Can AEGP draw in composition window?

The built-in tracker draws squares(track points) in a composition window.
How can AEGP do the same?

What’s mean „re-propagation” ? so just click on freez button ? or it’s more complicated ? I freez many times, but it still doesn't work properly ? I also watched you tube tutorials and I thing I do everything in the same way, like in tutorial and i have still probleme ... sorry I’m a beginner in after, thx for your patience

Can´t draw on Dell Latitude 10 - Windows 8 ???

Hi guys,
i have a pro version of Dell Latitude 10, it´s a tablet with a touch screen that works fine.
I can even launch paint and draw with my finger, but when i install photoshop cc as trial, i can´t draw anything.
What should i do ? Is there any special drivers needed ?

Today I too noticed favorite links that had previously been deleted reappeared. After finding list thread and reading @Paulio999 reply I did the fallowing
to solve the issue, because I keep all my web browser's, computer's, and device's favorites synced.
Open iCloud control panel on all computer you use iCloud on.
Under bookmarks-Options, un-check Internet Explorer.
Click OK button
Click Apply button
Close iCloud control panel
On one iDevice open Safari.
Open Bookmarks
Delete all bookmarks
Select done
Close Safari
On your Windows machine under C:\Users\-user name-\Favorites
Delete all the links that are no longer wanted
Open iCloud control panel
Under bookmarks-Options, check Internet Explorer.
Click OK button
Click Apply button
Close iCloud control panel
Your favorites should now reappear on you iDevices and any changes you make from your windows machine to your IE favorites should now work correctly between your devices.
I tested this on two Laptops, one tower, an iPhone5, and an iPad3.

     After Installation the Version 64 Bit couldn't work because of this
sentence (Windows 7 has 64 Bit Version). The 32 Bit Version worked
without problems. The next day both versions didn't work because of
this Informatiom. Bridge and Camera raw workinjg perfect but photoshop
(CS 5) is blocked.

T-Bird keeps automatically switching from composition window to main window while I am typing, which leads to typed letters being interpreted as hotkey commands

Since I switched to Windows 8, I've had this problem with T-Bird. Updates and safe mode have not fixed it.
Basically, while I am composing a mail, t-bird automatically switches to the main window. Because I am in the middle of typing, it usually freezes for a moment, sometimes longer and goes transparent and a (Not Responding) appears, but usually unfreezes and then interprets all the intervening keystrokes as commands. All sorts of damage is done: messages deleted, threads hidden, sometimes a "go to last unread message" box appears. It's a real drag.
I thought it might be a keystroke combination that is making the program change windows, but I'm fairly sure I've seen it switch when I just have the composition window idly open. I think it may be switching whenever T-bird checks for new mail.
One thing to mention: I often switch between US English keyboard layout and Portuguese language layout. I haven't systematically tested whether it happens in one or the other, but the POR layout has some accent marks here and there. still, I've been careful not to accidentally touch the CNTRL key and as I say, I've seen it switching while idle.
Any help is appreciated. It's getting to the point where I can't really use T-Bird any more and am sadly looking for alternatives.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Composite windows and Fle dialogs

Hi everyone,
I am working on a GUI object of type Composite which has a text field and a (Browse) button. It has been programmed so that when the user presses the Browse button, a file dialog opens up. Now the problem that i am having is that after the file dialog opens up i am still able to bring the Composite window, sitting in the background, up front by clicking on it which i don't want. I have tried using the setEnabled() method on the Composite but it just disables the browse button and the text field, but does not completely block the user from the composite window since one can still bring it up front. Is there any way to achieve the following functionality?
The user clicks browse the file dialog opens and as long as the user selects the file the file dialog is active and the composite window in the background remains inactive, once the user has selected the file the composite becomes active again.
This is just like if, in your Internet browser, you click file->open and out pops the web address input window where you type in the web address of the web page you want to visit. During this time you can't click on anything in the background unless and until you close the web address input window. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

As suggested above if you are using JFileChooser then
is is automatically displayed as a modal dialog.
If you are creating your own FileDialog, then you
need to make the dialog modal and specify the JFrame

Mail composition window expands off screen

If I reply to an email or create a new email and start to type the email address, the composition window extends about 75% off screen. Does anybody have an idea of what is causing this? I do not believe I have changed my settings and have not installed any new software.

