just like a film projector.
    Any thoughts?
    Dual G5 2 GHz   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

Well - there are a total of nine fans in the DP2 - one more at 90deg. to the others behind the hard drives and two at the front of the power supply, low down behind the silver perforated grille, running at a constant speed. If you shine a torch in the front of the grille you can see them. If the sound is regular and unchanging it may be one of these.
