Can a iPhone 4 have Siri on it without being jailbroke

I'm wondering if iphone4 works with Siri in iOS 7.1 or if it just works with the iphone4s?

Sorry no, you'll need an iphone 4S or higher in order to have and use Siri.

One of them can keep the current account.  Since the iCloud email account must stay with the current account, whoever uses it for email might be the best one to keep it.  You can then migrate the other phones to separate accounts, along with a copy of the data.  To do this, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll.  If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud), choose Keep on My iDevice and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone.  Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create the new account and choose Merge to upload the data.
Once all the phones are on separate accounts, you can each go to icloud.com and delete each other's data from your accounts.

If the iphone is locked to Orange in Israel then only Orange in Israel can authorise Apple to release the lock .No one else
However if you look here Orange in Israel appear not to lock iPhones they sell

  • Why can't iPad 2 have Siri

    iPad 2 should have Siri.

Why? Apple did not promise Siri when you bought your iPad.
It's probably due to the RAM and processor limitations.
    iPad: RAM - 256MB, Processor - 1 GHz Apple A4
    iPad 2: RAM - 512MB, Processor - 1GHz dual-core Apple A5

  • Can I use the Airport Time Capsule Wirelessly without being connected to my router/mac by ethernet?

    Hey
I've recently bought a 3TB Airport Time Capsule, with the sole intention of being able to perform wireless backups.
Is it possible to perform these wireless backups without being connected by ethernet to my modem/existing router?  I don't want to use the time capsule as a replacement for my existing router (at this stage) - just for wireless backups of my Macs.
If this is not possible, or practicable, are there other alternatives that I should explore? (non-cloud)
    Thanks in advance
    Steven
    PS
    Boring background:
I'm in a rental property with a woefully inadequate number of plugs in practical places. In addition there is only one phone socket. The result being insufficient safe space to have the existing router, and the Airport TC along with the existing electrical items.

Unfortunately, Apple designed the Time Capsule to connect to a modem or modem/router using an Ethernet connection.
If you do this, you do have the option of turning off the wireless on the Time Capsule and using your existing wireless for backups. Backups will be automatic this way, in the background. The Time Capsule could be located anywhere an Ethernet cable will reach.....up to 300+ feet or about 100 meters.
The other option.....not recommended and not convenient at all.....is to set up the Time Capsule......without an Ethernet connection and then have the Time Capsule provide a wireless network that would not have Internet access.
So, when you wanted to back up, you would have to manually "switch" to the Time Capsule network for that process, then once the backup was done, manually "switch" back again to your normal wireless network for normal operations.  A real mess, not to mention the possibility of wireless interference between the networks that may create other issues.

  • IPhone 4 will not turn on without being on charge.

Hello, Over the past few days my iPhone 4 has only turned on whilst being attached to the wall charger. I restored it through iTunes earlier, but I am still having the same problem. Has anybody else had this? Or know how to fix it?
As soon as I take the phone off charge, it dies again, even thought it is on 100% battery..
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

Your battery has probably failed. A new one is $79 at an Apple store.

  • HT204380 why dosent my iphone 4 have siri or facetime

I am having trouble accessing facetime and siri on my iphone 4. Can you help???

That's right.  There is no Siri on the iPhone 4 but it does do Facetime, but only when you're on WiFi.
One way to get to it is to open a contact and look at the bottom right.  There should be a button labeled Facetime.
The other person will have to have an iPhone 4 or newer (or an iPad w/ a rear facing camera) and be on WiFi too.

  • Can the iphone 4s have two different contact lists?

Can two different contact lists be created on the iPhone 4S?
    Rgginc

Yes, if you don't mind having separate e-mail accounts.  For example, you can have a set of contacts associated with iCloud and another set with Yahoo.  I suppose you could also have a set of contacts synced with your computer (e.g. Outlook) and another set associated with an e-mail account.
In any case, once you have multiple sets of contacts defined then you can choose to show all contacts, or just those associated with a particular account.
Just be aware that there is always a default account for new contacts (defined in Settings).  When you create a new contact they will always be associated with the default account.  If you want to enter a new contact but associate it with a different account than what your default account is, then you need to first change the default.
(Unlike having multiple calendars where you can change the account that an event is associated with at the time you create the event, there doesn't seem to be a similar ability to define the account for a new contact while you're creating it, only the global default contact account in Settings).

