Can any one help remove error message Apple SyncNotifier.exe_entry point not found

Hi I have a nano ipod and a microsoft computer and every time I boot up the computer I have the above message? which I have to delete off the main screen.
Can any help me to stop the message coming up ?
Cheers
Phil

Do this: Go to My Computer, then local disk(C:)/Program Files/Common Files/Apple/Apple Application Support then right-click SQLite3.dll file and select copy then go back to the Apple folder then select Mobile Device Support then right-click on the window(not on the files in that folder) and select paste to add that in the folder.
Hope this solves your problem. It did on mine. It's like the exact error message I had on the iTunesHelper.exe issue and it was solved from the message that was added in the forums by an Apple representative.

  • HT1923 I can´t reinstall itunes. I updated and after downloading the latest version and installing it the error message: "apple aplication support was not found. it is required to run itunes. uninstall and install again. Error 2

I bought an iphone 4s. After plugging it via usb to my computer itunes demanded to update version to 10.3 or higher. I uninstalled itunes, downloaded latest version (11.0.2) and during installation process on "activating services" it shows error message: "installation failed, verify administrator priviliges" which i have because i sign in as my pc administrator. I click on ignore and it tells me itunes has been succesfully instaled but when i try to run it it shows the error message: "apple application support was not found. It is required to run itunes. Uninstall and install itunes again. (which i have done several times) error 2 (windows error 2)." Someone please help me with this problem. Thanks.

Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

    Hi texasslagle,
It sounds like you are having issues installing iTunes on your Windows 7 PC, a frustrating situation I am sure.
There is an article that you may want to use to try to complete your install here -

Install 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and use one of them to extract the contents of the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe installer file, then try installing AppleApplicationSupport.msi as a standalone component. Even if it won't install you may get a more useful error message as to why not.

At my PC startup, I get an error message "AppleSyncNotifier.exe--Entry Point Not Found"  My iPhone now doesn't show up as a Device in either iTunes or My Computer on my PC. I've uninstalled/ reinstalled iTunes & run diagnostics-no luck. Ideas?

I think my problem is fixed now.
For the fun of it, I reinstalled iTunes 9.2.1 today (using the exact same installer as I did yesterday), but this time I didn't uninstall iTunes first. As expected, iTunes recognized my iPhone (as I expected it to, until my next reboot).
A few minutes later, Software Update showed up and among the updates is "iPhone SDK Compatibility Update". The description indicates that installing this should fix an issue where iPhones and iPod touches aren't recognized by iTunes. Isn't that interesting?
I installed that update and most of the others waiting for me (including Java, Safari 5.0.1, and a few others - not 10.6.4 though, due to the issues with nVidia graphics cards). After the reboot, I started iTunes, and it saw my iPhone!
So, if you're having this same problem, I'd recommend tracking down this update and see if that does the trick for you. Hopefully it will.

  • Unable to Reinstall iTunes - error message: "Apple Application Support was not found"

When attempting to update my iPhone today, my iTunes would not open.  I followed the instructions to completely uninstall iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, and Apple Applications Support.  I then attempted to reinstall iTunes, and everything went perfectly until I attempted to open iTunes.  When attempting this, I am receiving the message "Apple Application Support was not found.  Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes. After updating itunes, I get the message iTunes.exe-Entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point AVCFPlayerEnableHardwareAcceleratedVideoDecoderKey could not be located in the dynamic library AVFoundationCF.dll.
Then another error message tells me: iTunes not installed correctly. Please reinstall.  Error 7 (Windows error 127). I've tried to repair which looks successful until I try the desktop shortcut as well as going into the exe file in program files. Still the same message.  Operating a windows XP service pack 3 with 32 bit. Help would be most appreciated.--No problems with itunes until this recent update.

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)

    No problem.
You can either get it via Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update" ... it'll appear in the "New programs" section) or by downloading an installer from the following page on the Apple Website:

Hi Molly - I can tell you're frustrated and I will do my best
Can you tell me whether you have a 32bit or 64bit system. You can find out in the following way
    Windows Vista or Windows 7
If you have Windows Vista or Windows 7, there are two methods to determine whether you are running a 32-bit or a 64-bit version. If one does not work, try the other.
Method 1: View System window in Control Panel
Click Start, type system in the Start Search box, and then click system in the Programs list.
The operating system is displayed as follows:
For a 64-bit version operating system: 64-bit Operating System appears for the System typeunder System.
For a 32-bit version operating system: 32-bit Operating System appears for the System typeunder System.
Method 2: View System Information window
Click Start, type system in the Start Search box, and then click System Information in thePrograms list.
When System Summary is selected in the navigation pane, the operating system is displayed as follows:
For a 64-bit version operating system: x64-based PC appears for the System type under Item.
For a 32-bit version operating system: x86-based PC appears for the System type under Item.
If you have a different OS (operating system) let me know which one and I'll tell you how to find that out.
Once I know I should be able to give you the fix.
    Cheers
