Can anyone help me on a support problem?

I e-mailed my original request for help on photoshop cs4 filter problems on 09/22/09. since then I have called tech support twice. I think that was in India. The first time a women spent a couple of hours trying to help me fix the problem. She was unable to solve my problem. She said I would get a call back within 24 hours. I did not get a call back. After waiting about 4 days I called tech support again. I ask the women that answered to give me a supervisor, I told the supervisor I had not received a call back as promised. He said they were still working on the problem. I told him he should have called me back as promised. He said that my case had been escalated, and he was going to handle it personally, and he would call me back before the end of the day. That was last week, I have received no call backs on my problem as yet! Is this typical Photoshop tech support? Good customer service. Does this company care about my business. How do I get this issue resolved. Below is my second e-mail request. Monday, October 26, 2009 3:55:41 PM PDT I now have the extract tool under filters, but I can not use it. It is not highlighted I can not click it with my mouse. If I change my pictures to jpg. then the filter is useable. I don't work on my pictures in jpg. this is the second time I asked for help on thi s problem. Adoby cs4 was a gift to me two years ago. I would like it to have the filters it should have, so I can try to learn the p rogram. Please don't lose the e-mail too.

Sounds like you have installed some kind of Safari extension or plug-in that is no longer compatible with Safari. Go to Safari -> Preferences -> Extensions and see what's there. Disable anything that matches the error message, or disable everything if you can't figure out which one it is. You could also try checking for updates, though generally browser toolbar plugins are worse than worthless and should be deleted.

You could try duplicating the Domain.sites2 file and launch this in iWeb. Delete the last page you edited and try saving. If that doesn't work, undo and try deleting another and so on...
If you can find the problem page you would only have to rebuild it rather than the whole site.
The other possibility is to create a new site on the same domain file and drag each page in turn down to it from the top site and try to save each time.

I'm creating a website using Dreamweaver MX 2004 and making a
real mess of it!
I have created two pages which are identical in terms of
background, but one has a text box in the middle. What I want to
happen when you click the link to this page is the first one
without the text box appears for a couple of seconds, then the
other page automatically loads to give the impression that this
text box has magically appeared. really simple, but I can't find
any behaviour codes to make this happen!
Can anyone help me out with a code or give me a clue to how
it can be achieved really easily.

You can try just using the same page and hiding and showing
the layer using the Behaviors menu. that would acheive the same
thing without having to load another page.

Basically i totally not understand your question and i believe also nobody would understand what is your question. You mean your persistence APIs, but you didnt show how the APIs and just use it, i can say that, the only different of that JDBC and your 'persistence', is your JDBC isnt commit function(not include auto-commit). What i can see is that's all.
But the idea of usage DB conn API should be correct with the 3 steps,
Begin - Open connection
Query - insert/update/delete
Close - commit
catch - Rollback

Can anyone help with a Flash Player problem on the Weight Watchers site?

I'm having problems with the Weight Watchers web site. I've tried loading it with IE9, IE8, Chrome and Firefox. There's a specific area of the site (Pro Points Calculator) which continually flashes. I can't stop it and I can't access the icons underneath it. Also the Plan Manager, which contains several other tools, will not load. I've contacted WW who say their site set up "is not unique but it is rare which is why other websites will work while ours may seem not to. Please contact your web browser trouble shooting team". I've loaded the latest version of Flash Player (11), tried compatability view, cleared the cache, enabled cookies etc. all to no avail. I've even spent almost an hour on the phone with the Techguys who say it is a compatability problem between the web browsers and flashplayer. I'm stuck!! Can anyone help me with a tagging problem?

I have the latest version of ITunes on my Windows 7 machine. The problem I am having is as follows, I tag a song on my IPod and it shows up in the playlist as it should. When I go to buy it however, it won't purchase. Can someone please help me solve this issue? On a side note, I changed my sound theme in Windows the other day, and now when I open ITunes and my IPod syncs, it doesn't make the little chime noise it used to telling me that the sync is done.

