Can anyone help diagnose what could be wrong with my form?

Hello,
I created this form last year and it was working just great.  I emailed it to the main user and he used it successfully for months.  His computer crashed and he had to reload stuff.  Since then there has been trouble.  The forms looks just fine to me.  I email it to him - or anyone including myself - or even save it to disk and try to open it and the weirdest thing happens.  All the typewritten stuff is gone and all that shows up are the boxes etc.
This (for me) was a complicated form and I have no idea how to diagnose and correct this trouble.  I don't understand how it could look fine on my screen - but when I email it and then open the same file all the text is gone.  I don't know what I am missing.  Any help would be so appreaciated.  I know just enough to have created this form and that's about it.
Thanks in advance!
Eileen

Does the main user of your form have Reader or Acrobat? Reader does not save data in the form fields (only view and print) unless the PDF has been Reader-enabled in Acrobat 8 Pro. or Acrobat 9. Also, if the form was Reader-enabled, and the main user did a Save As then the form will no longer be Reader-enabled.

    Forgive my ignorance but I have never hear of iTunes Document Manager Pro. If you mean Document Manager Pro, i was able to find that. Back to your problem, have you tried opening one of those files in the iOS iWorks apps? Form the quick read that I did about this, .cwk files can be opened by Pages, Numbers or Keynote, depending on what type of document that it is and those files can be read by Document Manager Pro, after properly saving them. I don't see that you can go directly from the .cwk file in Document Manager Pro without converting them first.
    I took a very quick look at the app, so I may be a missing something about its capability.

    My macbook eont turn in. I've tried several chargers with the same result each time. The light will be momentarily green then go off completeky (charger light). Its three years old. What could be wrong with it? Also, the closest apple store is two hours away. Does bestbuy fix macs?

    Try a SMC reset:

    If no success you will have to bring the MBP in for repair.  Note that genius bar technicians are trained by Apple, thus your chance for a correct diagnosis and repair is better there than at an non Apple place.

  • HT201210 I have a iphone 4 and while it was updating it went into the connect to itunes and will not update to come out of it. can anyone help me "what to do?

    I have a iphone 4 and it will not come out of the connect to iphone  mode. I have connected to itunes and it will go about 3/4 of the way and say the phone cannot be updated. It was installing and update when this happened. can anyone help?

    Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you should be able to restore to factory settings.

  • What could be wrong with this resolveNodes / for script?

    Hello, I am stumped and would greatly appreciate some help here.
    I have a table that has the ability to add additional rows.
    Each row includes a "delete" button to clear the row.
    I'd like to hide the "delete" button when another button is clicked.
    There are a variable amount of rows at any given time, so I can't target the button directly.
    I have used the "for" method before, but it doesn't seem to be able to find the nodes in this case.
    My hierarchy looks like this:
    form1
    - productSubform
    - - productJobTable
    - - - productJobRow
    - - - - deleteBtn
    my Javascript looks like this:
    var nodes = form1.productSubform.productJobTable.resolveNodes("productJobRow[*]");
    var len = nodes.length;
    for(var i = 0; i < len; i++) {
            nodes.item(i).deleteBtn.presence = "invisible";
    Can anyone see what could be wrong here?
    Thank you in advance.

    This code worked for me...
      var rows = form1.p1.Table1.resolveNodes("Row1[*]");
      var len = rows.length;
      for (var i=0; i<len; i++) rows.item(i).Button1.presence = "invisible";
    When I used nodes as the variable name, I got this error: "Invalid property set operation."

  • What could be wrong with my iPad and how do I fix it?

    My iPad has suddenly started running games slowly and is no longer running videos.  I have not updated to iOS 7 yet and I have 7.8 GB available.  What could be wrong and how do I fix it?

    Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
    Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
    Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).

  • Can anyone help me what is the use of business and proxy service in osb?

    Hi,
    I am new in Osb what is the use of business service and proxy service in osb.
    I know little bit proxy service is used for actual message flow. I saw some project proxy service invoking the (using service callout,routing and publish) service,but the wsdl of the services of the proxy and business service is same.
    Please can anyone explain the flow while executing through soapUI?(that means it will hit 1st business services or proxy service)
    I have this project structure
    business service
    1.reference.biz----> this is the wsdl of ex:reference.wsdl
    2.external.biz----> this is the wsdl of ex:external.wsdl
    proxy service
    1.referece.proxy--->this is the wsdl of ex:reference.wsdl(in this proxy we are routing to reference.biz proxy service both contains same wsdls why?)
    xqueries of request and response.
    Best Regards,
    Raju.

