Can 10.2 startup using Classic only?

I was wondering does Mac OS X 10.2 show OS 9 as a start up option when you click the Startup Disk in System Preferences? When you click Startup Disk, it says: Select The System Folder for starting up your computer and then lists: OS X and OS 9. See I have 10.1.5 and it shows that it can start up entirely in the OS 9 operating system. Or does 10.2 just run Classic applications from X? I want to be able to startup the computer in OS 9 with 10.2.

On my G3 Pismo laptop with OS 9.2 & Tiger installed on the same hard drive I can select OS 9.2 or 10.4 using the Startup Disk preference, however, if I startup with the Option key depressed, only 10.4 shows up in the Startup Manager window.
On my G4 I have OS 9.2 & OS X installed on seprate partitions. Using the Option key at startup, I can select either OS.

Can inherited events be used with only one processor?

Hi friends!
The question is quite simple: I have one parent event and several events which inherit from the first one. Every inherited event has its own properties and also the inherited properties (which have public visibility in the parent class so that the inheritance is automatic). I pass events to the CEP processor but it only works with the parent class and doesn't with the child ones. I mean, I'm using only one processor and only one CQL sentence.
Is it neccesary to configure one processor for every inherited event?

It says the following:
As you can see there are two input channels which are both connected to the JMS adapter as well as only one processor which is connected to the input channels and to the output channels. It is supposed that each event goes through each input and output channel but it fails and says the following:
Channels mesEventsOutputChannel and inputPetitionOutputChannel from the same query must have the same event type.
InputPetition is MeSEvent's child. It inherits all MeSEvent's preperties.
Does anybody know what is happening?

Is it possible to install OS 9 and classic along with 10.5 to use some old applications?

I should also have mentioned that you can make partitions on any bootable drive, including your main drive, and divide the OSs up that way too. You probably know though, that if you do that you'll have to copy or clone your existing system to another drive if you want to save it, because partitioning in many cases will erase all the data on the drive. Start another thread if you have any questions about that. Or anything else.

Can EC-CS run with Classic GL and New GL both in parallel?

We are on ECC 6.0 EhP4, and use EC-CS for consolidation.
The plan is to use New GL from next fiscal year. Consolidation is at company code level.
Profit centers are active in system, but there is no consolidation by profit center.
Document splitting will be used in New GL.
Question : for some time after new GL is active, and before we switch off Classic GL - can we run consolidations using Classic GL and New GL both? The intention is to check if everything is working like before .

Well to answer some the questions:
1. The 4th entity is a legal entity
2. All the 4 entities are company codes and we do not use consolidation.
3. Ideally we would like to migrate the 3 companies on SAP to the new GL to coincide with the go live of the 4th entity but we may have resource and time constraints.
Most of the answers were very helpful but I still dont have a clear answer.
For example If I activate the new GL at client level and have document splitting only for the new entity and classic for the old entities, how will this affect any intercompany posting and also the month end processes? PCA accounting is very important for all the entities

The "Photos" view has been replaced by the Media Browser.
Most applications will show you the Photos icon in the Sidebar, when you need to select photos in a file chooser dialoge. Mail, Safari, the iWork apps. See Terence Devlin's User Tip: How to Access Files in iPhoto

There probably is, but it requires that you be able to use punctuation and write in sentences so that we can understand exactly what you want.
You can block others from using your Apple ID by changing your password. There is no way to erase what was already downloaded on to someone else's device, for obvious reasons,

I had the same error when trying to update my apps on my ipod touch. I tried to input my security code numerous times to no avail. I also made sure my billing address was the same as what my bank had on file. To fix the issue I went into iTunes, logged onto the iTunes store, went to account settings and reviewed my recent purchases. I paid off the credit card, and then input my security code once more and now it works fine. So you had music on the iPad that is not in iTunes and you no longer have the iPad. Is that what you are saying? If that is what you are saying, iTunes won't "recognize" anything that was on the iPad, that was not purchased from iTunes. If the music was purchased from iTunes, you should probably be able to download it again for free as long as you are using the same Apple ID that you bought it with. Did you try downloading the music again?
Am I understanding what it is that you want to do? If I am understanding you correctly, you will find this to be useful.

Can't sign in using any 3rd party email client with my iCloud account on any Mac or any other Mac. My iCloud will only work with Mail.app. All the clients I tried work perfectly well as long as I sign in with somebody else's iCloud account. But mine won't work no matter the client (Postbox, Unibox, Airmail...) and no matter the computer.
I can access my account on iCloud.com, but I can't use email clients without getting error messages prompting me to check my password or login.
I was able to use those clients in the past but a couple of months ago I got logged out of Airmail and the issue started just like that!
I tried every possible mail server settings including the following:
IMAP information for the incoming mail server
Server name: imap.mail.me.com
SSL Required: Yes
If you receive errors when using SSL, try using TLS instead.
Port: 993
Username: The name part of your iCloud email address (for example, emilyparker, not [email protected])
Password: Your iCloud password
SMTP information for the outgoing mail server
Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
SSL Required: Yes
If you receive errors when using SSL, try using TLS instead.
Port: 587
SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
Username: Your full iCloud email address (for example, [email protected], not emilyparker)
Password: Your iCloud password

Those are the correct settings, and they work with any email client that supports Imap.
Try again.

Try inserting and re-inserting your headphones 7 or 8 times. Also try cleaning out the headphone jack in case of debris that might be interfering with the connection/disconnection.

The answer is “yes”. Two events have happened both of which concerned the Time Capsule:
The telephone company, with which I have access to the Internet and I have my email account, installed a new modum. After the technician left I had to try and get the Time Capsule and WiFi working again which ended with my having to call Apple for technical assistance. The Apple technician walked me through a number of procedural steps which effectively re-set up the Time Capsule.
Access to the Internet failed and the telephone company reset the modum. I had to call Apple again. This time the technician did not reset the Time Capsule but walked me through a number of steps tha included renaming the “site” (not the Time Capsule).
Another piece of information that may be relevant is that the MacBook Pro uses the Time Capsule for backup. Everything appears to be in order. When I enter the Time Capsule for this laptop I have backups going back for a long time.
Also, I do a weekly backup of the two computers onto another external hard drive using the Time Machine software. So I have another backup of both computers.

I had never heard of someone using the iPhone Number as the ID in the iMessages account in the Mac version.
i.e without adding an Apple ID
iMessages does allow iPhone numbers and mine lists mine.
I would try this.
Sign Out of the iMessages account and Quit Messages
On the iPhone in Settings > Messages remove the Apple ID
Set the iPhone to Airplane mode for a few minutes (to break with the Server)
On starting the phone up again check the iPhone Number is ticked for iMessages.
If it is add the Apple ID
On the Mac restart Messages
Add the Apple ID
At this point you should get a pop up or two saying the iPhone is using the Number and Apple ID.
Accept these and they get added to the Receive At list and Send From drop down.

You cannot. There is no iTunes application on an iPad and iPods cannot sync with an iPad.
