What is the problem when a new Iphone(replacement for a blacked out 4g I phone) begins to act weird? The phone is placing a period after every word, types words it wants to type, not what I type, and all I have typed suddenly begins to disappear. I do not want to start over again. I have not recovered all I have in the Icloud from the last phone, though I back up everything every day. I am ready to get a throw away phone. please help!

No, as long as you want to share the same account for iCloud's services like Mail, Calendars, Contacts, Reminders, Notes, iCloud, Documents etc.
I personally would create two accounts so that everyone could have and use heir own mail account, address book, create meetings, reminders etc. without reading and deleting stuff of the other person.

The settings profile should also support downloads as I would like to download and allow it when I am on WiFi but not so much when I am using my cellular data.

No, this is not possible as the sandboxed nature of iOS would not allow any app to modify another app like that. Such a feature would have to be enabled by Apple as a part of iOS itself. You can submit feedback to Apple about the idea if you wish to.

What information is required to find out? As of Friday. ny i have not been able to acces yahoo mail via iPhond 4S, It ony tead, server not found can not connect> I changed password via PC and then updated it on phone. I cab can now see mails, but nothing past June 11. The c\losest email that can be found on both screens, is an email dared 6-12 on PC but 6-11 on phone amd it has NO CONTENT! Please note that this email came from a close relative who has educaton, training and exoerience in the computer field! I also hace a lock on my phone and it never leaces my site, Is that enough infornation?

To turn on Thai keyboardin your iPhone with iOS4.0.2++, follow the steps below.
1. Go to settings
2. Select General
3. Select Keyboard
4. Select International Keyboards
5. Select Add Keyboard...
6. Search for Thai
This should add Thai keyboard to your iPhone.
In order to use Thai keyboard during text SMS/MMS,
Tap and hold on the lower left where there is a "Globe" like icon. You should see a small window with a selection of keyboards available. Without letting go, run you finger (still holding to the globe like icon) to Thai and you should be able to start typing in Thai.

I just got this new MacBookPro and I'm trying to get use to it.
But I'm having this problem with the password required to install softwares.
Sometimes when the password window come up, the keyboard doesn't type the exactly letter. I mean, I choose "u", and I get "g". This only happens when this password is required. When I'm working all day long on a different kinds of sotwares I never get this problem.
Can I have a virus or something??
I'm also working with Parallels Desktop (with Windows XP) where I got to delete it a couple times because of virus. So, is it possible that I got a virus from the windows????

Well, you probably already read from the others that you don't have to worry about a virus for the Mac side of things.

Now..., on the other hand, the Windows environment (-itself-) can be susceptible to those Windows viruses. It won't spread over into the Mac side of things, though. It may mess up your Windows environment that you're working in. But your Macintosh computer will be working okay.
I do have an Anti-Virus program. It's call VirusBarrier from Intego. And it runs in the background (if I want to run it that way) all the time. Well, I've had it running for close to a year and have never heard one single "peep" out of it, for anything. Today was the first time it squawked at me.
Apparently there was some web page that had a file that it wanted to download and it was an infected file. However, it was for Windows. VirusBarrier still gives a warning, even if it has nothing to do with the Macintosh.
The item in question was -- "W32.DNSChanger.Gen". It's something that apparently can cause your computer to redirect to a fake web page for some financial institution that you have, so that it can take the information and steal whatever, from it. But, as I said, in this case, it was something that worked on the Windows side.
By the way, Intego also has a product where it will protect both the Windows and the Macintosh sides. You might check that out, if you're concerned.

Can my iPhone spread a virus to my Internet?

I've recently purchased a phone from Ebay and they did not give me the passcode to the phone and he seemed kinda suspicous. So I restored and wiped the phone using iTunes on my computer. Since I connected the USB to the iPhone would it be possible for me to get a virus on my computer and spread through my WiFi. The phone was locked at all times and I not sure if the iPhone was Jail Broken or not. Unless you can tell after resetting it, after resetting it, i do not see cydia so does it mean it's not jailbroken because I heard if you have a Jail Broken phone it's possible to get a virus. It's a iPhone 4.

The thing is that I do not know if the phone was jailbroken in the first place. Is there a way to find out after I resetted the phone? If I reset the phone will the Jail Break still be there?

How can three iphones have seperate icloud accounts, but share itunes?

I hope someone can help me with this question; ok here goes... I have an iphone 4s, one of my daughters have an ipad (we both share itunes ID), recently my two daughters were given iphone 5s'. Ok the problem is that one of them connected to itunes without me setting up their phone to my account, she mistakenly hit the reset button without backing up her phone. I understand that there is no way she can get her contacts back... the question is this.....I understand if she has her own icloud Id she keep her contacts and etc. separate from ours. my question is when we try to remove my e-mail and id from the icloud it won't work..... is there away to create different icloud ids? I don't want to have to create a new apple (itunes) id we want to continue to share music and apps.

Yes. You can share the same ID for iTunes and create separate iCloud accounts with separate IDs. If fact, that't the recommended approach for families.
You should also use separate IDs for iMessage and FaceTime to avoid getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls. Just use the same IDs you use for your iCloud accounts. If you're sharing the same ID now for these services, one of you should go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a separate ID. Then do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.

Can I have one phone number work simultaneously for two phones? I'm always forgetting to take my phone with me, and would like to keep one permanently in my purse. The idea is to keep my old iPhone4s and buy an iPhone6, but assign both of them the same phone number. Can it be done?

As @Csound1 mentions Google Voice, I will mention that my primary phone number is my Google Voice number. It is set to forward all of my calls to my cell, my home and my office simultaneously. When I answer on any of them it drops the remaining connections. It can also send and receive texts (and forward them to my phones), and it transcribes voicemail to text and emails the transcript to me. There's an iPhone app for it. When you make outgoing calls with it your GV number is what appears in Caller ID. It can also record calls and make conference calls. There is no monthly charge for using it, and it is free for incoming calls and outgoing calls to the US and Canada. International calls are phenomenally cheap, typically 2¢ per minute. When you sign up you get to choose your number, including choosing your area code.

When I'm on a Wi-Fi network, I don't notice much but the battery draining a little quicker than normal. Once, I leave my Wi-Fi zone, my Torch is transmitting like crazy, and it often kills my phone. My friends went on a XXX site as a joke and now I can't even go on the internet when I type something in it comes up with BT FON virus and I can't get off it. Unless your iPhone was jailbroken, you do not have a virus. Go to the Safari area in the Settings and clear the History and Cookies and Data, then go to the Advanced section and clear the Website Data. Then launch Safari and see if it now works correctly.
If that doesn't help, go to the Reset area of the General settings and reset the Network Settings. Then connect to WiFi or 3G and try again.

Its a complete scam. There are no know viruses for iPhones at this time.
Additionally downloading something over Safari is a clear indication its a scam as you can only download and install applications from the App Store and nowhere else, and Apple screens all Apps submitted to the store before allowing them to be published.
Currently there are no Anti virus Apps either because due to the nature of the operating system, all they can do is scan emails on demand. That is you have to manually initiate the scanning process because Apps cannot access the general phone file system to scan nor can they access the files from other Apps.
