Campaign Determination

Hello All,
   We are configuring campaigns in Webshop. CRM 2007 with ECC 6.0. I have some of the questions as mentioned below. I would really appreciate if you guys could help me out.
1. If the entry of campaign codes on the Sales Orders/Webshop Order is Manual, DO we STILL Need to configure Campaign   Determination?
2.  Does the condition types of type PR(pricing) need to have condition tables that has Campaign GUID field in them?If So does campagn GUId field needs to be the key?
3.  What is the best Practice of creation campaign Determinations conditioj records. is it from ECC-CRM or from CRM-ECC?
4.  If the condition records are to be created in ECC-CRM, then in Campaigns what is the discount tab for?
5.  Where is the connection that says given a Campaign, execute this pricing?
6. preferable 1 small example with both PR and CD, how they work together, would be really helpful.

    Hi,
    We have CRM4.0.
    Can you confirm me if I create a campaign in CRM with planned dates without condition records when I create a sales order in R/3 that campaign is determined automatically? Or the R/3 only works with pricing/condition campaigns?

    After some hard work finally the answer is clear. It is possible to have campaign determination in R3 sales order for an marketing trade promotion (without customer or pricing conditions).
    As an example if there is a trade promotion for indoors(publicity) and no pricing discount or free goods, you can have this campaign determined in correspondent sales orders.
    Indeed it is necessary to used conditions technique but not pricing condition in CRM trade/spends tab.

  • " Campaign determination " error in Trade Promotions

    I am working on the Trade Promotion functionality on a Target Group . The conditions are getting generated and appearing in the discounts tab. Also the target group is picking up only the relevant BPs and showing them in the Volume/Trade Spend Tab but while releasing the Trade Promotion,I am receiving n error . "Campaign Determination records cant be generated "and "enter a hierachy business partner" . Since the Trade promotions on the BP hierarchy are being realased without errors , I am wondering ,is there any particular configration which needs to be done in specific for the Target Group as customer . Could anybody please help me in this regard?

  • Query on CRM Campaign Determination in ECC

    Hi Friends,
    Can anyone help me with a doubt on campaign determination in ECC?
    My query is 'what happens during campaign determination in SAP ECC Sales Orders, if we have multiple CRM campaigns hits for the same access sequence?".  Does the system give a pop-up and allow the user to select one of them? Or is there any other way the system deals with this?
    Any inputs are highly appreciated. Kindly help.

  • CRM Campaign determination on R/3 sequence access

    Hi all,
       into my CRM system, I use Trade Promotion object. The access sequence are present into R/3 system:
    SPRO > Integration with Other SAP Components > Customer Relationship Management > Basic Functions > Campaign Determination > Maintain Access Sequences.
    Into Accesses folder, is present a 'Requirement' column, but, How can I use VOFM transaction for create a new requirement? This transaction is correct?

    After some hard work finally the answer is clear. It is possible to have campaign determination in R3 sales order for an marketing trade promotion (without customer or pricing conditions).

  • Campaign Determination in ECC sales Orders

    Hi Experts,
    I'm able to configure the campaign determination correctly and is working fine for single customer and product. Now my requirment is that I need to configure for a group of customers. So in that case I will create a target group. But when I check the ECC system to see if there is a field "Target Group" availabe in the Condition table maintenance it does not exist. So can any one help me how to configure this situation.

    you might want to review http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/EN/46/01a0078aa1703fe10000000a155369/content.htm. In Ecc field catalogue for campaign determination there is the field TARGET_GROUP_ID available, which you can use to setup your condition table.

    I´m customizing Campaign Determination, then When I try to create a new condition type to the usage: CD (Campaign Deter.) system don´t let me select that option, always show me PR usage as default, Could someone tell was wrong???

    Prakash, very helpful your link, now let me explain you what is my request: I need to check when a product is being used in other campaign/plan when a Camp/Plan is created (error or warning)???
    Someone told me, I can use Campaign determination for it under below path:
    In the CRM IMG follow the path > CRM> Marketing-> Marketing Planning and Campaign Management -> Condition Maintenance -> Define Condition Generation, using 02 as selection in "Conflit resolution value"
    But my problem is why I can not create CD Condition Type
    in CRM?
    Please, tell me if there is another solution

    we have a market requirement wherein they want campaign determination to happen retroactively during billing.
    the scenario is this:
    1. order to goods issue is created
    2. crm conditions are created
    3. bill the order, taking into consideration the new crm conditions

