Can 5s be activated without the previous\original apple id?
Hi,
My friend's 5S got stolen and it looks like he didn't turned on Find my iPhone (the new device doesn't show in his Find my iPhone app),
He had a 4-digit unlock code so I guess the thief would have to restore the OS,
Can the thief do anything with his device?
1. Can it be activated with every Apple ID or is it going to ask him for the previous one?
2. In case he did turned it on without knowing, how can he associate a device from the devices list to his stolen 5S? it doesn't show added date or type of phone, just the color and the name, and that won't help him too much...
Any other suggestions\tips would be highly appreciated (other then "turn on Find my iPhone next time" ).

Yes but the name and color was identical to all the device (I used the same backup to restore them),
Eventually I found out that 5S devices have a fingerprint reader button on the icon, it takes forever to see the difference between 5 and 5S on the website, dunno why that's the only difference they made, but at the end it was enough to recognize the right device (:

If you cannot contact the previous owner, then the iPhone is unusuable. There is no way past the activation lock without the Apple ID and password used to set up the lock, or the previous owner removing the device from his/her iCloud account.
If you purchased the iPhone though a service such as eBay that offers buyer protection, contact that service and file a complaint and get your money back. If you purchased the iPhone privately, then you've wasted your money.

How can I remove the previous owners apple i.d. from my app store?
Just recently, after 8 months of ownership, my App Store has started to cancel my updates in favour of asking the computers previous owner to log into the app store to update. Is there any way I can remove their account from my App Store? It's getting annoying!
Were there apps that the previous owner bought from the Mac App Store on the Mac when you got it? They should have been removed before passing the Mac to you. At this point those are pirated apps and they can only be updated using the previous owners Apple ID. You should remove all of them from the Mac and buy them using your own Apple ID. Probably not what you wanted to hear.

What can I do to active my new iPhone 5s if I don't have the previous owner apple ID because I don't know him.
So the trick here is at what point are you getting stuck? You'll know whether or not you can use the device after you've restored it in iTunes. If the previous owner had not removed their iCloud account (or turned off Find My iPhone) before you do this, then the phone is forced into Activation Lock (which you'll likely see after restoring the device, upon setting it up). If this is the case, you either HAVE to contact the previous owner and have them help you type in their password or remove the phone from their iCloud account by logging into iCloud.com, or if you can provide valid proof of purchase you may be able to get support through AppleCare or an Apple Store. Otherwise, see if you can return it! Good luck!

I updated to new ios and now it is not syncing properly. New songs are not showing up on the ipod display but when I view the device on my computer, they are in the playlist but there is a dashed circle beside the missing songs. It previously synced perfectly before the IOS update. How can i revert back to the previous installed version?

I had an Apple ID which I used for iCloud. I upgraded the iCloud account and changed the apple ID to a @me address. Now I can't view what was in my original apple ID account. How can I get what was stored on the original account?

Why would you not be able to use your existing Apple ID and iTunes account on a new laptop? If you authorized the computer - you should be able to use your existing account - unless you already had 5 computers authorized with the existing ID - and that was why iTunes would not accept the ID. However, I'm sure that you would have received a popup message from iTunes telling you that you had reached the limit.
I just received a new MBP and my daughter did as well. My entire family shares an Apple ID and we had no issues at all with my Apple ID and iTunes on our new computers and I did not have to sign up for a new account. Did you even try the old ID? -
My kids desabled my mini ipad after several tries to log in. My computer that I used to sincronize it doesn't work anymore and i can't connected to itunes.. How can i restart it without the actual computer that I used before??
You can use any computer but your data will be lost if you have no backup.