  • Can the iPhone 4S have 4G on Sprint?

    No iPhone 4S supports LTE.

  • Can your iphone send an arbitrary/random message after being restored?

    Ok...
I had someone's phone send me a text at 9:55PM.
When I asked them about it the next day they said they had no clue what I was talking about.  I took a screen shot and sent it to them proving that the text was sent.  They returned a shot that did not have the text in it… obviously it is possible for someone to send a text and then delete it, which would be why it does not show on your phone.
My question, as stated above because their excuse was they restored their phone and that is what happened - it must have sent the text… can that happen?  But even more curious is if they said they restored their phone, how did I get a text at 9:55PM when they were sitting at the bar??  Can you restore your phone without tethering to a computer?
Thanks in advance for any info.

"Can you restore your phone without tethering to a computer?": Yes
" it must have sent the text… can that happen? ": no

  • Can my iphone 4 recieve updates from apple without a sim or connected to pc

ive been told i will recieve updates this way

Doesn't sound right to me. When O2 unlocked my iPhone they just sent me a text message when it was done, which told me to connect the iPhone to iTunes.
Connecting it to iTunes actually performed the unlock and gave me the "Congratulations, your iPhone is now unlocked" message. I then stuck in a different SIM to check it had worked ok.
A few people have reported having to reboot or restore their iPhone for the unlock to "stick".
Which network is unlocking your iPhone? It should be the same procedure for all of them.

  • HT5070 If I download a tv season on my iPad can I download it on my friends phone without being charged again if I sign into my account on her divide

I have already bought the Season 7 of me and my friends favorite show I downloaded it on my iPad and I want to know if I sign into my iTunes on my friends iPhone if iTunes would then again charge me.

There is one caveat. The app still has to be in the app store. As LNG as its in the app store and you paid for it once you can download it again. Also before you download it check to see I fit has been updated. Many apps require a later iOS to run that the version you reported.

  • Why can't I login into my Apple account without being forced to change my password.

I received an email from Apple:
"The following changes to your Apple ID (xxxxxxxxxxxx) were made on 01 January 2015 at 17:52:54 (GMT):
    Shipping and/or billing address.
When I log on to check my Shipping and Billing address I am prompted to change my password, which I do NOT want to do.
I cannot go any further than the forced password change screen.
How do I check my account details without changing my password?
I am not happy with being forced to change my password. it almost makes me wonder if I have been redirected to a 'scam' site.

How are you trying to log into your account ? You can log into an account :
    - via the 'manage your apple id' button on http://appleid.apple.com
    - Store > View Account menu option on a computer's iTunes
    - tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on an iOS device
All three let you view and/or change your billing address, though only the last you let you view payment details. You could try one of the other methods and see if they let you login without requesting a password change.
This page lists the current requirements for passwords : Security and your Apple ID.
If you want to check your account's purchase history then you can do so via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, or you can view the last 90 days purchases via http://reportaproblem.apple.com

  • Can ARD fetch reports automatically across multiple partitions, without being in a particular partition?

I'm trying to run reports across multiple client computers that have data on 2-3 partitions per Mac.  Is there anyway ARD can report to me data across partitions and not just the current partition the Mac is on?  What I have to do now is restart into every partition and get ARD data off, too time consuming.
Also, where does ARD store it's reporting data?

Partitions are... old school. And it will interfere with Startup Disk, with OS X.
You could have used Windows 7 entirely and no sign of OS X (which can be installed and booted from external drives).
I like to use multiple hard drives: boot drive for system, another drive for data, and also backup, scratch etc.
If you use Windows 7 system image backup you should be able to restore any system in reasonable time and manner.
