Can a cost distribution line have multiple invoice distributions?

I have a functional question. Is is possible to have multiple invoice distribution for a single cost distribution line?
I mean, if we join PA.PA_COST_DISTRIBUTION_LINES_ALL AND AP.AP_INVOICE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL, will we get multiple invoice distributin lines for a cost distribution line.

Hi,
It is technically not possible for one CDL to map to multiple invoice distributions. In 11i the joins are: cdl.system_referece2 = apd.invoice_id, and cdl.system_reference_3 = apd.distribution_line_num, and a combination of (invoice_id, distributioncd_line_number) would always give you only one AP Invoice distribution. In R12, the mapping is EI.document_header_id = APD.invoice_distribution_id and one invoice_distribution_id can point to only one AP Invoice Distribution.
Multiple CDLs for a single AP Invoice Distribution: Yes, this is possible.
1. When an AP Invoice distribution is imported into Projects and adjustments are carried out in Projects for the imported line and then the PRC: Distribute Supplier Adjustments process, then at this point of time multilple CDLs map to a particular AP distribution. Now, when PRC: Interface Supplier Adjustments to Payables is run, the adjusted transactions create new AP distributions.
2. For a CDL, there can be 'C' and 'D' lines, which would carry the same attributes as the 'R' line, hence we can say there are multiple CDLs for a single AP distribution.

Now I assigned this user1 to workspace names as workspace1
When I created another workspace named as workspace2 and if I assign user1 to workspace2 ,
I don't see user1 in workspace1
So at a time I can see user1 in either workspace1 or workspace2 ( I am checking this from manage workspace screen )

This is even more simple if u see the ADMIN account created during workspace creation who have the one user for one workspace as well as lots of Workspace u are creating.Thus the Admin have multiple workspace access provision.
Each admin account is different & works independetly specific to that workspace , so I can have admin for workspace1 & admin for workspace2 both with their individual passwords ( Isn't this true )

I realized unlike Item Invoice, Service Invoice does not have the "Type" column for me to include Text into the document?
How can I include a free text into 1 row of the Service Invoice? without any GL Account, Qty and Total input?

Try to use the Description(100 characters) Field
but if you want to add more characters at row level in single field.
Try to add a UDF(500 Characters) on Marketing Documents.

Can a single Mail account have multiple outgoing people names?

I notice that Postbox seems to work well with multiple identities. In addition, you can set a different name for each identity, such as:
John Smith for [email protected]
Support for [email protected]
Is there a way to do that in Apple Mail? If not, I think I'll switch to Postbox. It's on sale for $6.95 for a short time.

Just tried one thing and it worked for me.
Close Mail app.
go to ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData
and copy file Accounts.plist somewhere to keep the orriginal safe if something goes wrong.
then open Accounts.plist with text editor (do not use rich text editor, just plain text)
in this file look for
<dict>
<key>AccountName</key>
<string>The name you call your account</string>
The name you call your account should be the rel name of that account
then somewhere bellow you should see
<key>EmailAddresses</key>
<array>
<string>[email protected]</string>
</array>
add these lines (that appears green in this port) bellow </array> that belongs to john smith.

Help! iPhoto alerts pop up that say, "The photo "DSC06691.JPG" cannot be opened because the original cannot be located." I can locate original, but I have multiple images with same name!

Recently my library prompted me to rebuild due to inconsistencies that were found in library. Now alerts pop up that say it can't locate the original of an image, so I have an option to cancel or locate it. I can locate the file, however, there are usually 2 or 3 photos with the same file name! Not sure which one it is trying to locate etc. I have a feeling this is the problem. Not sure how it happened. Has anyone had this happen to them?? iPhoto library hasn't rebuilt because there are so many pop up alerts...I have a feeling it's a big problem. I am going to attempt to select one image for each one and see what happens, but I am concerned what the outcome will be.
My camera cards are already deleted (I knew I should have kept them!!). We do have time capsule, so I am assuming I can go back, but I am worried that iphoto will do the same thing. It just started doing it about two weeks ago and it didn't correspond with any photo uploads. I hope someone can help!

Are you running a managed or referenced library?
If it's a managed library apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Why can't Mac users, who have multiple devices, have device icons for drag and drop, on desktop rather than iCloud, iTunes, etc. ?

I want drag and drop in the form of icons on my iMac, from all my other Apple devices. I don't want to have to go through iCloud, iTunes and DropBox.

What are you other apple devices?
For an all Mac OS X set, you could write an applescript to perform the task.

MRBR for multiple invoice with 1 GR

Hello
A question came up on how MRBR does it matching and clearing.
If we have multiple IR and one GR for the same line item does MRBR match on a FIFO basis?
Example: line 10 100 QTY    to be received at various time.
We receive invoice 1   6/1, invoice 2 on 6/15 for the same amount and Qty. No GR has been performed yet.
GR occurs on   6/17 which invoice would MRBR clear for payment Invoice 1 the oldest or Invoice 2?
*I tested and MRBR doesnot release any invoice automatically for multiple IR for 1 GR. User needs to release invoices manually.
What config needs to be done -
(We do IR before GR).
If we have multiple IRs or GRs then MRBR links and release automatically invoices based on FIFO basis.

Multiple invoices of a single vendor

Hi friends,
Instead of FB60, I would like to know if I have multiple invoices for a vendor if it is possible to go to a particular transaction and key in the general info only once and then key in the invoice number, account being charged along with the invoice amount. I believe there is a screen called (Multi Voucher-Single Supplier) but unable to trace.
This would allow us to type in the invoice number, the invoice amount and the G/L account to be charged on a continuous basis and not have to key everything separately each time for high volume vendors. It saves time in keying. Please advise.

our company has a unique requirement. we want to identify cost by Cost Center/stats IO combination. We have a scenario wherein one cost center will have multiple Stats IO combination and these Stats IO can be used across multiple cost centers.
The reason is that the Stats IO are cost portions identifiers and they are repetitive across cost centers. So instead of creating multiple cost centers, we create a combination in the coding block.
During cost allocation we want to move cost based on a particular cost combination. As Stats IO are not cost allocatble, the system completely ignores the combination and total cost for the cost center/cost element combination is selected.
The stats IO information is stored in COEP as OBJNR_N1 field. However this is not available in the Tcode KCIV ( maintain Sender / receiver combination ).
Has anybody come across this scenario and did some enhancement, are there any speciific userexits to address this ?
any help would be appreciated...

However we are receiving an error when attempting to enter data in the field which we have this edit. Error property: line through cannot be set because doing so would violate the document permission setting. any idea how we can get around this issue?

You can control which fields are locked down after signing by setting up a collection. Then those that are not locked can be changed after signing. If this is not possible, then the line outs must occur prior to signing.

Yes , it is possible.

It is drives from parameter "Max. partial deliveries" that you define in Customer master (VD03) and schedule line in sales order.
Also off course on manual delivery creation (VL01n); for how many quantities you create delivery.
If you have customer material info record (VD51) there you can also define "Max. partial deliveries" , it get preference over customer master.

Can a Jtable row have multiple lines? For instance, if the string is too long, can i set a property so that the line breaks and makes the row larger (vertically), rather than carrying off the table (horizontally)? If so, can you please point me in the direction of what property to edit.

You should be able to write a renderer using a JTextArea and set it on that column. that should atleast give you a start to wrap the text. But you need to add it to the scroll pane etc etc.
but i think you need to do more to increase the size of the row vertically.
