Can Adobe After effects cs5 work with Premiere Pro CC
I have a project I created in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and updated to Maverick which cause Premiere Pro to crash constantly. I downloaded Adobe Premiere Pro CC and was able to reopen the file however all media edited in After Effects cs5 shows media offline even though I am able to open up After effects and access the media fine. Is there a way I can bridge them together. It seems the after effects media is still connected to Premiere pro cs5.
Dynamic Link usually only works with the same version (the same suite) of the software. You can render your AE assets into a production codec and replace the dynamically linked compositions with the rendered files.
Alternatively, install AE CC (and manually install the required 12.0.1 update to run on Mavericks) and resave the files in your CC version. (This will only work if you have a CC subscription, the update won't work on a trial version. When the 12.1.0 update is released, you will be able to run that trial on Mavericks.)

Everything goes smootlhy until i try making additional changes to the animation.
Here's my problem, since this process requires echo to achieve the effect. I try and set an independant camera motion from the text as it extrudes outward. But...once the text begins its animation and the camera starts to move the echo or the extrusion is ALWAYS...ALWAYS altered by the camera. (The path of the echo is follows the path of the camera.) Whether it's in a x, y, or z path it still occurs.
Sure i can change the camera angle and view it from a different perspective stationary, but i can't get them to move independant paths from each other without thecho being altered as well.
IF ANYONE OUT THERE IS A WIZ AT ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS PLEASE PLEASE RESPONDPre-compose the layer, then move the camera. Won't give you correct perspective, though. After all, Echo is simply a 2D buffer accumulation, not a 3D extrusion.

Adobe After Effects not working with Mavericks?
Great. I knew better, but I watched the **** presentatiuon, and "upgraded" tyo Mavericks. Now I get this when I try to open After Effects
I have the latest After Effects. I'm on a deadline. I'm ******.
D'oh. At least I backed everything up.
Hope anyone else using After Effects reads this before upgrading.This update is ONLY FOR MAVERICKS. You can't update through Creative Cloud, to prevent users of other operating systems from installing it.

Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 / Adobe After Effects CS5
Hello,
I am working on a file using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5. I want to make the title in the file shatter like glass. I believe you would do that using Adobe After Effects CS5, but I am unaware of how I would go about it. Do I need to open up the whole file in After Effects, or would I open it up in Premiere and export it to After Effects. Once I have accomplished that step what is the easiest way of making the effect of the title shattering like glass?

MarkYour memory is ill configured, since you are using it in dual channel mode instead of triple channel mode and 8 MB is about bare minimum. You would be better off if you were to increase memory to 24 GB. Secondly, your disk configuration is the absolute minimum requirement, so adding a couple of disks will help performance as well.
I am not even using heavy footage. It is footage off of a Canon 5D Mark II h.264

You could try the PPBM5 Benchmark to see how well your setup performs. -
Hi I'm thinking of buying Adobe After Effects CC for my MacBook Pro. But I am worried it won't work. Here are my specs 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5, 4 GB Ram, 1333 MHz DDR3,13-inch (1280 x 800) are my displays and I'm up to date with latest software. I need to know if this will work on this Mac and or if there is any other After Effects that will work.

Help, can't install Adobe After Effects CS5 (trial)
I tried to install the trial version of Adobe After Effects CS5 trial version and it doesn't work, when I opened the setup application it was all working fine until the installation, it went for a little bit then stopped and came up with an error message. I'm not sure what's going on, some people on other forums say you need to turn off antivirus and run as administrator but it still doesn't work.
Details of my computer:
RAM: 2GB
Disk Space: 230GB HDD (approx.) 147GB remaining
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo
T5450 CPU 1.66GHz 1.67 GHz

Premiere Pro cc 2014 do not import After Effects composition. Inside Premiere Pro CC 2014 is not possible call back After Effects, is not possible to work with After Effects. Thank you
You haven't given us much to go on here. What exactly are you doing and what exactly happens when you try? Which specific version of each program are you using? (Go to Help>About...)
On a side note, a simple, brief thread title is all that's needed. Something like "After Effects Issue" would be fine. You don't need the full question there. -
How compatible is Motion 5 with Adobe After Effects CS5.5?
If I create a project in Motion 5, am I able to export this project so that it is natively importable into Adobe After Effects CS5.5? Thanks in advance for any feedback.
The two will not read each other's project files. You could try an XML export, and import that into AE. Audomatic Duck makes translators for this type of stuff.

I currently just downloaded the free trial of "Adobe After Effects CS5" and I am wanting to render some video which I added some colour correction to.
When I put this in the render queue and press render is says "You mus have at lease on render item queued in order to render". Also it says on status "Needs output"
How come this is happening, do I need to buy the full vision.

You can only buy current versions and that means CS6. Your only chance to get CS5.5 would be a used license from someone else, but even then you would have to do a proper Transfer of Adobe product license.

I have the Adobe Design Creative Suite CS5 (Photoshop CS5, Illustrator CS5, Flash CS5, Dreamweaver CS5, InDesign CS5, and Fireworks CS5) and was going to order an old copy of After Effects CS5 for my iMac. However when I was about to order on an online store, I notice that there is a CS5 and a CS5.5 version for After Effects. I would like to know which version is better and if I get Adobe After Effects CS5.5 version will I be able to intergrate with CS5 versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash?

There is no reason to be concerned about using After Effects Effects CS6 with Flash, Illustrator, and Photoshop CS5.
