Can anybody advantages of SAP over other ERPs like ORACLE Apps

Can any body please tell me how SAP help a company to run it bussiness in smoother way than other ERP's....Please tell me some worthfull points.

Hi,
The ERP developed by SAP AG is different from the rest of the crowd by the way it functions. SAP maintains a single database across the entire organization and consequently redundant copies of the data do not exist. And hence data retrieval becomes more convenient.
Also SAP is shipped with about 8000 data base tables covering all the modules that are applicable for any industry. So the unity in diversity helps SAP customers to maintain the integrity and enhances the business.

i just opened my ipad, started my apple account/I.D. and realized I put the wrong e mail. I was having trouble correcting my I.D on the Ipad so I went to my laptop and make the proper changes/slash e mail address I wanted for my apple ID. I got back to my ipad and try to download an app I can't because I have to sign in my apple account and I can't because it still has the irrelivant I.D/email address..
So, i did what you said.. went to setting>app store> tapped on my e mail.. it asked me to sign in (with my invalid emails address showing). I signed in with the password I had created. It said "incorrect".. I went to reset password. I reset password, tried to sign in and it says again "unvalid password".. this is getting irritating. I have been asking and no one knows what to do.

Common steps in both Sender and Receiver:
Create logical system and assign to client
Create RFC Destinations in SM59
Create RFC Ports in WE21
Steps in Sender
Create table in SE11 and insert data
Create Segments in Tcode WE31.Define the table fields in segment
Create basic IDOC type in WE30.Specify the above created segment name,save and release the IDOC
Create message type in WE81
Assign message type to IDOC type in WE82 and release
Create partner profile in BD64,add the message type ,specify sender,receiver,message type and generate partner profile and execute.Distribute the model view
Check the partner profile in WE20
Develop a report in SE38 with code that transfers the data from source to destination
Execute the report and specify the fields to be transferred
Check the control records in WE02
Steps in Receiver:
Create an update function module in SE37
Assign the function module to logical message
Define input method in Tcode BD51
Create process code in WE42
Generate partner profile in BD64
After executing the report in sender system check in the destination system table wheather the fields are transferred
In this case a custom table has been created in sender and receiver with same structure.We can even transfer the standard table fields by using idocs

With reference of my last post ( Oracle Apps and Oracle Developer 6i ).
Grant Ronald (Ace Member) reply me that not all applications are built on Oracle Developer 6i, actually I want to know that which modules of Oracle Apps built on which tools. Kindly let me know please.

Some are built using a HTML (UIX technology) as a front end and Java (BC4J) back end.
As we move forward the Fusion technology stack will mainly be around ADF, ADF Business Components and ADF Faces.

1. Go to App Store and select a free app
2. Tap INSTALL APP
3. Create New Apple ID
4. Confirm Your Country
5. Agree with Terms and Conditions
6. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (must be a valid email address)
7. Create and answer your secret question e.g. What is the name of my dog?
8. Select NONE for Payment Method (very important)
9. Fill in Billing Address i.e. your address

Integrating Oracle Apps, Peoplesoft, SAP and others using ADF(Portal), BPEL

Hi,
Our company has various system like Oracle Apps, Peoplesoft, SAP and some custom systems which uses microsoft active directory. All the system has a common User ID but diffrent password as set by the user. For now every user have to remember 4 different passwords and username(in some cases).
We wish to integrate the Authentication process using BPEL. Some thing like a SSO so the user will login into a new application(Build using ADF) like a portal, which will contain the links to all the above stated application. With this new application the user will have to remember only one user name and password and this user name and password will be sinked with all the other applications using BPEL.
Can you guys through some ideas as in how we can acchive this? Is it possible to integrate the Authentication process using BPEL?

Why dont you synch ypur users in OPID and keep one username password there and then use external application or portal context to authenticate to all your other applications?

Career advice : Oracle apps technical versus other roles

I've 7 yrs exp & over 5 yrs in Oracle Apps(R12 & Fusion(4.5 yrs)) as applications developer. Even now, as TL/PM I don't see my role evolving as you are still expected to do hands on various technologies.
How can I become fully functional (without having to settle for lesser salary)? What can an MBA do for me?
Ideally I would like to play an "account manager" kind of profile in oracle consulting, where I would handle clients. Or something where I can develop my entrepreneurial & soft skills.
