Can a Movie be just a series of title pages?
I have a project that I have been assigned at work. I have been given a list of employees that I need to recognize their length of service. I was thinking of just a series of scrolling credits slides with added music (already created in garage band). Any ideas on a way to create an iMovie with just a series of title slides.
Am I over thinking this, or is it incredibly easy & I just don't see it?

so once done, I can adjust the timing of the slide & the scroll, right? I is as easy as just dragging to increase the length or is there more to it?
I thought I remembered in Im 5 (really the last time I used it) you had to create a 'black slide' to put at the beginning and then add the titles and such.
Maybe I should break down & read a book thanks for your quick reply & warm welcome. I hope I can get this done with little interruption to my weekend.

How can I change the running head on the title page only?
For APA formatting the running head needs to run throughout a paper, but only on the title page is it preceeded by "Running Head:". How can I change the running head on this page only?
Menu > Insert > Section Break
Click your cursor in the new (2nd) section.
Menu > View > Show Inspector
Inspector > Layout > Section > Page Numbers > uncheck Continue from previous section
Menu is the menu at the top of your screen when you are in Pages, or anywhere else on the Mac. very hard to miss.

Can't move icons in itunes APPS only whole pages move.
In the last IOS 6.? I could log my iphone into itunes, go to the iphone APPS and there I could move single apps or even whole pages around to get them like I wanted.
In iOS 7 trying the same situaltion I was only able to move whole pages around. When I tried to select a single icon to move, it still just moved the whole page.
I looked for instructions but found nothing on how to move a single icon from one page to another.
ThanksI finally figured this out. In itunes open the apps page and give it time to popluate for your device. Once the pages are there, double click on the page you want to deal with. Then click on the app you want to move (no dragging yet). It will appear as a single app which you can then drag and drop on the page of your choice. Works really well after you get the hang of it but no instructions or clues from Apple anywhere on how to do it.

Why am I not able to select just one line on certain pages of Adobe reader?
I can select and highlight just one line on most pages of a PDF in Adobe Reader 10.1.2 on a Mac OS X, but for some reason there are a few pages which make me select three or four lines. Why is this?
1. Was Lion on the machine and trying to downgrade?
2. If so this might be an issue. Newer machines are done for current OSX.
3. If you have Lion on your machine try to install Snow Leopard on another partition or portable HD
4. After you format and install SL on the other partition or drive Try to boot from this machine retarting and holding the Option key at boot up.
5. See if that work.
This is a trial and error way but Mountain Lion is right around the corner and Snow Leopard is 2+ yrs old.

How can I move an event in my calendar to my "completed" calendar without changing all the events in the series?
As Apple has yet to upgrade iCalendar so I can check off my events as I complete them (no, I do not want to use a task list/reminder list), I want to be able to move my events to my "completed" events calendar as I complete them. The issue is that most of my events are repeating events, and it changes the entire series. How do I change only the event I clicked on using my iPhone?
ThanksIf you change anything in a repeating calendar entry it will give you the option of disconnecting it from the series. So may any random change, choose to not change the series.

I just purchased a ipad 2 and have not sync it yet. I have an old pc and would like to move the itunes library account to a newer pc that I have. Can I move the library to the ipad and sync ipods to the ipad and/or move the library to the new pc?

But I must point out that leaving the iPhoto Library on the external is worth considering. Your internal drive would be better off without having to carry the photos.
When you booted with the external connected and you were asked for the library, did you try navigating to the Library in on the external drive? -
Yours sincerely! I just bought a Sony DCR-SD1000 camera only when installing the cd drivers not supported by the operating system Machintosh. I've contacted the seller said the store did not provide for the apple os. How can I move all the files on the camera the port out is to use a USB data cable to a laptop for my macbookpro can not read the contents of the file and the camera. Hi, do you know if this works if I then want to move my library to a new computer as that is my main intention bacause my old computer hasn't got enough space for me to add new albums so I want to ditch the computer (its got to be about 100 years old and doesn't seem to cope well with modern technology!!) and start using my laptop for my iTunes. I am at the point now where i'm ready to throw both my computer and iPod out the window!!!! I might point out as well that in trying to clear space on my computer I accidently deleted the Bonjour programme which is aparently needed to use the home share option, oops!!!!

i just bought a new mac book pro 13'' and i bought a toshiba 1tb hard drive aswell, i formatted it to mac but it will not show up on my tv so i can watch movies? and solutions or reasons why?
TVs don't support "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)", so you will probably have to use FAT32. To format the external drive, follow the same steps as you did to format it with "Mac OS Extended (Journaled), but in the erasing screen, select "MS-DOS (FAT)" as "Format". Note that FAT32 isn't compatible with files bigger than 4 GB. Also, you may have to format the external drive in a PC

My apple tv main menu no longer displays the "movies" section, just internet, computers, and settings. Does anyone know why or how to get it to show again? Recently rented a movie directly through apple tv but can't see the "movies" section in main menu now. WiFi and home sharing are working.

Check the location setting for the iTunes Store is correct.
You might also try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router.
If you are still having problems try a restore. -
I can't get rid of the message, n error occurred with the publication of album. It just keep coming back, and can't move around in IPhoto.
Okay, folks, after a 3 1/2 hour phone call with a (very patient) telephone support person at Blackberry, here's what I learned.
You can check your USB drivers this way:
Plug in your phone into your USB drive. Assuming your Blackberry is "seen" by your computer...
Go into the Device Manager on your computer (control panel)
Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers item on the bottom of the list
Right-click on BlackBerry Smartphone and choose Properties
Click on the Driver tab
Click on the Driver Details button
You should see one driver. I saw two. The one the BlackBerry likes is the RimUsb one.
So here's what NOT to do: We tossed the entire driver that was the "extra". This effectively made using my mouse and keyboard impossible, as they are USB, and sent my poor husband into the basement to find a million-year-old keyboard (and then a mouse) with the old fashioned kind of connectors (PS2). Bleh. Don't do that.
Here's what I did that worked (not saything this will work for you -- this modifies the Registry so better do a system backup with that backup and restore if you're nervous about this sort of thing):
From the start menu, choose run, and type regedit to get into the Registry editor.
Follow this file path: Computer, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SYSTEM, CurrentControlSet, Control, Class
Click on: {36FCE60-C465-11CF-8056-4445535400000}
If there's an item on the right called "UpperFilters", delete it. (see pictures)

Undoing 'Erase' option on Find iPhone
Hi. My iPhone 6 Plus was stolen a couple days ago and was turned off immediately thereafter. As a result I immediatedly activated the 'Erase' option on Find iPhone app. Is there any way to undo this option so that I can change it to 'Lock Mode' and s
