Can a shape be grouped with an object?

Is there any way to group a shape such as a line with arrowhead to an object? The intent is that the line overlay the object and point to a particular part of the object and that both should move with the text without the relationship between them being altered. I can place the two appropriately in the first instance but seem unable to select both at once or to group them to prevent the relationship being lost when the text moves.

I'm glad you got it figured out & shared the solution. It will help others who come along. That didn't dawn on me at the time. It doesn't work to have one move with text & the other fixed on page as they are in different layers in the document.

Complelely independently, you have a Contacts app with a contacts list. It sounds like your contacts list has 3 names on it. You need to add a few names.

Object-group with network-object containing an IP address range

Does the ASA treat an object-group with a network-object containing a range of IP addresses as a netmask? For example, I can apply this configuration without the ASA throwing any errors though the configuration calls for a 'net mask':
object-group network test
network-object 192.168.0.0 192.168.63.255
network-object-group mode commands/options:
A.B.C.D Enter an IPv4 network mask
sh run ob id test
object-group network test
network-object 192.168.0.0 192.168.63.255
I found that in the documentation it requires a netmask as oppose to a range. Is this a bug in the code? I am running code version 8.0(5)23 on a 5520. If this is not a bug how does the ASA treat this type of configuration when applied to an access list? When I ran a quick packet trace and denied access from that range it looks like the ASA doesn't read that configuration properly. Thank you.

Thank you for your replies. In code version 8.0(5)23, it appears I am able to define a "range" of IP addresses as in:
192.168.0.0 192.168.63.255 as opposed to defining a range with a netmask like 192.168.0.0 255.255.192.0.
With the "range" of IP address applied to the "object-group network test" with sub command "network-object 192.168.0.0 192.168.63.255" the ASA does not pick up on said "range" when this object group is applied to a DENY access list. It only reads it properly when the netmask is attached, which is the correct configuration, as in: "network-object 192.168.0.0 255.255.192.0".
To clarify, I mean range as in 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.63.255.
Hope this helps to understand. I am just curious as to why this is even able to be applied in such a way or if it is a bug in this particular code version? I can also confirm that this can be done in code version 8.4(2). See below snippets of my configuration in the 8.4(2) code version:

Association of authorization group with authorization object

Dear Colleagues,
We are using ECC 6.0 system. There is a transaction EMMAC2 where in the user would pick the case categories & view/make changes as required in the cases.
However, we would like to have a user to pick only those case categories for which he/she is authorized & view/change the data.
This EMMAC2 is controlled by authorization object B_EMMA_CAS & this authorization object has field BRGRU (Authorization Group) along with ACTVT (activity).
We would like to control this via authorization groups
We would like to create authorizations groups based on case categories & those authorization groups would be assigned in this BRGRU field.
Meaning, the end result should be such that, when that new authorization group is added in BRGRU field & that role is assigned to an end user, the user should be able to see data only for those case categories for which the new authorization group has been created
If I use SE54 to create authorization group, it automatically associates itself with authorization object S_TABU_DIS & this does not solve my purpose.
But we would like to create a new authorization group & associate it with authorization object B_EMMA_CAS.
Can someone please let me know the steps on how to achieve it or any other method to achieve it(for above underlined text)?
Does a developer or functional consultant also need to be involved in this?
PS: I tried to search in Google & our forums but could not get any answers

Thanks for the help.
I created an auth group via SE16 in table TBRG & associated to B_EMMA_CAS
A case category was then assigned to this auth group
We tested it - below are the results:-
1. The user is allowed to 'change' and 'display' the case for the case category for which the user is authorized: this works as per requirement.
2. The user is not allowed to 'change' case for the case category for which the user is not authorized: this works as per requirement.
3. However, he is able to 'display' cases for the case category for which the user is not authorized: this we do not want.
If I remove activty 03 (display), then the user is unable to display the case for the case category for which the user is authorized.
How to resolve this?

Links don't work when grouped with a object

I am trying to create links on a element that will slide; however, when I group my link box to the image I created in Sketch I can no longer click the link. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you.

When objects are grouped, the group act as a single object, that's the reason for grouping. You can add a single link to a grouped object, but only one link. Any links added to individual objects will not action when they are grouped.
If you want to link to multiple slides, you will need to keep any objects that include a link, ungrouped, I've never found a problem doing this.

I can no longer create groups that contain subgroups??

