Campaigns run in multiple countries

My company runs many marketing campaigns in many different countries. I would like to be able to place a Country field (with picklist) or an Address block on the Campaign record page and then be able to select that to display, use as a filter in a list of campaigns or campaign reports. Can anyone give me an idea how this might be possible?
I find that the Campaign field setup and page layouts do not give this as an option. I could add a new "Country" field and make my own picklist but feel there is surely a better way than resorting to that.
Currently we try to put the country name in the Campaign Name but this is not always applicable.

Thanks for the info, Arnold, but user country or region won't work for us, unfortunately. The campaigns are worldwide but set up, owned and run by users in only two countries. As we don't use Books of Business, this is not an option either.
Perhaps I should put up an enhancement request to allow for the use of the CRMOD Country field for the "home" of the Campaign. Currently, there is no option for this unless I create a field, set as a picklist, and create the whole picklist from scratch.
Ideally, a Campaign Address Block would be good as this would provide an area to enter the exhibition hall address for, say, a tradeshow as well, or the location etc for a magazine office if it was an advert. Might have a look at the possibility of an additional segment on the Campaign page to see if I can add an address block ..... ?

    We don't support merging of multiple responses at this time. You could export your data and use an application like Excel to do this type of merging for you.

    I know there was a problem with mesh and multiple countries in the past.

    Yes, I do not think even in 8.0.x code multiple country code supported for mesh deployments.

  • TitanTV listings page NOW affects my Firefox. I'd commonly run it -multiple tabs- with no problem at all. Now-- Hanging!; flash crash,etc.. What jusT changed??

    (Using WiFi and all-- library computers, etc.. I got in the habit of keeping multiple tabs open. I came to Firefox because it handled that usage much, much better than any version of IE. Running the multiple tabs of the future television listings made sense and Was very convenient.. Was. Now it seems -after eliminating other possibilities* that the TitanTV page is the cause of my Firefox Hanging.. (when open at all It slows even Other pages' scrolling..?! ) So yeah-- 'Hanging,' unresponsive page, flash/shockwave -type crashes etc. ,etc. Obviously..I don't Have to use the page.. or run it on this browser but What ALL Of A Sudden is causing this to occur?? Is it the ad content on there somehow? I'd love to find out at this point... and I do prefer this to the other browsers. [*And did follow the posted usual troubleshoots as well as uninstall/re-install on both the Firefox and antivirus (Avast), clearing the cache memory...] I'd love it if I could solve this new mystery here....     I am glad it is working again after following Moses's advice.
    You say give us volunteers better ammunition, would help with troubleshooting. Well one thing you could have done along those lines was to follow the prompts to include full troubleshooting information in your question.
    You have marked the thread solved and so it appears running in safe mode with plugins disabled solved the issue for you. That is commonly seen in searches as a troubleshooting step because it is useful. Firefox is highly customisable something people like, but the downside is all the various addons do not always work well in every situation and combination.
    The action was only intended as a troubleshooting step, but you may well have more than one single issue here and may need further help sorting that out. I appreciate you are frustrated & not swearing '''at''' ''Moses'' but you are probably more likely to find help if you tone down the language.
    I can not be sure yet but probably most of you problems are not directly related to the upgrade of Firefox from Fx28 to Fx29.

  • One TPV for multiple Countries

    Hi Experts,
    Could you pls share experirnce/knowledge around having one TPV for multiple countries together. The scenario is like below:
    1. There are mutiple Countries in Central America which are small islands for whom we need to roll out the Travel and Expense Solution.
    2. The Company code is only one which contains employees from all these Countries.
    Could you tell us how can we do the setup. Should we create one TPV at the company code level. OR should we rather use some other criteria for selecting the TPV maybe at the Personnel area or Personnel Sub Area level.

    These things I am aware about too. My real question is if I create only one TPV for the company code and assign the Country of the Company code then what issues would this cause. To name a few pls see below.
    1) The domestic Country would always be the Company code Country so would be treated as Domestic Country and show on the Form also as domestic Country even for the employees who are from other Countries.
    2) There are setting which SAP allows differently for Domestic and International like per diem, miles cumulations. So these necessarily have to be kept as same even though local laws are different in all these countries as Domestic is only the Company code Country.
    So I need detailed analysis of what impact I will have by having only one TPV as against making many TPV like one for each Country by using some other parameter like Personnel area/Personnel sub area etc.

  • How do you disable "Run with Multiple Threads" in a standalone EXE

    I have a program written in Labview 6.1.  After moving to a different hardware platform, my program has started crashing at the same point every time it is run.  I eventually found out that the cause of the crash is the fact that the new hardware has a dual core processor.  I confirmed this by disabling "Run with multiple threads" and now the program works fine.  What I need to know now is how to disable the same setting in a built EXE file, since as far as I know the "Run with multple threads" setting only affects execution in the Labview Dev environment.

