Can anybody successfully use the screen capture method with Pro/E?

Has anybody got this command to work sucessfully?
All the parts in my assemblies get placed on the same position, not respecting my Pro/E constraints.
Do I have a wrong config setting? In 3D v7, I saw that Pro/E wasn't a supported application - is this the reason this doesn't work?
I always use the drag and drop metho in the 3D toolkit.

Jeremy is correct. A straight conversion into Acrobat is best. Just Drag & Drop the model onto Acrobat to open the Acrobat 3D Conversion dialog which, with Pro/E gives very many options to control the conversion process. Or, use the 3D Tool; go to Tools > Avanced Editing > 3D Tool and marquee an area in your PDF where you want the model to placed. After the marquee is completed, the Add 3D Content panel is displayed. Navigate to your Pro/E model and select it, the Acrobat 3D Conversion dialog will be displayed.

Although I gave up investment tracking for personal reasons (I had used Quicken Deluxe 2002 for many years for that reason), my understanding is that the new Quicken 2007 for Lion/Mt. Lion is completely the same feature wise as Quicken 2007 for PPC. It will run on Snow Leopard, too.

Hey there, I'm trying to use a new function (new as of 11.5) called META2TTF (found in the 11.5's Docutoolbox reference guide), it converts Portrait Metacode Xerox fonts to a Windows TrueType Font.
I'm trying to use the utilty to, as my explanation above would suggest, convert Xerox fonts we own to their TrueType version so our users can see what their efforts in Documaker would look like while working on their sections, etc. However, in using the command line function, I keep getting the message "Device font in non-portrait orientation not converted." I'm pretty confident the font(s) I'm trying to convert are portrait oriented, so I'm just wondering if anybody else has by chance used this utility so I can figure out if it's user error or whether I need to open a ticket with Oracle...
i used the font converter wizard last week in 11.5 to successfully convert all of my Xerox fonts to PCL so I can print locally and see the true representation of what I create in Studio, but TTF is not an option in the wizard (unless it's just not called TTF and I'm missing the proverbial "boat" on this one).

I think there might be a mistake in the documentation which says to use /I= and /O= for the input Xerox font name and the output TrueType font name. Actually, you don't use /I= and /O=, just specify the input Xerox font name and the output TrueType font name.
For example,
meta2ttf C:\metafonts\HM108P.fnt "C:\My Fonts\HM108P.TTF"

Has anyone successfully used the ZTE Open C with an AT&T microcell?

I have a ZTE Open C and have had no issues with initial setup w/AT&T. However, like most newer phones the voice signal reception is very weak.
I've had an AT&T Microcell before, but I don't have one now. For those that are unaware, the microcell allows 3G phones to connect via a 3G signal, but the call is routed through a home broadband internet connection.
Has anyone successfully used a ZTE Open C w/Firefox OS AND used an AT&T microcell? If yes, did you need to do anything special on the phone or with Firefox OS.

I don't use a ZTE Open C, however, I do have a ZTE Open (Original) on AT&T and so I'll see if I can help ;D
I know someone who has a Microcell, and I have used it myself a few times. However, the microcell only works if you have entered in your phone number into settings of the Microcell.
Check the Microcell settings.
Check the data connection settings on your FxOS device
Make sure your Microcell is properly connected to WiFi
and check the AT&T support page for more info
For a while, it actually hasn't actually worked for me. I apologize if this doesn't solve your problem :D

Can I run use the traditional NIDAQ Driver with PCI-6259 M

I'm trying to run the Matlab signal processing toolox with my PCI-6259 M series DAQ card. I know that
I can't use the DAQmx driver and Matlab signal processing toolbox together. NI is obviously in competition with
Mathworks b/c there aren't any mathworks products listed although VB are listed. Is there a way I can use the traditional NI-DAQ driver with my card. Yes, I've read the discussion about using the NI commands in Matlab using a the dll. I have signal processing toolbox and I want to use it b/c it's a lot easier.

Unfortunately the answer is no, you can't use the 6259 with Traditional DAQ. It is only supported in DAQmx

Can anybody successfully apply the 110202-01 patch on windows?

I am new to solaris. Solaris(intel) only recogniz 6.8G out of my 40G hard drive. I tried to apply the patch here http://sunsolve.sun.com/pub-cgi/retrieve.pl?patchid=110202&collection=fpatches. I tried to use DOS version of dd command which was obtained from ftp.uu.net:/vendor/sun/solaris/x86/dd.exe to copy the files to floppy disk on my WIndows. But this dd only work for that ITU1.3 file, but always say "Error durning OPEN of [S28dca1000]". And according to the readme file, it looks like I need both files to make use of the whole 40G. THis thing is driving me crazy. Can anyone help?

I was able to create both of them. If you created the first one you should not have problems creating the second one the only diference in the procedure is the name of the file. Download the patch again maybe there is some corruption. I also applied the patch but it didn't solve the problem. Ref.

Anybody successfully using LARGE usb HD's with AirportExtreme/TimeCapsule

If You have AirportExtreme or TimeCapsule with USB port, and hard disk larger than 1TB connected to it and being able to see/share the harddisk, please post your details: OS, AE model, HDmodel and anything that might help me (and many others) trying to get those usb disk working, or at least appearing in finder.

Drive came as FAT32 formated, and was not visible. Then I connected it directly to Mac and reformat the drive to GUID/OS extended. Then I did some tests with Drive genius2 and drive is working ok. Then connect to usb port on AE, open airport utility and drive is not there. I also downgraded firmware to 7.4.1, didn't help. I reformated the drive as Apple partition/OS extended, no luck. Reboot in Leopard, same story. Spoke with Freecom UK, and since drive works ok when connected directly to Mac, they don't give any further support. Guy mention that maybe SIZE is a problem. I also tried to format into two partitions of 750GB but that also didn't help. Drive is not recognized by Airport Extreme. I also tried to connect with Go..and typing IP address 10.0.1.1, no answer.
So, it is going back to the shop.

What is the best software to use for screen capture on a PC for use with FCPX?

What is the best software to use for screen capture on a PC (windows 7) for use with FCPX? I've tried Camtasia and camstudio however the avi files cannot be imported by FCPX and the mov files produced by these programs are shown as just black screens in FCPX.

I use to face this issue every now and then (as a freelancer) when I use to cut on FCP7.
if the material is DV and was captured using Sony VEGAS, Premiere or Edius, the footage generally worked fine. You'll find most people will tell you to convert it regardless, however I found no issues working with them.
A problem you'll definitely face is HDV material. Most PC editing software write HDV in their own codec, which can't be read in FCP.
The only thing I can think of is to try converting HDV meaterial to QuickTime using something like MPEG Streamclip, or something similar.

I have an old iPod Touch with old software that can no longer be updated:
iOS version 6.1.6
I've been searching for a solution to my iMessage login problem for months and tried everything from those frustrating links and all the tips from other users.
Here is what finally worked:
1) Settings > Privacy > Location Services > On
2) Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically > On
3) Reboot device until Apple logo appears
4) Settings > Messages > Sign In