I used to be able to create a group, drag existing subgroups and individuals into that group, and send emails to all by simply typing the group name into Mail.
I can no longer do this.
Now, to be precise. I can create what looks like a group and by dragging existing subgroups into it -- but it no longer functions as a group. When I type the name or drag it (from Contacts) into the "To:" line of Mail, the only thing that shows up are the top-level individuals (i.e., those who I put dragged in as individuals, not those who are only in one of the subgroups that I dragged in).
If I create a group that only has subgroups (i.e., no individuals at the top level, only individuals who are members of one or more of the included subgroups) then after I type the group name in the "To:" line of mail, the group name dissappears, and nothing appears in Mail's "To:" line.
The actual behavior is a little more subtle than this but the bottom line is that I can no longer create groups with subgroups.

If you list the steps you have taken to fix this it will help.
Have you tried using the File > New Event menu item?
Have you logged the user account out/ restarted the computer?
Have you tried un-syncing any accounts synced to Calendar?
Is there some change made to the computer that may have triggered this?

Looking at it again I wonder if the ParentVO is needed even, there is a strong relationship between these three objects. An order has a customer and a customer has an address / an order has a billing/shipping address...

Can I set the stroke of an object to be on top/in front and the fill on the bottom/in back? I asked this question before and was told to go to appearance and drag the fill and stroke around as if they were a layer, but this did not bring my stroke to the top of the image. Did I do this wrong somehow or is there another method?

The default stacking order for an object with fill and stroke, such as a simple path, is that the stroke is on top and the fill is beneath it.
You may change that in the Appearance palette, but it should not be necessary.
Can you show a screenshot with the object and the Appearance palette and the Layers palette with the relevant (part of the) Layer expanded and visible?
If things are really wrong, you may start considering going down this dark road:
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Why can't I group a Media Placeholder with another object anymore?

In the previous Keynote, I was able to set an image as a Media Placeholder and then add another object or image and group them together. This was handy as I create themes for my agency to use to make it easy to display a variety of iPhone design mock-ups in device (without needing to constantly arrange so the mock-up fits perfectly inside the screen).
In the new Keynote (for Maverics) I can't do this anymore : [
Also, I noticed I can't group text with any other object anymore either. Seems like a step back to me.
Is there any way around this? Or a way to submit to Apple for consideration to bring the feature back?

Read group membership for a user object and populate every group with matching user from another domain

I have LON\JSmith in LON domain and DEL\JimSmith in DEL domain
I would like to extract group memberships of LON\JSmith in LON domain and append matching by email (i.e. DEL\JimSmith) user object in every group in LON domain.
for instance
LON\JSmith and DEL\JimSmith is the same person and has same email address [email protected]
LON\JSmith belongs to 3 groups - LON\localadmingroup;LON\univdesktop;LON\globalsurvey
The outcome of the script should be

I have tried tying all these groups together in multiple ways but cannot figure out how to do this. This what i think it should be "access-list outbound_access extended permit object-group obj_Meraki_outbound object-group obj_Meraki_lan object-group obj_Meraki_pub"
What i want is the use the service objects and the source network would be obj_Meraki_lan and destination would be obj_Meraki_pub. It seems the rules completely change when you use object groups. Can someone explain this maybe with a few examples. I am already using object groups in many acls but not for every element.

Also have used such configuration in some special cases where the customer has insisted on allow specific TCP/UDP ports between multiple networks. And nothing is stopping from adding ICMP into the "object-group service" also.

If you've been backing up to your local iTunes library, check your APPS pane to see if you have an older version of Shape stored locally. If you do, you can delete Shape from your phone, connect your phone to your computer, and drag the older version from your iTunes library onto your device. That's what I did to go back to the older version, which produced shapes that work much better for my purposes.
Adobe, it seems like with the newest version of Shape, you made DRASTIC changes to the way the app processes images into shapes. Is there any way for us to opt for the older version of processing? Or to toggle between the two?

How can I update an already saved "bookmark all tabs" group with a current group of tabs? Or add only the changes??

I open that group of tabs in a new browser window.
Then I modify that group of tabs that I have open, adding new ones, removing old ones.
How can I replace the existing tab group with the new tabs?

You can't do that.<br />
Each time you use "Bookmark All Tabs" a new folder is created, even if you give the folder the same name, so you will have to do any merging yourself in the Bookmarks Manager or just create a new group and discard (delete) the previous group.
If you want to share bookmarks online then you need to use a web based service that offers such a feature like Delicious.