    Not sure if you have got this issue resolved.
    You may want to check SAP Note 856313 (Campaign determination in the billing document), there is no campaign redetermination in billing, and that campaign determination should have been done in the sales order in the first place. Only the existing valid conditions in the sales order are passed to the billing document and not possible to re-determine campaign, so basically the sales order would have to be updated first.
    The SAP note contains a workaround which executes a campaign determination when you create a billing document, via the following user exits:
    Modify the billing user-exit (RV60AFZC) to set a campaign determination flag for pricing type and pre-defined free issue document type and item categories
    Modify the billing user-exit (RV60AFZZ) to trigger campaign determination for billing documents using standard SAP function modules, based on the campaign determination flag

  • Campaign determination integrated scenario

    Hi,
    I am struggling with campaign determination Integrated scenario. I have followed help documentation for Campaign Determination in SAP ECC Order processing. I have created subscription for Campaigns, target groups and conditions (replication object cnd_m_sup). Campaigns and target groups are replicated ok to erp. Replication object cnd_m_sup seem to miss some data when I look at the content from smw01. KOND3 is not updated in erp and campaign determination is not taken place (we have debugged a bit and it seems that campaign determination would work if cond3 had been filled). Which publication/replication object fills kond3? Should cnd_m_sup fill kond3? Do anyone have any idea of which config is missing?

    For setting up partner determination procedure for Campaign, goto transaction spro.
    Choose CRM->Marketing ->Marketing Planning and Campaign Management
    In here, please expand the node 'Partner Processing'. There is IMG documentation help available on how to set up PDP.

    2.) This does not solve the problem, because I want to synchronize the music: I want to synchronize playlists, ratings, last played statistics etc. between the iTunes and the iPod. Disabling the synchronization once means that iTunes will delete everything on the next synch - and upload everything from the PC again (30GB takes a while + the iPod play settings are gone).
    6.) I know that iMac <-> PC sunchronization is not possible. But I would like to see this feature in the future. I have a MAC and I have PC's..

    Does anyone knows if Campaign Determination for Pricing is only for Campaign for category Trade Promotion only ? So how about Campaigns ? How does Campaign Determination for Pricing work ? Using Events?

    for that you need to get through the difference between the campaign and TP,the only thing that is different in Tp is that it is for particular account type,due to this particular property of Tp the campaign determination is triggered for TP by default
    but you can trigger campaign also by setting your condition types,then assocate those condition with the access sequence,the system will look through the sequence for the condition type,and based on the condition you have maintained the campaign is triggered.
    the condition table by default fill the value for Trade Promition and when you do campaign determiantion the system pick the value from the table and that  valuse is for TP only,that is the reason for Tp determination.
    but as i said you can determine campaign by the above said way of mine.

  • Campaign Automation Responses

    All I have configured campaign automation .
    Scenario: To collect all survey responders to one target group and collect non-responders to different target group.
    System Settings:
    Configuration:
    1.     Objective, tactics, campaign type, communication medium, transaction type for outgoing email, transaction types for incoming email, for incoming email transaction type defined Action profile, all workflow settings, marketing survey, attached survey URL to email form, created target group with email id
    Settings:
    1.     Created campaign
    2.     Created campaign element1 with target group, communication medium (email), workflow u2013 send target group to channel
    3.     Created rules u2013 survey responders to campaign element2, non-responders to campaign element3
    4.     Created Campaign elemen2, attached empty target group, workflow- Add BP to Target Group
    5.     Created campaign element 3, attached empty target group, workflow u2013 Add BP to Target Group
    Problem:
    1.     After executing the campaign, I can see the email with survey. When I save the survey, it prompts me to Outlook with To Email ID and also .ATT file.
    2.     After the sending this email, in campaign element1, NUMBER OF RESPONSES ARE NOT GETTING UPDATED
    3.     Also, target groups Campaign Element2 and Element3 are empty
    What are the required settings for BAdI?
    a.     BAdI: Campaign Determination
    b.     BAdI: PAI Processing of Survey Data in Campaign Automation

    You dont need BAdi implemention for your scenario. SAP standard provides this functionality.
    Now, sice you are facing the problem, check the below points:
    1.) "Start for every respondent" should be checked.
    2.) Check the URL in your mail form: You should insert the URL with option "tracking via Target Site" or "Intermediate site" based on
          your requirement. To know the differenc between these two tracking option, check the documentation for Hyperlink in
          Personalized Mail under Marketing scenario.
    3.) Last but not least, check your condition. Make sure you have selected the correct question and answer in the decission node.
    If these three are correct, your requirement will be met. You do not need any BAdi implementation for this requirement.