  • Multiple countries as selection criteria in Segment Builder

    Hi folks,
    Requirement is, we need to create a Target group which consists of all BPs who belong to 25 countries. The attribute is 'Country' in the Attribute List.
    Current situation is, in the Segment Builder,  the user needs to select each country, by dragging and droping 25 times on the Target Group.
    There must be only one drag and drop which should cover all 25 countries. Can anybody give an idea how to resolve this issue.

    Regarding the selection of business partner who are in multiple countries, you told me that Crl and select the countries and click on 'OR with the attribute' button.
    This solution is ok, if couple of the countries are selected. But if 50 countries need to be selected, the user does not agree for this. So what is alternate solution. How to handle such a situation ??

    How can I carry out a depreciation run for multiple company codes in one transaction? I thought about creating a variant and running a batch job but you can only select the run for one company code at a time. Am I missing something here. Kindly provide explanation of how this can be done.

    Use the program RAPOST2010. There is no transaction for this program, but you can create your own if necessary, for example ZAFAB.

    -You can use same form scenario or process for multiple countries if you are using fields based on international structure HCMT_BSP_PA_XX_R*. If you intend to use country specific fields then you may like to use different form scenario for different countries.
    2. Is there any limitation to no. of fields on the form? does the form performs well with multiple dynamic conditions?
    - As such there is no limiation for the fields.Yes, form performs well with multiple rule configurations.
    3. If yes, what is the best way to do this? through Java Script / Back end Generic Service?
    I interpret you would like to derive & show fields based on same backend logic, in that case you should generic service.
    If you want to show fields based on manager's logon then you should also use authorization BAdi.

    I'm starting a new project with a multinational client to implement SAP ESS / MSS Portal in multiple countries.
    What should be the best approach to implement ESS and MSS roles:
    - Create different roles for different countries (example: 1 ESS and 1 MSS role for each country)
    - Use the same roles for every countries (using only 1 ESS and 1 MSS role for all countries). If using this approach I will have to hide some services that are not to be used in every countries. If so, how can I hide these services?

    from ehp5

  • Do Applets that runs in multiple IE use the different JVM?

    I found that it seems that applets that runs in multiple IE or multiple Firefox instance/process
    share the same JVM instance on Windows.
    Is it the same on Linux and other platforms?
    Or it is just a bug relative to this one?

    1. For IE, I enabled java console.
    2. Start one instance of IE with an applet page. Got a console.
    3. Start second instance of IE (double click on it, not New Window!) with an applet page. Got a second console.
    This tells me that the 2 instances do not share the VM.

  • BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE is  hangs up when running for multiple users

    Hi SAP Gurus,
    I am using BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE for price repricing . However when multiple users or same user runs in multiple sessions, one session will run , however other sessions till it reaches BAPI it is fast and once it enters to BAPI, it got hangs up or keeps running  & not giving any output.
    Any thoughts how i can impove the performace for muliple users when i am using this BAPI.

  • App needs to run on multiple DBs; can parsing schema/ ref owner be dynamic?

    I have an app that needs to run on multiple databases. Is there a way to create something like an app-level item -- something that only needs to be set once -- that can be referenced to specify the parsing schema, and all of the instances of "reference table owner" used to specify the source for DML? Or (I've not tried this yet) can I just NOT set the value of reference table owner? In my case, the reference table owner for all tables is the same as the parsing schema.

    hi Varad -- I should have been more specific. The application does not need to access multiple databases; rather, it will be installed on multiple databases, operating only on the DB on which it's installed. (Same functionality on each DB, same DB schemas in each, different data in each.)
    So, I'm wondering if there is a way to have the parsing schema somehow be set automatically based on information in the database, or if I'll have to create a slightly different version of the app, w/ different parsing schemas, for each database.
    It was recommended to me (perhaps by you, I can't recall) that the parsing schema be the same as the owner of the tables that the app accesses; the table owner is different in each of these databases, so that is the source of this problem (if indeed it is a problem).

  • 11i financials within multiple countries

    We are doing 11i financials within multiple countries and I have one doubt.
    US (headquarters) has Jan-Dec financial calendar and say India (regional branch) has Apr-Mar financial calendar.
    So in this situation when you close the financial year for India, how would you post the balances from India to US?

    You will obviously have 2 different SOB's , one for US and one for India. You will also have some consolidation process in place to consolidate the monthly figures from India SOB to US SOB. Right?
    You will follow the same consolidation process to consolidate the India year end month (March) figures to US march figures. You will have to write some elimination entries to eliminate/handle the retained earnings entry for April.
