Can anyone from SAP answer this question?

How does an individual go about obtaining training and/or materials in BOFC in English given that no such classes are scheduled (and are not likely to in the near future, given SAP's push for the other product, BPC) in the US?
Thanks.

Matt,
You might want to look at the e-learning offerings from SAP Education. These online knowledge products, while not the same as a classroom experience, do provide the information and instruction you are seeking. There are a number of courses listed under the headings of SAP BusinessObjects Cartesis - Finance and SAP BusinessObjects Cartesis - Finance 10.5
Those listings are all the way at the bottom of this page:

Hope this is helpful!

  • Can some one simply answer this question with me going round and round in circles,.,I am in Australia. Do I use the British or US firefox download.

    I am in Australia. Do I use the British or US firefox download.
    I am having extreme difficulty getting a simple answer to this question.
    I just keep getting sent back and forth to different firefox sites for more details, or ask community, go to an answer site etc etc.

    Maybe best to install the British version and install the Australian dictionary.

    I have a user defined table (i.e. Colours) connected to the Item Master Data Form (-150). This table is combo box on the form. Whenever I populate this combo I specify Code (i.e. 1) and Name (i.e. 15 ml) values. Now if my form in the search mode and I bring list of the items by using * for item number (Form 1003) I can see matrix with number of records but unfortunately column with sizes displays Code instead of Names. Please let me know whether it is possible to display Name value. The Display Descr. checked in the "choose from list" Form Settings..
    what shell I do, any ideas?

    still investigation this found that if i create Data Field by going Manage User Fields > Master Data> Items > Items > Some Field and use Set Valid for Field option with predefined values then i am able to switch between Code and Description, but if i use Set Linked Table option then the only Code appears whenever I use choose from list form under  Item Master Data.

  • Can anyone from SAP comment on this? Credit Note from AP Invoice

    Hi all!
    I'm creating a partial credit note from a Service AP invoice via DI.
    My invoice has 2 lines, the first for 10.000, the second from 5.000 (no VAT to keep things simple) Tot = 15.000.
    In the credit note I have the first line for 2.000 and the second for 1.000, Total = 3.000.
    I set for the first line
    CreditNote.Lines.BaseType = "18"
    CreditNote.Lines.BaseEntry = 28
    CreditNote.Lines.BaseLine = 0
    CreditNote.Lines.Line Total = 2.000
    and for the second
    CreditNote.Lines.BaseType = "18"
    CreditNote.Lines.BaseEntry = 28
    CreditNote.Lines.BaseLine = 1
    CreditNote.Lines.Line Total = 1.000
    and for the CreditNote
    CreditNote.DOcTotal = 3.000
    Saving, I obtain a CreditNote with the first line for 10.000, the second for 5.000 and a total discount of 12.000, Total = 3.000. (same invoice amounts on the lines
    and a discount to get the correct invoice total).
    My question is: isn't there a way to obtain a credit note linked to the invoice but with line amounts different from the ones of the invoice (in my example: first line 2.000, second 1.000) and without discount?
    in B1 you can do it!!!
    I know that from a fiscal point of view the result is the same, but seeing credit notes in B1 different from the vendor documents is pretty upsetting for some customers ...
    Thanks in advance,
    francesca

    Nevermind!
    I solved the problem: even with DI you can create a partial Credit Note.

  • Can somebody from Verzion answer this?

    I and many other customers have been waiting for a response from Verizon as to when they will offer more WP7 handsets.  I spoke with one of your marketing people who was at my place of employement trying to drum up customers the other day and she had no knowledge of any future WP7 offerings.  Does Verizon plan to offer anything beyond to the Trophy?  Are they abandoning WP7?  They seem to be dragging there feet in embracing this promising phone OS.  I really don't want to leave Verizon as I have been a customer for a long time, but I can't wait much longer for some type of Roadmap.  Other carriers are starting to pick up the better hardware, so there is an alternative. I do enjoy Verizon's quality coverage in my area, however other carriers are catching up on this front so there are other options.  All I ask for is one of these two answers:
    We have no plans to offer any further hardware in the WP7 arena.
    -or-
    We do plan on offering more WP7 phones around this timeframe.  (Maybe mention some manufacturers.)
    http://community.vzw.com/t5/Windows-Phone-Discussions/Anyone-else-waiting-for-a-better-WP7-device-on-Verizon/td-p/540554
    Thanks!!

