Can any computer programs save/play DVDA (24bit/192k or 96k PCM) or SACD ?

Are there any stand alone music players (Mac computer software) that can handle playback of DVD-A (24bit/192k or 24bit/96k PCM) or SACD quality files ??
Since iTunes is limited !!!!
I know a number of programs that can record at 24bit/96 PCM but what can play it back.
I have a number of SACDs and records I would like to record at higher bit than iTunes can handle.

I was curious if there are any other programs that play HD movies downloaded on itunes? I know I can use Quicktime player for SD movies, I guess it isn't designed for HD. I know you can watch the movies in itunes, but was wondering if there are any other programs that I could use as a stand alone?

Can any computer use 2.4 and 5 ghz?

I need to change the frequency of a router and computer. can any computer use both frequency? I know about the router, but not the computer.

Most very recent computers will have wireless cards that use both bands.. if you don't know look up the specs on the computer.
But cheaper end will still be 2.4ghz only. And a lot of older stuff will be 2.4ghz.. because it has better range and is more compatible.

Can any computer "activate" an ipod?

Yesterday I had a strange occurrence with my IP. I went outside to take a walk and tried to get my ipod music going. The IP appeared to "lockup". Rather that taking the slow route, I decided to do a force shutdown and reboot. When it rebooted, it came up with the "ipod needs to plug into itunes" request.
So I put it in my pocket and when I got back from the walk, I plugged it into my MB and it came up with a message that said something like "IP is activated". From then on, everything was back to normal.
The reason for this post is that I DON'T take my MB on trips anymore as I have a netbook for that purpose. I do ALL my syncing/maintenance with the MB. I just installed iTunes on my Windows netbook. I realize I can only have one computer syncing with the IP. However, if I get my IP in the same bind where it needs to "plug into itunes" to reactivate, can I do that chore with my netbook even though I have no intention of doing any syncing. I would only do this to get my IP working again.

Yes, you can. After confirming activation (iTunes checks your iPhone info against the carrier database), it will attempt to delete your media content, but you can cancel the sync.

hey all. i'm not sure if this post goes under the iTune's forum but i don't know where else to ask. so here goes...
I have some lectures that i wanna listen to at 2x speed. The only way i know is to load up bootcamp and listen to them in windows media player. its kind of a hassle. the wmp for mac doesn't play them at all. i also tried to use quicktime and increase the audio speed but it makes the lectures indiscernable.
any thoughts??

You can force quit applications

Can I save a project on a flash drive with the videos that are in the project and edit on any computer with premiere pro?

I am trying to edit a home and school and need to edit all the time. Can i save my project file on my flash drive with all the videos and use the flash drive for editing on any computer?

IF all computers are on the exact same build of PrPro. Understand of course that if everything of the project is on one flashdrive, performance in playback & etc. with much in the way of effects or tons of cuts is going to be ... s l o w . But perhaps doable on say a school project, which probably doesn't have the total assets of say a season-length tv sitcom.

Have you authorized the Computer to your Apple ID?
If not, sign on to iTunes.
Then got to the Store menu option at the top of the screen (CTL+B if it is not showing), and click on it to display the dropdown, and select Authorize this computer.
If that doesn't work, then sign on your Dad's iTunes ID and repeat the Authorization process.

It does not happen if Firefox is not running (i.e. it does not start by itself). The OS is Windows 7 SP1 and this begun after installing the Firefox update 5.0.1. Exactly all programs are updated with the latest version, the computer is clean according to Microsoft Security Essentials. Please solve this problem.

Right i have built a pc for the kids but when i try to get it to run it locks up randomly.
Spec
80 gig seagate baracuda 7200 rpm
Amd Athlon 2800 XP CPU
Copper King Cpu Fan
512 DDr 400 Mhz
DVD Rom
DVD 106 RW
ATI 8x AGP 9600 Radeon Pro
Latest drivers for all the above where aplicable are installed.
The machiene seems happy to back up data to the dvdrw and happy for general video play back and editing as well as spread sheets etc. But when it comes to game play the pc just locks up. I have tried another card and another cpu and mother board and on all occassions the symptoms persist. So i can rule out any bads componenets. The only thing i hav'nt changed is the ram but i did use a proggy called docmem which runs from a floppy and checks the ram which it was happy with.
When it crashes my cpu temp is arround 56o - 59o i thought this may be high but according to sources this temp plus alot more should not cause instability.
I got this reading on 2 seperate delta k6 lsr boards as well as 2 cpus ??
Any one any ideas. I'm stuffed and it's supposed to be a xmas presant for the kids but it wo'nt be much good if they cant game.
Is their anything else i should be doing as i dont belive that 2 boards 2 cpus can both be faulty.

Perhaps you could try the usual stuff, I suggest you start with no 5 or 6, as the other then will be natural:
1 Are all cables properly connected: power cables, IDE-cables, sound etc
2 Are the units set as master and slave if applicable? Suggestion, keep harddisks on a separate IDE connection, No 1.
3 Are there any hard ware conflicts? See Control Panel/System!
4 Have you tried entering 'Safe Mode, if applicable, where you can see and remove surplus hard ware?
5 Try minimizing your system, and install just one unit at a time! Time consuming, I know, but rather effective.
6 What does the BIOS say about the installed units? Are they correctly acknowledged? Press Delete (or whatever) during start-up to enter BIOS.
7 Can you reach Windows Update? Microsofts knowledge base might also be useful.
8 Have you had backgroun programs running while installing software and drivers? Common problem when updating. The only thing you really, really need is Explorer, but SysTray is also recommended.
9 Run MSCONFIG or applicable to see what the computer thinks it should load and be running. There you can also remove programs to start automatically.
Hope things work out! Remember that its as easy to do a mistake as it is to forget it.

No. Unlike some previous non-YouView Humax kit you can't copy the programmes off the YouView box.
That being said:
There is bound to be some incredibly complex and very expensive way to play the programmes to some copying device that circumvents HDCP copy-protection but to all intents and purposes that's a no.
If you do want to copy programmes then some alternative non-YouView box would be required - e.g. a Humax HDR FoxT2 - in which case see: http://www.hummy.tv/forum/
Many of the programmes will be on the various players - BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, etc. so that might be the best bet to watch on laptop with the caveat that most of these don't support off-line viewing - although BBC iPlayer does for many programmes.
Failing that buy a PVR stick for your laptop, connect to an aerial and record direct to your laptop.

How can I resolve: cannot save any type of image in Illustrator CS6 on Windows XP SP3?

I have a user who is on Windows XP SP3 and he cannot save any images in Illustrator CS6. When he selects eitheer of the save buttons, the location window comes up but nothing happens after that. We have given him admin rights and permissions for the computer and Illustrator, the UAC is off, we have deleted the pref folder, and we have done a reinstall of the software . Other users can log onto the same machine and Illustrator works fine for them, but; this particular user, who is the primary user of the computer, cannot save his work using the program. How can we fix this

Flush out temp files and check disk permissions and quota. He may simply be running out of local storage space.
