Campaign Discounts

Hi Gurus
Is there a way to split and apply the campaign discount only to specific quantities on line items ?
Referencing the campaign discount at item level is effecting all the quantities.
Is it possible via std configurations? If not, Could you please suggest a logic to achieve it?
Example Scenario
Line 1 - SKU001 – Qty 5 – (Apply discount to only 2 of 5)
Line 2 – SKU002 – Qty 3 – (Apply discount to only 1 of 3)

Hi Kiran,
in campaign management there is no such logic available - each discount needs to be entered manually. In trade promotion management you can generate different discounts for the products using exceptions.

Campaign Discount Condition - not visible

Hi,
I'm creating a campaign wherein assigned the product and then trying to assign the standard campaign discount condition type - 1201, but unable to see the same in the condition type drop down list. Have checked all the relevant settings in the configuration like - Condition Maintenance group, condition type etc.
Please provide some pointers to bring in the discount condition type in the campaign.

Hi Raj,
Please recheck whether the condition table is active or not. If it is inactive, activate it.
Please recheck the condition type and condition table in Condition maintenance group properly.
If it does not work fine, please regenerate the table with report /SAPCND/RV12N001.
Please restart VMC with tcode SM52.
Please paste some screenshots such as condition type, cond. maintenance group, error messages etc. so that it would be helpful to others to analyze the issue.

Campaign Discount

Hi Gurus
We have set up a marketing campaign in SAP , and under the discount tab for campaign we have set up a discount using the Product and Country and Condition type for a 50% discount off a Product, but when testing it in CRM it takes 50% off on countries which we do not have included in our list . I have no idea why that is happening.

Hi,
ther're two ways to generate discounts from campaign.
If you use TPM the pricing engine will generate discounts for you that get automatically applied into the sales order.
If you use Campaign Management you have to manualy generate discount from the tab "Discounts". Once saved these conditions apply to sales orders created in whatever channel.

Email signup campaign - discount

hi
I am trying to set up a discount of 15% off for customers who sign up for our newsletter.
I know that when creating a discount code it allows for voiding after "x" amount of redemptions, but this won't work in my case.
I want it to be for the individual who signs up, not for anyone with the discount code. Does anyone have any suggestions on how
to make this work with BC?

Hi,
The only set-up I can think of is to provide a subscription form. Then either provide the discount code on the auto-responder when the system confirms subscription. Or to provide the code on a newsletter that you will be sending out to to the customer basically will send to everyone who has subscribed.

How to update campaign pricing discount through coding

Hi ,
I have a requirement where I need to maintain campaign Discount through coding.
Generally , we create the condition record by clicking on 'New' button on Discount assignment block . Then its shows pop-up to choose the Condition type combination. When we click on it , it redirects to Edit list View component and we maintain there only.
But here I need to maintain directly Discount assignment button through coding.
Please help me out here.

Hello,
when creating the condions manually in a campaign or auto generate the conditions in a trade promotion this calls function module /SAPCND/MNT_MAINTAIN_OW. You can try to use that one to generate the conditions.
Two remarks:
you will need to take care of the correct input parameter when calling that function
you will need to make sure that the conditions are saved afterwards

Can campaign discount condition records be maintained in ECC as well?

Campaign Pricing

Hi SAP Gurus,
I need to assign a specific discount to the target group in a campaign. In this scenario, which usage type should I take namely PR-Pricing or BO-Rebate or FG-Free Goods or CD-Campaign Determination.
If I take Campaign Determination(CD), I am not able to create a condition record. Also the Group Condition Maintenance is seen in Web UI, but I am not able to assign a discounted price either in currency or percentage.
Kindly help me out.

I am able to assign the target group. How do I maintain the special price in the Campaign discounts Assignment Block so that the benefit is offered to the customers. There is no field maintained for currency in the standard SAP Condition Table (SAP12002)

Mail Campaign?

How do we integrate our executed Mail Campaign to sales Order Process?
Ex: We are offering discount on online purchase for a product which is otherwise selling at 100 Rs for Rs 70. When a mail recipient sees this and click on buy online, how does the system recognizes that this customer is suppose to get this campaign discount.

Not sure which CRM it was implemented in, but there is a Campaign Code that the Web Channel webshop will accept that will then allow the customer to receive the discount. I seem to remember reading somewhere here (but didn't bookmark it, sorry) that if you set up the webshop, it will read the campaign code if you include a link to the specific product at your webshop in the email.

Coupon specific discounts are not coming in the sales order

Hello Experts,
I have created a internal coupon campaign and assigned discounts to the campaign. We used condition type 1202 to assign the discount values in the campaign.
In the sales order when i enter the coupon id system fetching the corresponding campaign ID. But , sales order is not fetching the discount condition types mentioned in the campaign.
Below are the configurations i made.
1) Copied the condition type 1202 to ZCUI.
2) Assign this condition type to the condition maintenance group (1200) and keep the condition table as SAP12000
3) Maintain this condition type to the pricing procedure and assign pricing procedure to the Sales order transaction type.
4) In the campaign i have maintained the values for the condition type . -- Sales org, distri channel. divison, Product , discount value
5) I even verified that CNDCRMPRSAP12000 has the records for this campaign.
Now the question is do i need to do any customization in Campaign determination. I am not using TPM and it is a simple coupon campaign.
Please suggest me , your help is highly appreciated.

Not sure if it works, may be you can check this
- is your condition type 1202's calculation type field has been defined as "percentage"?
- the pricing procedure that you are using, does it contain the corresponding condition type 1202 for discount amount?
- Has the pricing procedure been maintained for your org data in "Determine Pricing Procedure" in spro-> CRM-> Basic Functions -> Pricing -> Determing Pricing Procedure
Please check this.

How to use coupon discount in sales order?

I want to add coupon discount in order, do I need some config in order transaction type?
Right now, I can't5 find some field to fill in coupon code, even I fill in the product and customer in former coupon.
Could someone help me on how to use coupon discount in transaction level?

Coupons are generally related to the campaigns.
If you are creating an order through the transaction crmd_order, you can mention the campaign document id, under the tab "Header Overview" in the field "Camp./TP".

Campaign detrmination in sales order

Hi All,
I am working on scenario where we need to determine campaign in order. All the configuration is done & its in testing phase.
I want to understand how the process works to make the campaign pricing applicble in order.
I have maintained the campaign . Maintained the discounts in VTS tab page & checked detremination box.
Campaign determination is laso defined.
Will it now determine the campaign.
Or do I need to add any additional steps in order to determine the campaign
Also, can I also have campaign element determined in Sales Order.

For this you need to create a campaign determination procedure.
Create accesses and then assign them to access sequence
and further access sequence assigned to condition type and
condition type assigned to campaign determination procedure .

Campaign determination in R/3 based in CRM campaigns

Hi,
We have CRM4.0.
Can you confirm me if I create a campaign in CRM with planned dates without condition records when I create a sales order in R/3 that campaign is determined automatically? Or the R/3 only works with pricing/condition campaigns?

After some hard work finally the answer is clear. It is possible to have campaign determination in R3 sales order for an marketing trade promotion (without customer or pricing conditions).
As an example if there is a trade promotion for indoors(publicity) and no pricing discount or free goods, you can have this campaign determined in correspondent sales orders.
Indeed it is necessary to used conditions technique but not pricing condition in CRM trade/spends tab.