    What is the advantage of not announcing before releasing?
    They think people would just settle for current phones instead of waiting?
    If so, I can somewhat understand but: there are 4G VZW droids for free online.  The gap is so huge that people might give WP7 up for dead.  Does VZW care at all or is it just pushing people to Android?
    My upgrade eligibility is coming next month and it's a huge ripoff to get the Trophy when there are 4G / better hw / better screen Androids for the same price.
    4 months between my eligibility and end of contract.  Hopefully that's enough time to release a 4G WP7?  The workers are back from strike now aren't they?

  • Can anyone at all answer this?

    My shared folder is missing.  I'm running Mac OSx 10.5.8.
    Is there any way to create a new one and what would be the best way to do that.
    Thanks in advance

    Go under the Apple menu -> System preferences -> Sharing and enable one of the many types of file sharing.  Hopefully this will create a Shared folder for you.  If not, you may need to create a second dummy user in Apple menu -> System preferences -> Accounts.  I forget which of these would do it, but one should.

  • Can anyone help me solving this problem with Mail?

    I haven´t being able to send emails with MAIL for two days. I have managed 7 email accounts with 3 different servers for more than 2 years with no problem until last Monday.
    Basically, what I can notice as unusual is this message from Connection Inspector:
    220-We do not authorize the use of this system to transport unsolicited,
    220 and/or bulk e-mail.
    But I have copy/pasted what Connection Inspector says:

    Can anyone help me solving this question with explaination .
    Given:
    11. public String makinStrings() {
    12. String s = ?Fred?;
    13. s = s + ?47?;
    14. s = s.substring(2, 5);
    15. s = s.toUpperCase();
    16. return s.toString();
    17. }
    How many String objects will be created when this method is invoked?
    A. 1
    B. 2
    C. 3
    D. 4
    E. 5
    F. 61 is created at line 13 as a result of StringBuilder.toString().
    1 is created at line 14 as a result of substring().
    1 is created at line 15 as a result of toUpperCase().
    The Strings "Fred" and "47" at lines 12 and 13 are NOT created when that method is invoked. They are created when the class is loaded.
    Note, however, that some of this is based on current implementations, NOT on requirements of the JLS or VM spec, so really, the answers could be different. Overall, it's a poorly thought out question.

    Hello,
    That means it can find the Hard Drive, or can't find the things needed for booting.
    See if DU even sees it.
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
    *Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
    Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
    (Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

    Hello KCC4ME,
    You may try booting your Mac in Safe Boot, as it can resolve many issues that may prevent a successful login.
    OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode?
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1564
    If a Safe Boot allows you to successfully log in, you may have issues with one or more login itmes (while the following article is labelled as a Mavericks article, it is viable for earlier versions of the Mac OS, as well).

    The photo's in your camera roll would be in a backup, if you have one (iCloud or iTunes).  If you did not keep a backup somewhere, they are gone.  Sorry, but that is the way of any data - if you don't have a backup of it somewhere, there is nothing to restore it from.
    All other photo's should be on your computer somewhere anyway - whereever you had them to sync to the device originally.

    why can't i play .wmv file in quicktime even after i download codec from windows? can anyone help me wit this please!!!!!

    Have you done the obvious things to try to fix it: quit Quicktime then start it back up again, log out then back in, reboot.
    Edit: Just read one of your later posts. If VLC won't play it, this is unrelated to Quicktime and Flip4Mac. Are you sure these wmv files are okay?

    I think you have to sign into your Amazon Kindle Account, find the book in your archive and delete it there.  Otherwise you can delete it from the device and leave it in the archive, should you want to look at it again.
