Can any other email programs use OSX Address Book?

I'm contemplating moving to another email application. Am rapidly heading towards critical mass on things driving me nuts about mail.
Do any other email programs let you use OSX's address book?
OR
Do any other email programs let you sync their address book/contacts with a mobile phone?
I really don't want to have to keep two separate lists of contacts up to date.

I recommend Gyazmail out of the mentioned alternatives that can use the OS X Address Book. I've tried and tried to like Mail, and it definitely has some pluses with the add-ons but it just doesn't cut it in the end. Maybe one day Apple will read people's recommendations for Mail and actually implement them.

Hi,
I have just purchased a car and it has a nokia 6210 hands free kit fited into the car. It works as I have hecked it with a friends mobile phone, however, will this kit work with any other nokia mobile phones?

If it is a genuine Nokia cark-91 then you can buy a ca-55 converter lead & a new cradle, however there are lots grey areas to wether or not you car kit will work with the new phone that you get. My advice would be to invest in a new car kit, it wont cost you much more and you will be able to guarantee compatability & hopefully it will serve you for future phones but dont hold your breath.

Want to notify my large entire Apple Address Book of contacts of change of email address.
Used to be a notify preference in Address book? No longer there.
Also, when I paste my addresses into an email via Address Book plug in, message completes but server ultimately doesn't send.

Any working Email Program for XM5800?

Hi,
I keep getting "Mandatory server policy failed, access refused." when trying to configure Mfe. Now at a point where i am looking at selling my XM5800.
I tried to ask our exchange admins to reduce the security, but this level is already basic and would be too risky for any organization to go below this level. I have an E61 and everything still works fine on that, it is able to access my mails and everything.
Is there any workaround, or any other email program that works for XM5800, Road Sync is Coming Soon and OMA is too Native. Please Suggest....

Nokia Messaging is apparently in Alpha for S60v5 - it just depends if you're prepared to wait. It seems like Nokia are holding back on upgrading Nokia Messaging until they release the touch version, so this may work in your favour. Check this link out:

I have 4 latest Macs All have iDVD. The question was not where to get iDVD.

I appreciate your input but it realy does not answer the question. iDVD will soon not be able to work with newer versions of Macs as it has been left behind by Apple!

My mac wont send emails from yahoo or any other websites when using an external USB modem! I have checked the settings and they seem correct. Can anyone help? I do not have snow leopard. I can log on my email accounts, open my incoming emails (with difficulty coz it asks me to "try again" ) but I can never send emails, I always get: "sending is taking a little long, try again".
What is the problem? this is a hair puller !!!

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.

Try logging out of the CC Application and restarting your computer. Also, try running the CC app as an administrator.

This may because the attachment is a winmail.dat file. I would recommend taking a look at the article below for more information. Note: the article is written for OS X mail, but does also apply to this situation.

Levi G B ... Also found another thread by Davidfromsurfside on 10/14/11 0703A with the same problem. I responded on his thread "I have the same problem. IOS5 on iPad1, iPad2 and iPhone4S all with iCloud on. Lion 10.7.2 installed on my MacBookPro and iCloud set up/on. Any new iCal entry on either iPad or on the iPhone ends up via iCloud on both iPads and iPhone. BUT NOT ON THE MacBookPro. And iCal entry on the MacBookPro does NOT GET SENT to iCloud.com or to either iPad or the iPhone. This is a huge problem for me because I do all my office scheduling on the iPad or iPhone but rely on the MakeBookPro to print out daily client lists. I REALLY need to get this fixed...it is causing major business issues. " No one so far has had a fix.... :(

one is gmail, one is a university email and they are both IMAP accounts (not that I know what that means)....

Hi there, I have mail set up using my mobileme address and account. It generally runs pretty well but i have one contact who can never open my emails. Upon opening all he gets is a spinning beach ball. He has no problem with any other emails only mine. And, as far as i know, none of my other contacts experience the same problem. Even if he forwards the email to another of his colleagues sharing the same office my emails remain unable to open. Is there something i should try changing in my mail settings to fix the issue?

Getting iCal or any other calender program on windows vista

I have a few calenders on my computer but none that are compatible with my iphone 3g. I was wondering if someone could tell me a website where I can either get iCal or any other calender program for my laptop to sync with my iPhone. I have a dell Windows Vista laptop.

iCal is a Mac/OS X compatible program only.
The only calendar app that is compatible with the iPhone for syncing calendar events with XP and Vista is Outlook 2003 or 2007, which is also compatible for syncing contacts. You can access you email accounts, contacts, and calendar events with one application, but Outlook isn't free.
