Can anyone help, how do I get sound?
In a nut shell, I am using my TV as a monitor for my Mac Mini. It works great and I've been using it like this for some time. My problem is... I'm having a hard time working out what I need to connect my computer to my TV so sound will come out of my TV speakers.
At the moment I have a cable coming out of my Mac to the TV so I get a picture. I can only assume a second wire is needed to carry the sound.
Currently I am using a normal computer speaker system (2 speakers and 1 subwoofer)... It's just a cheap set up, but works fine. But it makes no sense for me to have separate speakers when my TV has some built in.... can any one help?

Well, if you are connecting your Mac Mini to your TV
using this cable, then I recommend purchasing
this cable for the audio. One end connects to
your Mac Mini's optical digital audio
output/headphone out port and other to your TV. I
believe this will work, but the type of Mac MIni and
TV model would help.

I'm connecting it at the moment from the mac to the TV using something like this cable:-

There was a small adapter that came with the mac so it can be plugged into the mac and into the wire that I just showed you. When I was setting up my mac agers ago, I had a box full of extra wires that have accumulated over the years. I had the same idea of connecting one of those cables with 1 end yellow red blue and the other into the headphone socket when I found it in the box. But I'm shaw it didn't work. Maybe it was because it wasn't a mac one or it did actually work and it's just me being thick again. lol. If you guys are faily shaw that would work, then I'll be more than happy to go and buy one, but like I say, I'm pretty shaw it didn't work...

Can anyone help me with the fuzzy sound in ITunes?
I have a new IPod and things worked fine and then suddenly I downloaded a CD in and it sounded fuzzy and scratchy like an old LP. Now all of the songs in ITunes play this way. But the CDs play just fine in any other program, so it's ITunes that's the problem.
Has anyone else encountered this and if so, can you explain (as if I were a 4-year old) how you fixed it? I manage my way around the computer OK, but don't know much technical jargon or where to find certain things.

It sounds like Adobe Reader X is your default PDF file handler. Launch Adobe Reader X. Choose Edit > Preferences > General. Click the 'Select Default PDF Handler' button at the bottom and choose Acrobat 9 from the drop-down menu. Click Apply, then OK.
Restart your computer. Acrobat 9 should now be your default PDF file handler again.

This seems to be related to network connectivity or port being blocked on the firewall. verify the network connectivity first and then ports on the firewall. For ports you can use portquery tool which can be downloaded for free and can be installed on the server.

please help , how do you get sound on a first generation ipod touch. No sound is coming out ( I tried headphones but still no sound).
The 1st gen iPod Touch does not have an internal speaker so you will only get sound through earphones.
You could try another pair of earphones, check the volume settings, restart/reset the iPod, etc. -

You can not change the date of birth on the account. Apple makes that clear up front when the account is created.
The only way to "fix" this is going to be for him to create a new account with the correct information. Any apps purchased with the old one will need to be re-purchased with the new account. They can not be transferred.