I take it you're talking about the dropdown panel in Rules panel in Mail > Preferences, when you click Edit?
You must have a rule with a whole lot of conditions and/or actions.
What is your screen resolution?
I just experimented a bit, and suspect it's a bug, not "bad design". I notice as I add lines, and the panel approaches the bottom of the screen, the scroll bars appear, so the panel quits growing, as it should, but only 2 lines after they should. It looks to me like the height of the tool bar isn't being considered properly.
If that's what you're seeing, report it that way in the +Mail and Address book+ forum. If others see the same behavior, one of the top posters there may be able to report it, or you can call AppleCare and they can tell you how.
I doubt this is a condition many folks would see, so it probably hasn't come up often, if ever.
If I misunderstand what's happening, please clarify.

White background in composition window while rendering

I've got some footage that, while rendering, the composition windows background (not the comp background) turns white. I think remember from somewhere that this is a sign of a codec issue? I can't seem to find the correct search criteria to find this information. Anyone know if my recollection is accurate?

I think it's an OpenGL thing. The video buffer gets corrupted (I think?) I get white borders or this:

A restart of AE usually fixes it. It's purely cosmetic. Everything renders fine.
You mention ProRes, so you're on a Mac. The Nvidia/ATI drivers on Mac have always been notoriously funky.

How can I draw in Photoshop CS6 with a touchscreen?

I recently got an Asus Q551L laptop with touchscreen and running on Windows 8.1 and cannot use the touchscreen to draw in Photoshop CS6. I can use it to choose a tool but when I drag my finger across a layer, it does not draw unless I start in the gray area surrounding the image. I have tested a few programs including Microsoft Paint and Illustrator CS6 and I can start drawing in the middle of the image like what I wanted; it's only Photoshop with this problem of not being able to draw unless I start at the edge. So how can I fix this?

Photoshop relies on the pressure sensitivity that is so popular with the Wacom tablets. This means that it ignores the capacitive pen when drawing. But seams to work fine for other features like accessing the UI buttons. I am not sure how this helps you since I do not know what pens will work on your screen. But maybe this will at least point you in the right direction.

Strange lines/guides in composition window

Can someone tell me how to get rid of these lines in my composition window. I'm not sure what i hit, but they appeared and now I can't get them to go away. They even show when all the layers are turned off. See screen shot. Any Ideas?

Does Composition window settings affect final render?

I know this is a totally lame question, and I'm about 99% sure on the answer, but I'm still going to ask...does the quality settings in the Composition window affect the final render? For example, if my composition is set to 50% (size) and Half (quality), this would not affect a final, full size, uncompressed render, would it?

No, work settings for composition viewers do not affect final renders if the comp is added properly to the render queue. The only thing influenced is the "RAM preview" quick-save output module and render settings which can be used to dump already existing rendered frames to a movie file.

Drawing Inside a Window

OK, so this is driving me insane at this point and I really need to figure out how to get it to work. If I can figure it out then I think I might need help with one more thing and after that I will hopefully be able to produce something. Also, a full blown explanation will help, since I keep putting off programming then coming back to it. I'm not fresh on everything and I'm an amateur to begin with anyway. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here's the problem.
I have a document window, called "Window" in this case and a NSMenu called "newLoanMenu". What I'm trying to do is get the menu to draw INSIDE the Window by clicking on an NSButton button inside the window. I remember being given some code that does this, but I've been looking at it for a while now and it honestly isn't helping me at all.

It is easy, what you do is in IB put in a pull down menu and the image of the button you want to pull the menu down. Then hide the pull down menu and create a connection from the image to the pull down menu, in the connection pane just use Perform Click. Then once you click on the image, it automatically drops a menu down for you.

Is there a way to open multiple windows in firefox 5.0? I can't do it from windows quicklaunch and the right click"open in new window" does nothing.

Yeah, not much more to say. Since I upgraded to firefox 5.0, I can no longer open multiple windows. Multiple tabs work, but I don't like tabs. Please help.

I hate the new downloads-in-a-tab scheme. This was an unnecessary change in my book (if it aint broke, don't "fix it").
So in order to get it back, I performed the about:config browser.download.useToolkitUI change, but now all I get is a blank download window that pops up every time I download something.
Is there something else that I need to do? I've checked the change and it was saved, but it didn't resolve my issue as much as it just caused me a new issue.

I cannot open a pdf file with aol e-mail. I went to preferences in Adobe Reader but did not know what to enter for Incoming IMAP and outgoing SMTP. I can open pdf files from windows explorer as I have associated .pdf files with adobe reader. My operating system is windows 7.
When I try to open the pdf file within aol e-mail I get a message: 'Your security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded'. I have not changed my security settings (Tools, Internet Options, security).
