Can an LCD from a 1.33GHz PB be used in an 867GHz 12" PB?

I have found an LCD salvaged from a 1.33GHz 12" PB. Will it work in my 867GHz 12" PB?
iMac G5 1.8GHz, PB 12" 867GHz Mac OS X (10.4.4) 1Gb memory

The guides at http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/ are almost better than the official apple ones the AASPs use. Unfortunately their guide shows how to remove the display but not how to remove the LCD panel from the display.
Did you remove the LCD panel without first removing the display? Doing so is possible but I think you would have a much greater chance of damaging something accidentally.
At the very top of the back of the LCD panel there is a long circuit board that sometimes is covered with white tape/platic and sometimes with clear. Sometimes it has tape saying not to touch. Just don't touch that circuit board and you should be fine. Another issue is when removing the 4 screws holding the silver foil cover on the back of the LCD panel. There are cables for the airport antenae and mic that run around the edge of the panel. I've seen lots of those cables have the plastic worn off of them by the screwdriver when removing/replacing those 4 screws.

I assume that you want to keep the same Apple ID on both devices for downloads and purchases but you just want to know how you can use Messages on both devices without creating a new Apple ID.
On one of the two devices ....Settings>Messages>Send and Receive at>You can be reached by iMessage at>add another email address ... and enter another working email address. After you enter the email address and it is verified by Apple, go to the InBox of that email account, read the email from Apple and follow the instructions to complete the verification. Then go back to the settings and remove your Apple ID email address. You will now use that new email address at the contact at email address for messages on that device.
You can keep your Apple ID email address and use that one on the other device.

Can't scan from HP 7520 Printer for iMac using Yosemite 10.10.1

We have a new iMac that is running on Yosemite 10.10.1. I am trying to get the scan from printer function to work, but the HP window on the printer didn't register the computer.
So I downloaded and installed the driver for OSX 10.10 from the HP website. The window on the 7520 now lists the computer when I click the scan function, but the scan fails, and the window says the computer is not connected.
The name on the downloaded file says it is for "Mavericks," so I thought maybe it dosen't work with Yosemite?
When I open the printer scanning settings on the iMac, it tells me that the "enable scan" function isn't working, and that I need to download the latest software from HP.
I thought I did that.
Is there a way to make this work?

If the problem still there, need your help below:
1. How do you conenct your printer(USB, Wireless, LAN)?
2. Which scan application you are using (HP Scan, Image Capture)?

Can Station Gloabals from different versions of TestStand be used with TestStand 2010?

I have an older version of TS - ver. 4.01. I just renewed my subscription and have 2010 now. Can StationGlobals from one version be copied directly into the cfg directory of a different version? It appears to work, but I want to make sure there are no underlying problems.

Seems like you have answered your own question. When TestStand closes it will update the StationGlobals.ini file so if you were going to have any problems you probably would have seen it then.

Can't print from Firefox 3.6.12. Using Mac OS 10.6.4. No problem w/other apps.

Not able to print from Firefox. I can print from all other applications, including Safari. 13 others have listed this as a problem on the Support pages, but there has been no response.

I did as benshaine posted in his thread here: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/789780 I installed Firefox 3.5.10 to my desktop, printed from 3.5.10 and then went back into 3.6.x and I could print.

no you will need to create a new id for one of the devices because you are not able to facetime yourself with the same id for some reason probably has to do with communication issues but the accounts are free so just create a new account on one of them

Please enable Speakers in Playback devices as follows:
1. Right click speaker icon (right hand corner)
2. Select Playback devices
3. Right click Speakers
4. Enable it
5. Click Apply/Ok

You cannot.
The USB port on the AirPort Express allow sharing a printer with Windows and Mac OS X, not with iOS:
"Wireless printing over USB requires a compatible printer and OS X v10.2.7 or later, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7":

Can't Scan from HP Officejet 7580

Can't scan from my HP Officejet 7580. Use to work just fine, and I have not changed anything I can think of that would affect it. Now I get message "Unexpected Internal Error Has Occurred". I did all the suggested solutions...checked all connections, reinstalled software, rebooted, disconnected/reconnected, and also verified Ditigal Imaging Monitor is active. Nothing helps.

I can't print wirelessly from my iMac although it is connected to the same network as the printer and I can print fine from my iPad to the same network

I have downloaded and installed the driver from the HP website for the HP Envy 5530. While I can send documents from my iMac to the printer using a USB cable, it will not print wirelessly. When I tried to install the wireless connection, I got the dialogue box saying "Devise not reachable" and it suggested I check whether the iMac is connected to the wireless network (it is and the signal strength is excellent, Safari runs well) and that I check the printer is connected to the same network (it is). I am able to print items from my iPad wirelessly using the network so I don't understand why the iMac won't recognise the printer wirelessly when everything else works fine.

From the Safari menu bar, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Advanced
and check the box marked
          Include Bonjour in the Bookmarks menu
if it's not already checked. Then select
          Bookmarks ▹ Bonjour ▹ Name of printer
A web page served by the printer should open. Does it?

Hi! I recently finished my free trial in PS and I now want to buy it. I use photoshop for drawing, editing my drawings, working with layers etc.
Is the 'photography' pack enough? Do i have full acces to PS with it?

If out of warranty and mechanically inclined, you can get parts and how-to at www.ifixit.com.
The 4 Series are relatively easy to open and service, I've replaced batteries on two 4s. The 5 Series are a nightmare.

Hi. I can't capture from my cannon video camera to FInal Cut or iMovie. ANy help would be greatly appreciated. I don't think my iMac is recognizing the camera. I was told I don't need a firewire, that USB would work if I'm just capturing. If I need a firewire what kind (the one I was sold didn't fit). Forget USB for capturing from tape. USB is only for stills from a Tape Based camera.
You require a firewire cable.
The camera connection end will be four pin and the Mac is nine pin to the 800 port.
Ask for a 9 to 4 pin firewire cable. Sounds like you have the wrong one as they can also be 4 to 4 or 4 to 6 pin!!
Also you will need the correct Easy Setup in FCE so FCE talk to the camera, exactly which one depends on what type of footage is being sent to FCE from the camera during capture.
