I use Jrun4 app server. I am creating a row in the database using entity beans. The child table record is created using DAO. Both the operations are happening in the same transaction. When i start the server n do the above operation i get parent key not exists exception while inserting the child. But when i repeat the same operation there is no such exception. Also when i restart the server n do the same operation i again get the same exception. what would be the problem??

we use this keyword when globle variable and local variable both name same.
e.g
this.emp=emp;
this.sal=sal;

I have worked my way through the assistant and nothing works. I have tried connecting in disc mode but although the screen on the ipod is showing that the device is charged and that it is in disc mode as soon as I connect it to the computer it comes up with the error message 'please wait very low battery' and stays like that until I disconnect when it appears to be OK again. I have tried on both pc and mac.
BTW the ipod is an ipod video not classic if that makes any difference.

I received the same error message after I had recently updated iTunes to 10.5.1 and I had wirelessly updated 13 apps. I had to go into iTunes and select Apps, on the bottom right it said I needed to update 13 apps. I updated the apps via iTunes and then synced again without an issue.

I can't deauthorize all computers. It acts like it is doing it, but it never succeeds and no message returns saying why it didn't work. Can anyone explain why this is happening?

I had to rebuild a computer. When I got iTunes installed and tried to sync my iPod it said that I had reached my limit of five computers. I logged into my iTunes account and went through the process for deauthorizing all computers. It comes up with a messaging asking if I am sure I want to deauthorize all computer and I select the "Deauthorize computers" button. It never comes back with a message one way or another whether it was successful. When I get out of that screen and come back in, it still shows that I have 5 authorized computers. I can't sync my iPod. The deauthorization is not working. Can anyone explain why this is happening?

What is strange however is that my iMac is only a few months old and they all were upgraded to V3.x just a few months ago - with all Apps for iWork removed at that time.
Unless you did something specific to remove the old versions of the iWork apps (not advisable) then, as Wayne points out, they were not actually removed from your Mac, just moved into that subfolder within your main Applications folder.
I originally downloaded Numbers 2.x from the App Store (i.e. didn't install from a disk). I still have it on my Mac. But only Numbers 3.x appears in Launchpad.
I don't know whether this will help, but in Mac App Store you might try clicking 'Account' under 'Quick Links' on the right, signing in with your password, and clicking the 'Reset' button to the right of 'Reset all warnings for buying and downloading'. Sometimes the App Store gets a little confused. It's possible Launchpad may be taking its cue from the App Store in showing that old version of Numbers.
By Launchpad I assume you really mean Launchpad, not the Dock. I usually use the Dock. If that's what you're using too, then of course you can just drag the icon for the old Numbers off the Dock and it will vanish. (But the Numbers 2.3 application will still be there in that subfolder when you need it.)

i have got one critical scenario...where..
i get four files(file can flat file or XML) as input......in the input directory in XI
when the first file comes into input directory..
first file should be picked separately by XI ..
when the second file comes into input directory
second file also should be picked separately by XI ..
but,
when third file comes into the input directory...XI should wait for fourth file ...
and when the fourth file comes in ....it(fourth file) should be merged with third file and then pick it up...
Can anyone elaborate with steps...

So as i understand you have 4 source messages and want to process 3 target message from XI (message 3. & 4.)
So for the first two .. Message 1. and 2. it will be no problem. Normall processing picking up the file and do what ever you want to do.
So difficult part is the 3. and 4. Message because you become 2 Files in .. but you want to process only one target Message.
For that case you can use a Business Process with 2 parallel waiting receive steps. This parallel Block will only execute if both message reach the process.
After this block you can merge the two message an process your 3. target message.
So you have to configur the message flow for each 4 source messages. 3. & 4. will go to the same Process. Here you have to use a correlation. Othervise the message go to different process instants.
I hope that was understandable.

You've probably got hard disk corruption or malware on your computer. Run a virus scan with a recently update antivirus. Next, reinstall iTunes as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925.
Follow the instructions exactly, and do not skip any steps.

You may be better served by making a new page for each audio file.
The page loads slowly because each of the 8 MP3's must begin their download before the next page element can be downloaded. They don't have to completely download (just start) and the QuickTime browser plug-in will be used to play them.
Each time your page loads completely you're using over 50MB's of your bandwidth limits. This could become expensive if you have bandwidth pricing.
Consider using just a minute of each MP3 in the QuickTime .mov container with a link to the entire file (as you have now) in MP3 format. Saves bandwidth and speeds up the page load time.

I have a superdrive that has been barely used and all of sudden I wanted to make a copy of a disk to disk one using a lacie external dvd drive and the other the superdrive, I have been getting some errors only using Dual Layer disk, now before I recorded perfectly fine with the same batch of dual layer disk, now when I want to record on iDVD a movie with the same batch of dual layer disk it would not complete the recording of the disk, by all means with the Lacie DVD recorder I have it works perfect why is that with the superdrive back then it worked fine now it does not, is this a mechanical or firmware problem should apple be on this case with their superdrive, I am using a MediaRange DVD+R DL disk and it works fine with the lacie but not with the superdrive still it use to work fine before but this was just right after using toast which now I am never going to use because I had the same experience with a Lacie DVD recorder I had before and it did the same until i had to repurchase another DVD recorder from Lacie.

yah my lacie works fine but I think the superdrive stop recognizing the media when we updated to the new OSX which is now 10.6.8 I think apple needs to update the superdrive firmware, because my lacie recorded two disk with out a hitch, and using iDVD but when I use the superdrive with the same media, it starts to record then it fails that means either something is not right with the firmware, or the DVD was damage with Toast, and this has not been the first time it has damage a DVD recorder. But the funny thing is that the superdrive records perfectly all the single layer disk with out a problem so I am guessing its a firmware or the drive is damage. The way it was damage well it has to do with toast and the mechanism getting stuck and thus damaging the recording head.
This could happen, and no I do not have applecare in Spain bad thing about this is either I have to drive to Barcelona or madrid with a 27 inch iMac and have them check it there. If they tell me that the drive was damage and need a new one I for sure would post on blogs for people not to support Roxio software, because the first time I had a drive that was damage by toast was with a DVD recorder 16x dual layer +and - DVD R and same thing only records single layer but dual layers of any kind would not record this was once with toast that just out of the blue was recording a dual layer disk gave me an error and you could hear the spindle spinning but the recorder was not recording and if you leave it after the error is closed out and the disk is spinning the head recorder would get damage.
I told roxio this problem and they said its not their problem, guess what its not going to be my problem anymore because I wish for more people to stop supporting their poorly made product.
