Can anyone help Me? After system Restore

I have a H215 Desktop running Win7 and never got any CD discs with this PC
I had to do a System restore useing Lenovo Rescue (hiddin partion)
and of course now MS Office wants my license Key for my office suite
Is there anyway to find this key? or can it be read off the ODM?
Please help I do not wish to have to pay MS for something this PC came with

I tried checking your computer's reference here.
It seemed that your computer was originally configured to have a trial MS Office 2010.
Your computer came with an Office Software 2010 but the Product Key has to be purchased.
If you have purchased a product key before through Lenovo then it should came with a card with a Product key on it or check the receipt you got from this computer You should have an MS Office on the receipt since its a separate purchased from Lenovo.

if the computer was purchased from Retailers I would say check it with them about the Office that you used before.

Can not open itunes after system restore????

Hi There,
I recently used system restore to fix some problems with my computer. After that, everything runs well except itunes. Whenever I double click on itunes, it prompts error box "itunes encountered a problem and needs to close, we are sorry for any inconveniences" and gives me options of sending the problem to Microsoft or not. I am using Real player now but it is way worse than itunes. Please help me. Thank you so much

Hey- Im having the same problem with itunes. After I did a system restore, I get the same error over and over again
hmmmmm. if you system restore over a fresh itunes install (or QuickTime install), you can strip out installation registry entries for itunes. (people typically get the "some of the required files are missing" message after doing that though.)
(MS) Frequently Asked Questions Regarding System Restore in Windows XP
let's try scraping your existing itunes and quicktime out of there, and reinstalling.
first, download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (we will be using it later on.)
next, use the complete uninstallation instructions in the following document to remove your existing itunes and QT:
Trouble installing iPod, iTunes, or QuickTime software in Windows
if you run into trouble on one of the uninstalls, use Installer CleanUp to remove the installation configuration information for the program that is giving you grief, and then use the complete uninstallation instructions as a guide to a manual removal of leftover program files and folders.
even if you don't run into trouble, run Windows CleanUp after you've completed the uninstalls, to check to see if there's any leftover itunes or QT installation configuration information on the PC. (if you find any, remove it.)
reboot the PC. download and save a fresh copy of the itunes installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

Can't update FF after system restore sent it back to previous version

I had to do a system restore this week due to a non-FF-related issue. After the System Restore, I can no longer update FF. <b>I would do a clean install BUT I've done a bunch of customizations (UI [The top part of my FF looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/NG1EA8D.jpg , and I really want to keep it looking that way], zooming settings, cookie exceptions, stuff through about:config) that I want to keep.</b> Please advise on how to proceed.
TIMELINE
Sat, Oct 11 - FF version was 31.0
Sun, Oct 12 - updated to v 32.0.3
Wed, Oct 15 - did system restore to last backup point, which was Sat. Oct 11
ATTEMPTS TO UPDATE FF
I go to Help -> About Firefox, it shows me the current version is v.33.0, I click on " Update to v.33.0" -> button turns to "Restart to Update" -> I click on that and nothing happens.
I also stopped getting the little popups saying that a new version of FF is available.
System: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit
Please advise on what I should do; I don't want to lose the settings I've changed. :S

Generally the installer can upgrade to the latest version of Firefox if it detects an older version installed. However, if you are having problems with your current application, it might be safer to uninstall as there might be a damaged file in Firefox application folder that might get carried over if you perform the upgrade. So after uninstalling from the Control Panel > Programs and Features, delete all of the residual files from your Mozilla Firefox folder in the program files:
* C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox (in most cases this one)
* C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
After deleting that folder, reinstall Firefox using the installer you downloaded. Your profile is stored in a separate folder as mentioned in my last post, so your customizations should still be saved once Firefox finishes installing. In case something happens you at least have your backups, and can follow the articles posted earlier to restore all of your settings.

