Can any phone type be emulated in Device Central?

I'm just starting out on Mobile App development, and I'm trying to make sense of it all.
To test the application process, I created a very simple Flash file, 550x400 pixels. One button click changes from one frame to another and moves some text on screen.
Exported it as an swf file from CS4, with actionscript 3.0 chosen.
I've tried emulating it with quite a few Nokia, Sony/Ericsson, Motorola devices, and as of yet, I can't find ANY phone that will emulate this file in Device Central.
Perhaps I missed something.
Can anybody clue me in?

Thanks for reply, I am trying my application on T-mobile 8820. Your solution is good and it is working, But this solution requires manually enter phone number in Options -> Advanced Options -> Sim-Card -> Scroll Down -> MenuButton -> Edit SIM-Phonenumber.
Actully we don't want that user do these thing.
I tried to get phone number via sending sms to short code that returns phone number, But for CDMA there is problem for sending sms by using BB API (invoke method), Because this API restart the application.
Is there any other way to get phone number?

Where can I get an iPad template since Device Central displays none?

I notice a few others having this problem (not able to access iPad templates). So far, I can't see anyone on this forum able to solve the mystery. What's the go? Regardless of which program I have open in my CS4 suite, Device Central displays no Apple devices whatsoever.

In Device Central CS4 there aren't any Apple profiles, for that you will require CS5.

I know I probably have a setting wrong somewhere, but I've Googled this to no avail.
I have a flash file and I'm trying to view it in the iPad emulator in Device Central. I have it as a project, Flash Player 10 & 10.1, ActionScript 3.0, but when I click Control -> Test Movie -> In Device Central, and choose iPad, iPhone 3GS, or iPhone 4 profiles created by Adobe, it says that "The file type is not supported on this device!"
I'm sure I'm exporting it wrong or something but I can't figure out what settings I'm supposed to be using. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Amber,
That is because the devices you mentioned do not support Flash and also have not been profiled to support Flash emulation.

Can anyone help me on this. Device Central won't load up on

did you change any setting? Reset all setting and try to run
this in default/standard mode.

Another user had success doing the following:
I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
      tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
      "done", in the upper right corner
c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
      Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
      should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
      security questions.
d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
      selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
      should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
      questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

Can't type code from 2nd device to 1st device to enable sync-ing.

Im syncing my laptop to my pc.
I have created a sync account on the pc.
When I try to add a device, I am unable to type any codes on either computer or laptop.
As I have both screens open at the same time, pls confirm which code I am taking and putting on to which computer.
Why can't I type any codes at all????

Are you logged on to the Sync server on the PC?
You can also enter the account name (email address) and password and the Sync key.
* Open "Tools > Options > Sync" or "Firefox > Set Up Sync"
* Click "Set Up Firefox Sync" to go to "Firefox Sync Setup"
* Click "I already have a Firefox Sync account" : Connect
* Click "I don't have the device with me" at the bottom

try this and see if it works: connect your iPhone and open up iTunes on your PC. Go to your phone's page. Under Summary page, check manually manage music and videos.

[HELP] Phone-layout of 640px, doesnt SCALE correct on any phone device.

When you enter my websites phonelayout from any phone, it does not rescale the viewport correctly.
The layout is: 640px width, but even on an ios device with a greater width than 640px, it doesnt scale it correctly, it always ends up zoomed in at around 200px in the top corner.

I found a fix - not a pretty one - nor suppoted.
Make a max width of the minimum width of a phone, lets say 280px, then build everything up with text frames with 100% width, and copy/paste all your "items" into the text frames, and center it, like was it text.
It creates a "fluid" layout, where it will always center the content, no matter if its a 280px, 400px, or 2000px - and the text will also be fluid, unless you seperate it manually.
it WORKS, but it could be so easy to implement in a slight better way...
Adobe muse is NEARLY there... just need to add open information on how to create widgets your self and ofcourse add the responsive layout

Sir, your Apple ID can be used as an iCloud account as well. They are both the same thing.

Unfortunately, I have a very similar problem. Since I upgraded to os 5.1 on my new iPhone 4S the reminders screen will not add new reminders or scroll up and down.
