Can Airport stream 1080p video?

Hey i have a airport extreme 4th generation and I am trying to stream 1080p mkvs from an attached external hard drive on my mac to my wd tv live but the video keeps stuttering. Just trying to rule out everything I can to fix the problem. Can my airport handle just high bitrates? I have 25mbps download and 4mbps upload to the internet with a 11ms ping. I am using samba3 via macports to share the drive. Do I need to get a better router for streaming 1080p or is the router not the problem? Thanks in advance.

Using the native youtube app, I simply cannot stream 1080p videos. I have an Internet connection of 220mbps down link, and whenever I select 1080p, it gets stuck buffering. If I switch to 720p, it streams perfectly. I know it's not a connection issue, as I can stream 4k on my laptop from YouTube. Can anyone help me?

What happens when you try to back up ? If you are getting an error message then what does it say ?

Can I stream live video from mobile to fms using flashlite?
I Know flash lite 4 also not access the mobile camera. But, I need to develop a application it captures the mobile camera and stream the vedio to fms server and display the live event to other mobile users.
Is it possible?
If possible what are the technologies i can use?

i have made a few test with Flash Lite 3.0 and Flash Media Server 3 and I have to say that it is pretty easy to stream FLV Video files and Live Video from local web camera to mobile phone. Here are a quick instructions how to do it in Windows (I will publish Linux version later).
Play FLV-video from Flash Media Server 3:
Install Flash Media Server 3 (download developer version)
There are a few sample FLV files in applications/vod/media folder, so you can use one of them for testing
Create a new Flash Lite 3.0 file in Flash
Add a new Video symbol to library
Drag this Video symbol to Stage and give instance name to it: video
Type following programming to timeline:

You should see your live camera in Input screen
Press Start-button to start sending live video to Flash Media Server 3
Create a new Flash Lite 3.0 file in Flash
Add Video symbol and programming as you did earlier

Ipad 4 can't play 1080p videos

Hi,
I am using an iPad4 running iOS8.3. I recently discovered that iPad4 cannot play (and not even display) my 1080p video taken using iPhone 6 in the photos app. However, when i used a software to downconvert the above video to 720p, iPad can play it. Next I did another experiment, I then tried to convert the 1080p video from .mov format to .mp4 (DivX) format - same resolution. Similarly it could not be played.
This lead to the strange conclusion my iPad4 cannot play 1080videos in the photos app?
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

I know this question has been asked many times, but I just cannot find a solution. I need help please.
I have searched for tutorials and questions and they all say to export the video through quicktime. It could be done by clicking share, then choosing quicktime. But the thing is I do not have that option on my iMovie app on my MacbookPro.
Once I press share i have the options to share on Theater, Email, iTunes, Youtube, Facebook, Vimeo, CNN ireport, and saving it as a file.
It shows that 1080p could be an option, but I am not able to pick 1080p as an export on any of the options to share shown above.

I was in the same boat at kiril. I wanted to export a .mov file. What you can also do is select the clip, then select "share" it will bring up a separate menu. If you select to email the clip it will create a file on your email application. With the email open you can then right click on the file within the email and select "save to downloads folder".
Within the downloads folder your file will be listed as a .mov file. Move the .mov where ever you want it to go.
OR you can select within the email when you right click "save attachment" and select where you want to save the .mov file.

I have Apple TV connected to my tv and internet. I am trying to show camcorder video which is on my computer onto my tv. Have only succeeded in showing stills. What am I doing wrong

iTunes and the Apple TV cannot play AVCHD and it needs converting to a format that they can play.
AVCHD is a recording format it is not optimised for playback which is why it is not supported by the vast majority of devices and not just the Apple TV.
There are a number of software converters you can use, but I'd be inclined to recommend iMovie, which is extremely easy to use and would allow you to do some editing before you export to another format. Of course you can vary the amount of editing you do, you don't have to do any, you can simply cut out the bad bits or go the whole hog by adding titles and the like.

37mbps but can't stream TV/video!

Hi, I'm on infinity and have issues that seem to be getting worse. My speed tonight shows 37mbps down and 9 Mbps up, which is about the advertised. But trying to stream video or catch up TV is becoming increasingly difficult. Video stops and starts and is unwatchable, its so frustrating! BT sent us a new hub a few weeks back but this did not resolve the matter, any help appreciated. Thanks.

Are these all 5 GHz devices?
Have you split the SSIDs on 2.4 and 5GHz so you know what your connecting to?

Can stream movies; cannot stream live video to Apple TV

I have a new Apple TV and a 3rd generation iPad. I can stream movies to the Apple TV, but I can't stream live video (through Camera app), nor can I stream or mirror presentations from Keynote. I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?

Nevermind- figured it out. Streaming movies does not require you to activate mirroring. Presenting Keynote presentations and live video DOES! Duh....

Can I stream youtube video from my macbook pro (OS X 10.9.2) to Apple TV? with same HD quality, similar to iPad and iPhone.
The built-in AirPlay feature is not satisfactory and gives poor video quality.
There might be some kind of plugins for Safari or Firefox than allow to switch to Apple TV, but I couldn't find any.

I just want something exactly similar to what happens in an ipad/iphone, just one click and the stream would be diverted from my macbook to the apple TV directly from the my internet modem
