..any joy finding an answer? I am stumped, too. Every day I convert Pages Docs to Word and PDF to forward to clients .. and all of the sudden last night Pages wouldn't let me convert. it was late -- I was frustrated, so I thought it was just me. Shoot me an answer if you found one. Tried rebooting, and no joy.

Can anyone help me figure out how to sync my ipod with my purchased music? I have used several computer and at one point synced my ipod with a computer that only had about half of my music. My other computers are no longer working. Not sure how to get my purchased music back onto my ipod?

Your previous purchases are saved on iCloud even if you bought them on another computer. If you can't find them on your current computer, you might need to unhide them. Go to iTunes preferences, and click on Store Preferences. Then click the box for "show iTunes in the Cloud purchases". Then click on OK, and everything you've ever bought from iTunes on that Apple ID will show up in your library. You will need to download them from iCloud first before you can synch them to your iPod Classic. To do this, click on the little cloud with the arrow in it next to your song, and it will download to your computer. When you have the music that you want downloaded, plug in your iPod and synch away. Hope this helps!

I made a website, but have now deleted it in order to take it down. However, after deleting it, the website is still online? Can anyone help me figure out how to remove the site completely?
The site is joehewett.uk and I am worried that now I do not have the files of the website I cannot remove it?
James.Did you delete the files from your Remote server?
Deleting the local site folder or the site definition in DW will have no effect on your remote site.
When I go to your URL, I see the index.html page with 16 code errors and this background image:

So the site is still online until you delete those files from your server.

I have FCPX 10.0.0 I'm trying to install updates. It's not allowing me to do this. The App Store says I did not buy the FCPX from the App store. Which I did. Can anyone help me figure out how to update my FCPX?
Hi , a similar thing happened to me with another piece of software .. it was then that I realized I have two accounts .. I have no recollection of setting up two but it seems I did somewhere along the line.. I have jimkells and the second is [email protected] .. so when I logged in as the other acc there it was and I was able to update .. could it be FCPX was bought on another user account ??

when i try to install snow leopard with install disk, it has me restart the computer instead of installing. can anyone help me figure out how to get the disk to actually install?
Ok, it's just a glitch that it's not auto-rebooting from the disk.
Please backup your personal files off the machine to a regualr external drive and disconnect all drives before doing anything
Take the 10.6 disk out and clean and polish the bottom with a very soft clean cloth and a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol to cut the oils.
Stick the disk in and reboot holding c key down, this will make it boot from the disk and you can install Snow Leopard that way. -
Running CS6 on a Macbook. Can anyone help me figure out how to record audio that is streaming on the Macbook? Under "Audio Hardware," my input choices are "Built in Mic" and "Built in Input." Neither does this.

Create a folder on you PC and copy the pictures you want on the iPad into that folder. Then start iTunes and plug in your iPad. In the column on the left (about half way down) click on the name of your iPad. Then click on the photos tab near the top and to the right of the screen. Check the box that says Sync photos and then select the folder you put your pictures in from the drop down menu on the screen. Then click Apply down at the bottom right hand side of the screen. Hope that helps!

Out of curiosity, if you have the time...
If you have the time, I'd like to see what the results of
this for you are. I'm seeing if I can eliminate the possibility of
our setup here at the office. Your email should be able to support
clickable links (no plain text), and your project should use the
TOC.
1. Go into a published project folder with .htm topic files
in it.
2. Open one of the topics that, when opened by itself, has
the clickable "Show" (or whatever verbiage you may have customized
it to) link.
3. Click "Show" so that the TOC appears.
4. In the browser, highlight and copy the address bar.
5. Paste that into an email and email it to yourself.
6. Click the link in the email.
Does this open the project to the topic you originally pasted
the link to, or does it just open the start page of the project?
This is much appreciated! If it just opens to the start page
with the TOC showing, I'm taking it that this is a common browser
reaction to this situation?It opens to the default topic. I thought Rick or someone
indicated in another thread that this is more the way the email
client handles it than the browser. If you use the # method in a
brower address bar it works. -
Can anyone help me figure out how to transfer music to a T-Mobile Sidekick?
I have a T-Mobile 2008 Sidekick, which is music capable.
Everytime I connect my phone to the computer,
it does not show up on the sidebar of my iTunes window.
My phone and the computer say they are connected.
Why does it not show up on iTunes?
Can anyone help me out, please?iTunes will not directly support your Sidekick. iTunes only directly supports Apple's devices. You'll need to use whatever software or procedure your Sidekick uses to transfer music, using that software/procedure to access the tracks directly from the iTunes Music folder (presuming that the tracks are in a format the Sidekick can support; if not, the tracks will need to be converted).

I have an imac osx 10.5.2 from about five years ago and recently my flash player stopped operating/responding. Does anyone know if I have to install a new flash player? I have attempted it several times and it won't let me. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to solve this problem. Do I need a new operating system?

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications (including Safari) first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

This is a semi-new problem, ongoing for several months. I've purchased songs from iTunes before and they play just fine on my Nano when connected to an audio jack cable, but for some reason, anything downloaded in the last few months plays at an insanely low volume. Normally, if I hit the advance button on the Nano to skip to the next song I'll hear a split second of the song at normal volume, but that's it.
I've restored both the iPod and my iTunes (using a Dell laptop, Windows 7) multiple times but to no avail. The songs play fine in iTunes itself, but I've even noticed a decrease in volume when listening to the songs on headphones. I'm beyond frustrated with this as I can't find any support online in the Apple archives, and I can't listen to any of my new music without burning to disc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!I have, a couple different pairs, unfortunately, and still no change. TBH, the headphones don't bug me nearly as bad as the fact that I can't plug my iPod into a radio or speaker with an audio cable and hear my latest purchases. Drives me crazy that I can't listen to my tunes!

everytime i try to turn on my ipod the apple logo appears and then a battery with a exclemation mark in a litlle triangle appears, and once i got it on it won't play the songs, it just goes through them w/o playing it for a second. I can't figure it out. What should i do?

Have you tried resetting it while it's connected? To reset hold the MENU and SELECT (center) buttons until you see the Apple logo.
