When I run the iTunes64setup.exe it says: "The thingy is not a valid win32 application."
That generally indicates that the installer has been getting damaged on the download.
What web browser have you been using for downloading the iTunes64Setup.exe? Does it make any difference if you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa)?

Stupidly I deleted all my music from my laptops music folder: I was doing a spring clean and wrongly thought that all the music was duplicated stored in itunes itself.
Anyway I have all my music on my ipod touch I need now to reverse sync this music back to my itunes.
I know that the solution is to transfer from my itouch>my laptop>my itunes library.
The problem I have is that my computer is not recognising my itouch; it is however showing up in the itunes programme, but not under my computer.
Does anyone know how I should proceed.

Try uninstalling iTunes from your computer, then re-installing it. Then once loaded back on (it still won't have your songs), click on the iTunes Store and log in. Then plug in your iPod, then right-click it on the bar on the left side of the screen, then click "Transfer Purchases". It then should sync all of your songs, movies, TV shows, and Apps to your computer.

You should not be running on an admin account on a regular basis. Use it only if you are installing or doing something which requires admin privileges.
You should have two account. One admin account (for installs and maintenance) and one regular account for all your day-to-day surfing and "normal" work.
Log out and log back in using your admin account and password to install iTunes.

What seems to be the problem? Songs are not syncing from your iTunes library on your PC to your Nano? Is this the same computer you have always synced the Nano with or is this a different/new iTunes library?

I have tried to download quicktime individially and install it but still produces the same error. I cannot access the iTunes Store. It says, "iTunes requires Safari 4.0.3 or later to be installed to use the iTunes Store within iTunes. Use Software Update to download and install the latest version of Safari.". When I go to download the latest version it won't let me. Does anyone know what I can do? I haven't been able to access iTunes Store through my iTunes account for a while now.

Can you take your Macbook to an authorized service provider for the updates or maybe see if they can put them on a CD to mail to you?

someone please help before I throw my computor out of the window I cant open itunes quicktime will not support the action and I get and error message 2069 I have no clue what that means. I have tried removing and reinstalling as it says on the website but its a pile of poop cause it still wont open my itunes what do I do next?

I downloaded a book from itunes and it say it downloaded, but it shows up on the itunes it just wont play. Not only will it not play on itunes, but it will not sync with my ipod either. By the way idk if it matters but its an ipod classic.

You could try duplicating the Domain.sites2 file and launch this in iWeb. Delete the last page you edited and try saving. If that doesn't work, undo and try deleting another and so on...
If you can find the problem page you would only have to rebuild it rather than the whole site.
The other possibility is to create a new site on the same domain file and drag each page in turn down to it from the top site and try to save each time.

I used to see that in iOS6 once in a while. Close the apps and reboot the iPad and then look in the apps again. You know how to close the apps so close them first.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Select from the drop down menu in the top left corner of itunes to 'show the menu 'bar'. From the 'File' menu select 'add file to library' or 'add folder to library' if there are mulitple objects to import. Navigate to the location of the file you wish to import, be it a video, music, book or whatever you wish to import. Depending on the file type and compatibility itunes will automatically put it into its relevant library.
If you are adding a video file that has come straight from something like a youtube downloading program then I think the video you have will require further conversion to make it compatible with itunes and idevices. I'm not sure about you tube downloading programs but there may be a built in conversion that might say it could convert it on the fly.

What version of iTunes do you have installed? If you are trying to update to iOS 6 you need iTunes 10.7 or later.
