Can AE still be downloaded as a trial? Where?

Efforts to download an AE trial, if there still is one, go nowhere -- the link goes to a CC page instead, and AE isn't even listed on that particular page.

My concern is that if she ever switches jobs and deactivates this work iPad from her account, will I still access to the apps? Work has purchased iTunes gift cards to be used to purchase the apps. Can't I just set up a new account without entering a credit card number?

It's probably best to go the gift card route. If she downloads the app using her ID, the app will always be tied to that ID. The app can then only be updated using her ID.

If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click "iTunes Store" in the left navigation pane. Hi, original poster here. I did not realize this would generate more discussion so I never checked back. I still had my warranty, so I took it to the store and got it repaired. The original problem I had was a screen with this icon flashing when I attempted to boot it up:
When I took it to the store, they told me that my computer was unable to communicate with the hard drive. I had this same problem three times in two months where this screen reappeared. Each time I went back to the store and they said the cause was different, but they were all hardware issues that physically made it impossible to communicate with the hard drive. After the third time, they simply replaced my laptop and I haven't had the same problem.
So in short: The reason you can't reinstall or move anything when you encounter this screen appears to be because nothing can communicate with the hard drive in the first place. You can't reach the disk or anything on it. So I don't believe it's possible to do anything besides take it to a physical store and have it fixed.

Where can I find the download page for trial versions of Lightroom and Photoshop for Mac OS 10.6.8?
It's so hard that Adobe has no contact form, no way I can see to contact them. The help is not helpful to me, it's more like an FAQ. So I'd also be interested in knowing how their customer support is from anyone who has had to use it. They don't have any obvious way to contact them for pre-sales support. When I see that I get suspicious that you will get no help once you hand your money over.

i just became a member of creative cloud, and everything looks brilliant, but when i, logged in, want to download a free trial of photoshop, adobe wants be to become a member of creative cloud....i am a member, logged in to the same page, why can i not just download the free trial? or, more correct: HOW can i download the free trial? and yes, it looks like you can do it on the creative adobe page, there are buttons for that, but all they want you to do is reinstall creative clouc installer...

It is not clear what application you mean when you say Adobe 9 Pro Extended, so it ois not certain if it is available for you to download. If you can diownload it, it will only be valid for a 30 day trial unless you already own it and have a serial number to activate the trial with.
You can search the following site and see if you can find the trial version to download... this site is the only likely place you might find the software available for download.
If you find it there, be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site or else the download will not work properly.
