Can an In-Design placed image change during the exporting of the page to PDF?

After exporting a spread to pdf in In-Design one of the images had been replaced by another which was on the same spread although they had completely different names. The image was correct in the In-Design and when the same spread was exported at a later date all images appeared correctly in the Pdf. Any ideas?

InDesign will never change an image with another one on PDF export.
But what kind of file type are you using?

Depends on the version of InDesign. Starting in CS3, if memory serves, you can put a frame on the master page and pre-set the fitting parameters, or assign an object style that includes the fitting options.
Anything you place into such a frame would honor the fitting options you set.

Hello Experts,
I have one doubt about the Vendor Reconcilation account change during the document posting.
Is there any way/possibility to change the vendor reconcillation account during the document posting, for a particular vendor.
If is there any chance please let me know the way how to change it and also letme know the impact of this.

The System always takes the reconciliation account stored into the Vendor master data.
Technically it is possible to change reconciliation account in vendor master record as follows:
1) SPRO -> Financial Accounting -> AR and AP -> Vendor accounts -> Master Records -> Preparations for Creating Vendor Master Records -> Define Screen Layout per Activity (Vendors) -> Change Vendor (Accounting) -> Company Code Data ->
Account management -> field 'Reconciliation account' set to 'optional entry'
2) Then system will allow you to change reconciliation account in vendor master record.
In general you can only change recon account when balance is zero.
"By changing the reconciliation account in the open item master record the proportionate values from the items open at the time of change are not posted to the new reconciliation account.
Hope this claifies.

You can set the equalizer from the View menu, which will affect any songs played in iTunes.

How to prevent embedded images falling off the page

I have embedded images in a multi-column document. It's great to have the images flow with the text, but sometimes they flow over the edge of the page. Is there a way to set the keep options so that embedded images stay on the page?

Again, I'm going to ask what behavior you expect for this? Where would you have that image move? If what you want is for the entire paragraph to go to the next page, you are using the correct mothod by adding a keep option that will keep sufficient lines together to match the image height. Adding the keep within the top and bottom boundaries of the column (rather than the page) for inline anchored images might be useful if it behaved like a keep option forcing the containing paragraph to the next page, but not so good if it pushed the position of the image up or down relative to its anchor point.
What you are learning is that anchored objects are extremely useful, but that they are problematic when they fall at the bottom of a column. You almost always need to som manual editing to accomodate the odd case.

Admin can see changes to the page, but User cant see the changes.

Hi All,
I am a brand new SharePoint admin for a school. Faculty/Staff access the site collection as well as the students. Faculty and Staff have higher rights than the students, and can add content as well as view them.
As the site collection administrator, I have added a html webpart and added html code to a subsite. (the code is simply hyperlinks that route to a different page when clicked, nothing complex).
I made these changes and can view them properly as the site collection admin when I check in the site. I then signed out as the site collection admin, and signed in using a dummy student account. I went back to the same page where I made the changes, and
cannot see them.
The url of the site is the same for both administrator/student.
Please see photos for a better understanding.
I want to edit the subsite and make these changes so everyone can see it.
This first image is from the administrator's perspective. (As you can see, even the top navigation bar is different as well)
This second image below is from the student's perspective. (You can see the hyperlinks don't show, and that the top navigation bar is different)

Hope you have checked-in and published the page...
If you don't publish the pages, your students may not see the changes.

When on=line banking, or checking my cell phone bill, I can't download my statement or phone bill, the page will pop up, but will remain blank. No problem with I.E. What setting needs to be changed???

When I'm on a secure site, like my bank, or my cell phone account, I can't download my bank statement or cell phone bill. If I click on my bank statement, it will take me to a page with the list of my statement months. When I click on a month, another page will appear that says "about blank", but then nothing appears on the page. I'm guess it's a security setting, or a proxie setting, but I don't know which, or what to change it too. Help?? If I use I.E. (which I hate to use) everything works okay. Same problem if I try and download my cell phone bill from Verizon. Thanks

No I don't have any firewall that I know of that could affect the Desktop app. I have reviewed the link you sent across and the results are as follows:
1. Make sure you can connect to the internet.
Yes, internet is all good... no problems here.
2. Make sure that you can access secure sites:
Yes, I can access secure sites as tested by the example in the list (https://www.adobe.com).
3. Check your hosts file.
Test successful after going to: https://lm.licenses.adobe.com
Moving on to reset the hosts file...
I've followed the instructions and I get to "Select the hosts file and open it".
If I simply double click, then the default is to open in TextEdit.
Once open, I go to find File > Save As, but it only says, "Save a Duplicate" and then once I save a duplicate, I don't know where to save it because the Save window only shows the basic folders and I don't know how to get back into the /etc folder from the Private files.
More instructions please, if possible?

I experienced similar behavior (neither Keychain Access nor Safari would start, Chrome cannot access https sites, etc.). It got fixed by following instructions in this article:

Basically remove the ~/Library/Application Support/Ubiquity and restart. OSX will create a new one with the right permisions.

How come when I copy and paste an image I opened in gimp to a background I have in gimp the color of the image changes to the color of the background?

Ok, im on gimp. I opened a picture of the simpsons tv in one project. I cut it out and tried to move it on to another project where the background is a gradient blue. Whenever I copy the image over, the image instantly becomes the same color as the background. Help please??

Perhaps it has a fill color of "none", and the background shows through.

How do I add an image already in the page to a slide show ?

It seems so simple: I have a couple of images already spread out on a page, but later on I decide to collect them into a simple slide show after all. So I drag this Slide Show widget into place, and now ? Yeah, I know, I should use the button to select new images into it, or drag them as files from my Finder onto the Slide Show. But I already have them sitting on my page ! Isn't there a quicker and better way ? I tried copying and pasting in a lot of ways, and I can change the existing (three) sample images, but it's not even so easy to do it. Anyone ?
BTW, I know I could use Compositions, and at least they offer a simple + button to add extra instances to the widget. But I'd like to these plain vanilla Slide Show widgets in this situation.

Doesn't work in Google Chrome either.
Looks that the page has a lot of protection measures (context menu is disabled) and DIVs that overlay each other, so it is possible that the print routine only sees an empty DIV and not the image or the real page.<br />
That big image consists of two parts as you can see via Tools > Page Info > Media and the inspector.

Display Image and Download the same in PDF

Hi...
We have requirement to display the Image of materials in the Web using the Web Dynpro ABAP.
We have the images in web server and URL for each image.
Once the image is visible in the web, user shoud be able to download the output in PDF copy with a button click in the screen.
The PDF output should be as in Web Screen output.
Can you please share how to achive this requirement using the Web Dynpro ABAP?

To display an image, simply use the "IMAGE" control in webdynpro.
To export to PDF, several options can be considered.
For example, try out the "INTERACTIVE FORM" control and embed your images dynamically into the form, or display the image in an ALV and use the PDF Print Preview function of the ALV.