Can't reinstall photoshop after system restore

After I installed lightroom 5 and photoshop cc I had to do a system restore. The CC application shows both are installed but photoshop CC is not anymore and I can't reinstall it because the app show it already is. How do I reset the CC app so I can do a clean install of Photoshop CC?

Had InDesign, Can't re-install after System Restore

Hello,
I need some help please.
I have Indesign setup on my machine with a cloud subscription..... I had to do a system restore yesterday after some windows updates screwed the PC up. Now I don't have InDesign on my machine and the Creative Cloud app still thinks the program is on my machine so wont let me download it again....
Any ideas?

my corecenter temp sometimes says im at 60 cel at idle....and i have the most recent update...i would rely on speedfan for temp control...core center seems to always read 3 degrees higher than speedfan on my pc....
i wouldnt be too concerned...those temps are pretty low to begin with.

Then restore from you Mac laptop's backup, if you have not been backing up then you may be in for a very painful lesson on why backing up is the VERY FIRST thing you should do with any new Mac. Create a backup plan and use it on a regular basis. If the laptop was using 10.5.x or later then you have absolutely no excuse for not backing up. Sorry for being terse and blunt but Time Machine has been built into 10.5.x, 10.6.x and 10.7.x so we have had years to have a seamless and mindless method of backing up. If you have been using an earlier verision of OS X there are quite a number of methods of backing up.
If you aren't successful then take the laptop and iMac to your local Apple Store or AASP and they may be able to help you recover your contacts.

Help ... My wife got an old laptop working again today. On there was an iTunes which she hadn't used for a year or more.
1. Marie plugged her 6 month old iPhone 4s into iTunes (the first time she had done this)
2. iTunes said she needed v 10.5 or above
3. She downloaded iTunes 10.7
4. She plugged iPhone back into iTunes
5. her iPhone showed the iTunes install screen
6. The screen message said an iPhone has already been synced with this iTunes (in fact it was an iPod Touch). She was asked whether she wanted to add this as a new iPhone, or if she wanted restore to "Marie's previous iPod Touch settings?"
7. You can guess what happened next. Marie mistakenly pressed Restore.
8. After she had done Restore, the phone asked her if she wanted to join iCloud and use location services etc. She clicked yes. However, by that time I am pretty sure she'd blanked the content on the iPhone by the mistaken restore from the old Touch.
8. We now have no photos, videos, contacts or text messages on the iPhone.It has been Restored with the content on what was a more or less blank iPod Touch.
QUESTION: I think she has replaced all of our content with, basically, nothing. We had many cherished photos and videos on there. Is there ANY way we can get our photos, videos etc back? Marie doesn't think she did a backup before Syncing her iphone.But would the phone have backed up previously, without her knowledge? Given that she had never plugged it into iTunesbefore...
First time we've used the Community. Marie is utterly distraught at the thought that we've lost tons of videos of our 2 year old daughter.

Have you rebooted mac? Then don't, until you checked the temporary directories. If your Aperture library went offline for some reason, Aperture may have written the images to the temporary caches.
Check these system folders, if you find any iPhone images
Quit Aperture.
Open a Terminal window and enter the following two line:
open $TMPDIR
This will open a Finder window with cryptically named folders. Dive into them and look for Aperture's Media cache folder. Are there any image files in the folder "com.apple.Aperture"?
Sometimes Aperture will write to that directory, if it cannot write to the Aperture library.
Also check the following location:
open /tmp
Added: Is there something special about the photos? Are they HDR photos, or taken i burst mode?

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).

Download iTunes 11 from the Apple site and reinstall. The error message was quite plain in telling you what to do to resolve the error.

I have solved my own problem !
If you go to the security serttings under your windows/outlook settings page and TURN OFF 2 step verification then you can login using your normail hotmail password.
If you have 2 step verification switched on, your IPAD cannot prompt you for a security code so it gets "stuck" I guess. Once I turned this off, I was able to add my hotmail back to the IPAD .... HOORAY