    Hi Raju,
    Proxy Service - It is the starting point of you OSB application which deal with receiving messages, inducing logic in it like transformation, if-else, replace, java call outs,etc. You can put in your program logic here and then invoke a business service to route it to your Database or to any other queue as per your requirement.
    Business Service - It is generally used for routing purposes, like inserting the input in your Database or sending it to a different queue or BPEL process, etc..
    Cheers,
    Rit

  • I can't figure out what im doing wrong with my File I/O program lol

    I'm new to the java language and was wondering if anybody could help me with the program i an writing. I don't quite understand file I/O but I've given it my best and I'm stuck. I'm supposed to write a program that will read in a file of student academic credit data and create a list of students on academic warning. The list of students on warning will be written to a file. Each line of the input file will contain the
    student name (a single String with no spaces), the number of semester hours earned (an integer), the total quality points earned (a double). The program should compute the GPA (grade point or quality point average) for each student (the total quality points divided by the number of semester hours) then write the student information to the output file if that student should be put on academic warning. A student will be on warning if he/she has a GPA less than 1.5 for students with fewer than 30 semester hours credit, 1.75 for students with fewer than 60 semester hours credit, and 2.0 for all other students. The instructions are :
    1. Set up a Scanner object scan from the input file and a PrintWriter outFile to the output file inside the try
    clause (see the comments in the program). Note that you’ll have to create the PrintWriter from a FileWriter,
    but you can still do it in a single statement.
    2. Inside the while loop add code to read the input file—get the name, the number of credit hours, and the
    number of quality points. Compute the GPA, determine if the student is on academic warning, and if so
    write the name, credit hours, and GPA (separated by spaces) to the output file.
    3. After the loop close the PrintWriter and Scanner objects in a finally block.
    4. Think about the exceptions that could be thrown by this program:
    • A FileNotFoundException if the input file does not exist
    • A InputMismatchException if it can’t read an int or double when it tries to – this indicates an error in the
    input file format
    • An IOException if something else goes wrong with the input or output stream
    Add a catch for each of these situations, and in each case give as specific a message as you can. The
    program will terminate if any of these exceptions is thrown, but at least you can supply the user with useful
    information.
    5. Test the program. Test data is in the file students.txt. Be sure to test each of the exceptions as well.
    My source code is:
    // Warning.java
    // Reads student data from a text file and writes data to another text file.
    import java.util.*;
    import java.io.*;
    public class Warning
    // Reads student data (name, semester hours, quality points) from a
    // text file, computes the GPA, then writes data to another file
    // if the student is placed on academic warning.
    public static void main (String[] args)
         int creditHrs; // number of semester hours earned
         double qualityPts; // number of quality points earned
         double gpa; // grade point (quality point) average
         Scanner scan=null;
         PrintWriter outFile=null;
         String name, inputName = "students.txt";
         String outputName = "warning.txt";
         try
              // Set up Scanner to input file
              scan=new Scanner(new FileInputStream(inputName));

              outFile.println ();
              // Process the input file, one token at a time
              while (scan.hasNext())
                   // Get the credit hours and quality points and
                   // determine if the student is on warning. If so,
                   // write the student data to the output file.
                   name=scan.next();
                   creditHrs=scan.nextInt();
                   qualityPts=scan.nextDouble();
                   gpa=qualityPts/creditHrs;
                   if ((gpa < 1.5 && creditHrs < 30) || (gpa < 1.75 && creditHrs < 60) || (gpa < 2.0 && creditHrs >= 60))
                        outFile.print(name + " ");
                        outFile.print(creditHrs + " ");
                        outFile.print(qualityPts + " ");
                        outFile.print(gpa);
              //Add a catch for each of the specified exceptions, and in each case
              //give as specific a message as you can

    System.out.println("The file " + inputName + " was not found.");

    catch (InputMismatchException e)
    System.out.println("The input information was not of the right type.");
              //Close both files in a finally block
    finally
         scan.close();
         outFile.close();
    The txt file is:
    Smith 27 83.7
    Jones 21 28.35
    Walker 96 182.4
    Doe 60 150
    Wood 100 400

    Davis 110 198
    Smart 75 292.5
    Bird 84 168
    Summers 52 83.2
    The program will run and then terminate without creating warning.txt. How can I get it to create the warning .txt file? Any help that you could give would be greatly appreciated.

  • What could be wrong with it?  Ebay ibook

    I got this 14" ibook g3 from ebay and its symptoms are, as described from the listing text, that " Then I did a bad thing. I plugged in a cable into the AV port with both the computer and the receiver where on at the same time.  Suddenly all I got was gibberish colors on the screen. I almost cried. I tried the monitor out jack and lo and behold- it worked! Not on the built in screen mind you, but at least I could plug it into a monitor and still use it. "
    What could have gone wrong with it? If the problem is the motherboard, could I use one out of a 12" g3 ibook and put it into this 14"? I've seen the motherboards and the seem to be the same size and everything on them seems to be located in the same manner. Are the lcd data cable hookups on the 14" motherboard the same as those on a 12" ibook board?

    Hi, What are some of the incompatabilities I will face? Are they just cable lengths? I've compared the sizes and shapes of the motherboards seem to be the same, for example, the connections to the battery, for a 14" ibook have an extension from the motherboard to the battery. I could easily remove the 12" existing connector and replace it with the 14" connector and extension. If the incompatabilitites can be worked around I would really like to try because I have no money to dish out for a new motherboard. Just as long as they don't involve the re-aranging of components like resistors and chips. I am very good with a soldering iron though.
