Can a prompt be created without any reference column?

Hi,
here is my requirement..
Prompts:

Tested in ==> should display 3 values as date1, date2, date1&date2 in a dropdown. This column is not available in any of the tables. I have to hard code it.
test Date1 ==> calender prompt
test Date2 ==> calender prompt
columns :
======
product
test date1
test date2
When I Select date1 in tested in prompt, the report should display values only for date1 and not date2. Likewise when date2 is selected in tested in prompt, the report should display values only for date2 and not date1. And when date1&date2 is selected the report should display records containing both date1 and date2.
The date columns are present in my fact table. It contains 48 million records. I have created tested in column in the BMM layer. when i pulled the same in dashboard prompt, its taking much time and the server goes down after some time.
If anyone has come across such requirement please let me know the approach

On a big backup, the initial estimate is often wrong and gets better after a little while. But, yeah, there is a "Stop backing up" command in the Time Machine menu, right? That is safe as far as I know.

You'd have to select in Sharing Preferences > Internet Sharing > Share your connection from ETHERNET, and to computers using AIRPORT.

According to the list, there is no driver for your printer included in OS X 10.7.
There are a couple of options:
1. Contact HP to see if they have a workaround.
2. If the model of printer is not listed but your printer is a PostScript printer or PCL Laser printer, try the "Generic PostScript" or "PCL Laser printer" drivers. Generic printer drivers may not let you access all the features of your printer.
I have not tried #2, but some people have had success.

You need to find out what type of video it is. What your describing is what you get when a Video codec (software that allows you to "see" the video) is missing, damaged, or too old for the movie.
Once you identify what kind of movie it is, then you can update the codec.

Can a quote be created without defining a Customer?

We wish to activate the Quotations process in SAP, but one of our business requirements (and I'm sure it is the same of many companies), is that the Quote can be created without having to create a Customer Master before hand.
Our company receives hundreds of Quote requests from potential customers, but not always make the sale.
We do not want to have to create a new customer master, just in order to create a Quotation for a potential customer. If we had to do this, we would have hundreds of "Customers" on the master that we never made a sale to for example ... and we don't want to clog up the Customer master file with this information.
Is there a way that we could just type in the potential customer's name and address information into the Quote and send it out to the customer for approval.
If they accept the quote and it is time to create a sales order, then at that time we would create the Sold-To Customer Master.
Any insight into this delima would be appreciated.

When the customer asks for a quote, enter the dummy customer & create the quotation.
Pls note that in a quotation you specify for what price you guve the materials to the customers & other applicable discounts. It has a validity period.
If you are sure that you are going to quote the same price & other details to all the customers, then you can use this dummy customer master.

I was thinking of something along those lines, something like a customer number OTUS (One Time US), or OTDE (One time Germany), with minimal information assigned to Customer Account Group "CPD". Then the person entering in the information could go to the Sold-To partner and change the name and address info.
Since the products we sell usually start in the $10,000 range on up, each potential customer can have any sort of specialize pricing. For these "One Time" customers we would have the regular Material price automatically default in (PR00) at just the material level, then any discounts would be applied manually.
I'm going to give this a shot and see what happens.

As suggested above, use table alias with columns for unique referencing and to make the code easier to read.

How can I re-install FF without any imports from other browsers?

I initially installed FireFox because supposedly it allows me to run Sky Go which sadly Chrome no longer does. When I did so, I thought it would be wise to allow it to import my bookmarks etc. However, since I was not able to run Sky Go, they suggested that I unistall FireFox and reinstall it without any imports, this I have now tried twice without success to do; hence this question. All help gratefully received and greatly appreciated.

I had to re-think the sequence of events yesterday following very helpful support from the Sky Go team.
Sky Go had originally been installed on my laptop because I used it with Chrome.
Sadly and somewhat unexpectedly, (like overnight) last week, Sky Go no longer worked with Chrome. My first on-line Chat with Sky revealed that this was due to an upgrade by Chrome and it should soon be once again available; however, after a week, when it had not been resolved I contacted them again. I should say that in the meantime, Sky Go continues to work very well with Internet Explorer.
Yesterday I downloaded and installed FireFox with the option ticked to import bookmarks etc. when Sky Go was still loaded on the laptop. However, upon the advice of the Sky go Adviser, I did uninstall both Sky Go and Firefox, and reinstalled the FireFox and the FireFox version of Sky Go and when this did not work, repeated the attempt. Again the adviser was incredibly patient and helpful. He put this down to the original installation of FireFox during which I exercised the import bookmarks etc. option; hence my question. Is there any way I can reinstall Firefox now without it remembering that I originally chose to include the import option?
In the meantime, I continue to use IE for Sky Go but think I would really like to use FireFox instead.
