Can Anyone Clear me the things with DATAMARTS
Hi All,
I Am trying to load data from ODS to MAsterdata Object.
The Masterdata Object has already been assgined to PCFILES source system. SO I Am trying to assgin another source system which will be the MYSELF SYSTEM. When I am giving the name of the source system(as myself), a pop screen is coming asking to assgin the datasource... Here comes the problem for me . I need to update the masterdata with the contents in ODS. SO my datasource wilbe the 8(ods) right ? ... but in the list I am not finding the datasource name with my ODS .. BUt i am avle to see the datsource in the --sourcesyeem, myself system under datamarts section.
And One more question ,IF you go the infosource screen of any ODS I mean the 8ODS.. there in the menu bar we have drop meuns like , 1.INfosource 2. EDIT 3.goto
4.??????????????? 5.environment.
what does that 4 mean here and why the names of those are not displayed and if we click on that we will get options like . 1.infosource status , 2. ??
what is the opiton 2 here .
if we click on the question mark we will get two radio buttons like .
1.transfer program 8ztods_vc
2.psa access program.
can anyone tell me what will happen if we choose one of them and where we can see the results if we choose any one of them and excute.

Hi,
Here you tried to connect the Info source(Direct update) to Transactional data Data source(8...).Thats why you are not able to see the Data source 8....
So create a Infosource (for Flexible updating ) for your Master characterstic.After activating the communication structure , if you try to assign the Data source,you will see the DS 8...

When i try to sync contact via itunes to outlook, it doesnt get sync, even i checked the sync contact with outlook. Can anyone guide whats the actual problem?
I have similar problems trying to synchronize my calendar, also after update on 7.1.1. on my Iphone 5.
It doesn;t replace the outlook entries on Iphone 5.
I didn,t try to synchronize the contacts, because it may fail.

So the thing with the attachments in Mail for Mac...
Hey guys,
I've searched and browsed for the last 2 or 3 hours to find a solution to this problem and I've seen that many others are having the same problem and no solution for it.
What's the problem?
I'm using the standard Mail program on a Macbook Pro under OS X Mavericks and no matter how I attach a file in an eMail it will ALWAYS come as "inline" or "embedded" to the recipient. Now this bothers me **** of a lot, because the mails simply look riddiculous. I would really like to attach my .jpeg and .pdf files as ATTACHMENTS and not as pictures which then by some can't even be saved or downloaded.
What "solutions" have I tried?
So this problem dates back to 2008 / 2009 and I'm not the only one having this issue. Apparently there are some solutions.
Here are the ones that I tried but didn't work:
setting composed mails to "plain text" rather than "rich text" - failed
clicking the embedded file and activating "view as icon" - failed
the thing with the terminal command - failed
attachments always on end of document - failed
Attachment Tamer seems to work, but causes some crashes and I'm not really happy with a third party program whose development seems to have stopped since a pre-realease build.
Now I would really, really appreciate any more ideas to solve this problem.. it is literally driving me crazy .

OliverIt seems hard to control how the recipient's email program will process the attachment. I always put my attachments at the end of the message and they stay there as far as I know, so it is not clear what causes this problem for those that experience it.
One workaround: zip the attachment(s) and send the zipped file. You "zip it" by selecting the file(s) control-clicking and selecting "compress". Of course, now the recipient has to have the "unzipping" ability, which may or may not be a problem.

GaganNot sure what you are asking here. A BDC program is a recording over an SAP transaction. The flow is determined by the screen sequence of the transaction which is being recorded.
What you do is fill an internal table with screen numbers and fields with values and fcodes. Then call the transaction using the internal table.

I have a 17-inch MacBook Pro with a destroyed screen. (My son put it on the top of his car and drove off and it fell off.) Can anyone tell me the keystrokes to make an external monitor the primary monitor? I can see only the upper left side of the laptop screen so I CAN select system preferences. I can then arrow over to system preferences and down to make selections I cannot see. I don't know then what to do or IF I can make the choices needed to make the external monitor primary when all I can do is make keystrokes on items I cannot see. It's an older (about 2008) MacBook Pro and I would like to use the external monitor to see to connect an external hard drive and download files to install on a new MacBook. My son might know the iOS but I don't.

This is the left side of System Preferences in OS 10.8.3. (if that is not what the MBP is running post back). By the way, if you can grab the top of that pane you could move it over to the top far left. - Same for any pane.
Do this with the external monitor connected and powered on.
You need to click on Displays., and then grope for Arrangement and click there.
When you get there, the two screens are shown.
The trick is to grab the white stripe (on the left in this image) and move it to the other rectangle. You do not have to position it exactly, it snaps into place when it gets close. -

All of your 'stuff' that is not Music Movies Apps Backups or Photos is in Other, that means all your emails, all your files etc, why don't you just leave well enough alone, this is not windows and doesn't need tinkering with, -

Lots of hotels in the DR have WiFi. And there is plenty of cellular coverage in Santo Domingo (and elsewhere).
One thing to be careful of, the WiFi networks are usually not secured and are very vulnerable to people "listening" for passwords and user names, so don't do any financial transactions online and perhaps consider setting up some temporary passwords for the trip and changing them when you get home.

Using Replacement Path in your Text and Formula variables, replace values held in a characteristic. The Characteristic value variables are replaced by the results of a query at run-time.
