Can a text list of image titles be generated from LR

trying to produce a list ( text) of image titles from LR to generate a scoring sheet for club competitions. Any advice on how most appreciated.

Editable text box on each page, but generated from Master Page?

I want to create a blank text box that lives on the Master Page so that it shows up on each page in the document, but I then would enter custom text into the field on each page ( or just leave it blank).
I know, I know, I can do simply copy a text box from one page, and paste in place on all subsequent pages... or set it up once on a page, then just keep duplicating that page... or some other work around. But simple as those work arounds are, I'd just like a blank text box show up automatically on each page as a master page item, then I can enter text as a see fit and not have to do any duplicating tricks. I've looked up a few tutorials, but none solve for my need.
So I guess the real question is, does InDesign allow the content of a master page text field to be individually edited on the pages of the document itself?

It's bet to NEVER use the override master page items command since it overrides ALL master items. That's like using a wrecking ball as a flyswatter. And you don't need to put random text in the frame either (especially since you said you don't want to use it on some pages, though it might be best for those if you create another master without the frame). To override any master object hold Cmd (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows) + Shift and click on it with the selection tool.

IMovies 3.0.3, Can't 'text edit'. Only 'titles' available.

Can't do a different title for each photo? I'm trying to do a simple slideshow of still photos. I can enter a 'title', but it applies it to all the photos. For an individual photo in 'Title' mode, 'Update' button is gray.
Should I update iMovies? 'Software Updates' says I have no updates. iMac, Mac OS X, Version 10.4.11, Processor 1.33 Ghz, Memory 1 GB. Thanks!

iMovie 3 - is the most problematic version ever (most bugs) - So in Your case I would try to buy a second handed iLife 6 (Cheque spec. that it works with Your Mac first))
There are no - free up-dates to any version no. higher
Apple - do not sell anything but latest version - and it will not work on Your Mac
Titles - is tricky and You have to tell step-vice how You try to apply it to Your Photos - as this most probably is where things goes wrong.
Else - when any version of iMovie behaves strangely - Trashing the iMovie pref file - when iMovie is not running - forces iMovie to make a new error-free one on next start-up - and very often this helps.

Can't add list element when calling a method from another class

I am trying to call a method in another class, which contains code listmodel.addElement("text"); to add an element into a list component made in that class.
I've put in System.out.println("passed"); in the method just to make sure if the method was being called properly and it displays normally.
I can change variables in the other class by calling the method with no problem. The only thing I can't do is get listmodel.addElement("text"); to add a new element in the list component by doing it this way.
I've called that method within it's class and it added the element with no problem. Does Java have limitations about what kind of code it can run from other classes? And if that's the case I'd really like to know just why.

RoboHelp 11 - Text box over image does not generate to Word

Hi All,
With RoboHelp 11 and Word 10, I am trying to emulate an existing cover page for our company, which has a gray background image and a blue text box with the document title and version number. I created a topic with the background image, then placed a positioned text box over it. I added blue shading to the text box and the white lettering for the title and version. When I generate Word, the text box and text inside it do not show up in the Word output. Is there a way to get HTML > Insert features like text boxes to appear in the Word output?

I would create such a cover page in Word and insert that document in the print layout.

How can I work on same image back and forth from LR 5 to PS CC without constantly creating copies?

I make basic corrections in LR then "edit copy with changes" in PS. Once I save it back to LR it shows as a second file marked Edit. How can I go back to PS with that file to work on it again? I don't want a bunch of numbered copies, I want one final copy with as many changes as needed.

It depends on what you're trying to accomplish. I process all of my film scan images in PS initially for crop, dust removal, content aware fill and other "destructive" pixel editing. I then import the files into LR and do most of the tone and color correction with LR. Many times I need to edit the image back in PS to remove more dust spots with the healing tool or content aware fill, etc. To do this I use Edit in PS and choose 'Edit Original.' Of course I don't see the toning and color adjustments made in LR, but for these types of changes it really doesn't matter. After the PS changes are made the file is saved from inside PS and appears inside LR with the new PS changes applied AND the LR adjustments applied.
You can use the same processing workflow with ACR, PS, and Bridge, but then you lose all of the other features available inside LR.

Kneil31, I do not understand what you are saying? From the iPod you can text an phone with a third-party app like text+. You may have to pay to do that though.
Also as wfpIndiana says, you can typically go to that person's carriers site and send a text from the site.

Can't create text on this image in PSE10

This has got me stumped. There's something strange going on with this image. I downloaded it from the Web, and can't create text on it -- text that's visible. The text layer is created (I can see it in the Layers palette), but no matter what font, size or colour I use, the text does not appear on the image. I've re-saved the file in PSE10, and as another image in PhotoPaint X5 (which can create text on the image just fine) to no avail. Here's the image that was saved as another image in PP, but still doesn't work with the text tool in PSE10:
It's not an important image, just one I use as a test case, but it's driving me crazy.

Aha! I figured it out. I used File...Open As to open it as a Camera RAW file. In the ACR editor, it was showing as 16-bit depth. Changed it to 8-bit and saved it. Now the Text tool works!

Is it possible to use photoshop to batch export a large list of titles from XML or some kind of text list?

For example, a website uses a lot of images as H1 titles for things such as 'My Account' & 'Downloads' etc. I have a large text list of these. Is there a script or plugin, that will take this list a given a selected size & type face, produce images as cropped down GIFs.
The correct size is the size of the title. For example, create a new document -> type some text -> hold down cmd and click the T on the layer -> this will create the selection, and select crop from the image drop down. That's the size I'm after.
I can create an action to do the bit above, but I'm unsure of how to feed the text in to photoshop 1 title at a time. I've looked at the jQuery Sifr plugin, but the idiots want to use images

text list of my iTunes library.
I'm curious why this hasn't already been added as a feature?
The export library command is not what I'm looking for. I just want something that generates a .txt without all the XML mumbo jumbo.

If the library is big, it takes forever to collect the text, but you can try it out on just the first 50 tracks by un-commenting (or deleting) all the "counter" lines I added.
It would be nice to have it write directly to an untitled TextEdit document (especially if there's a lot of text to copy/paste), but I'm a beginner with AppleScript so I don't know how or if it's even possible.

@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!

How do you set up so that you can view the alternate text on an image when you hover over it like you do in IE?

Using Mozilla at present the alternate text for an image does not pop up when you hover your mouse over the image. This is what occurs in Internet Explorer. In Mozilla Firefox you have to right click, choose Properties and then you can view the alternate text. Is there a way to set up the mouse hover? Or is there a keyboard shortcut to at least view the Properties information of an image on a webpage quicker?

The Alt attribute isn't meant to show as a tooltip on hover.
The Alt attribute is meant to show if the image isn't or can't be displayed.
The title attribute is meant to show if you hover an image or link.

Text List Highlights Area of an Image

Hi All,
I have an image of a printed circuit board with many components. I would like to help people find those components by having a text list to the right of the image, then if you click or hover over the text, the component is highlighted in the circuit board image.
Another way of looking at it: I have a map of the United States with an alphabetic list of states to the right. When you click or hover on a states name, the state is highlighted on the image.
What is important to note is that I'm not hovering over the image. I'm string help people locate something on the image by having an alphabetical list that will highlight something on an image so they can find it.
How would I do this? What CS6 product do I even start with. I assume dreamweaver? Can I do this with a CSS rather than JS?
