Can anyone help me ? - i Movie - Burn CD / DVD

Hoping someone can help me. My son has edited a video in i movie which is now sitting in his project libary ( version 2009 ) he needs to burn this edited video onto a CD / DVD. I am sorry to be asking such simple things, but how do I go about doing such a thing successfully ??. Also he needs to be able to play this video, once burned, on a PC.. can this be done without any issues ? Thank You ...