My daughter got her iphone 5. I had gone in store and bought a case for mine and asked store manager about changing her phone number. He said for her to activate the 5 first, then go online and change the number...to not go in store to change the number that she needed to do it online.
She did this...activated the 5, everything working fine...went online to change number...number changed but phone not working.
Called tech support. First thing he says she should not have done it online....should have changed it in store. He tried for over an hour to get her 5 working or even to reactivate the 4, which he couldn't. He tried to find a sim card for her in the area, but none to be found....he has to find one and send so she may be able to have phone by Tuesday. SHE HAS NO PHONE AND THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Does anyone here know another way that tech support may have missed that can help her. Thanks for any help.

Ensuring your daughter is able to communicate while she's mobile is extremely important. I'm terribly sorry for the mobile number change disabling her sim card.
One good suggestion here from the community was to remove the sim card and reinsert it. I do want to elaborate on that a bit. You should have the phone completely powered off and I would recommend the sim to be out for at least 30 seconds.
Put the sim back in and power the phone back on. Hopefully that will kick it into gear on the database side. If not the new sim will work.
I can't apologize more for this and I hope all is well now.

Can anyone help me fault find this problem? (Win 8.1 to Win 7 Remote Desktop issue )

Hi,
I am connecting from a Win 8.1 machine at home into a Win 7 machine at work. I connect through Dell Global VPN.
This works ok wirelessly, but in order to get better performance I wanted to connect to the internet via wired ethernet instead.
I can get ethernet working on home machine and connect to internet - no problem. But whenever I try to log into work machine that way, it doesn't like it and says there is an internal error.
Just to re-iterate, this works fine wirelessly, just not via ethernet. I can connect to VPN ok but can't access Win 7 machine via ethernet.
If I switch back to wireless, it works.
I would love to resolve if anyone has suggestions how to get to the bottom of it?

Hi everyone! I have downloaded the Desktop Manager Software on to my desktop. I've clicked on the "media" option in the main menu.
I am brought to a screen that has 2 options. "Media Manager" and " Blackberry Media Sync".
Now, I want to download themes and wallpaper, but in order to do that, I need to select "Media Manager" correct? ... Unfortunately this option is not available. I have my blackberry on, and is connected to the USB port. I am able to click "start" on the "Blackberry Media Sync" option, but not on Media Manager. If anyone could help me out, this would be greatly appreciated. I am going absolutely insane trying to figure this out! Thx for your help!!!!

It seems clear to me that if you unplug your AirPort Extreme and those Wi-Fi networks still appear, they are not being created by your Extreme but by someone else's router. They won't be useful to you.
To eliminate confusion, open System Preferences > Network, and select Wi-Fi from the left column. Click the Advanced... button. In the "Preferred Networks" list, select each Network Name and click the "–" (minus) button. Check the box "Remember networks this computer has joined". Click OK, then Apply.
Then select your PalmSprings network in your Mac's Wi-Fi menu. Ignore any others that may appear there.
If you still have funky problems, try renaming your AirPort Extreme's network to something other than PalmSprings. Use "Palm Springs" (including the space character - spaces are OK) or something else. Other networks with similar or identical names will just confuse things.
Use a non-trivial WPA/WPA2 password for your Wi-Fi network. Give your Extreme base station a non-trivial password as well. These ought to be different from one another, but are not required to be. Doing so will preclude any concern about your network being "hacked".

Can anyone help me with a screen problem?

I have recently purchased a screen protector from Amazon and the process of installing this screen protector requires some sort of spray. So I used the spray and installed the screen protector and it created a shadowy effect and decreased the visibility of the screen. I took the screen protector off and it is still there. Also depending on what angle you view the screen it shows the squeegee marks that was used to take air bubbles out and a splash mark. Certain sections are bright or dark depending on the view also. So I do not know if this is caused from the light sensitivity or water damage. Does anyone have any suggestions on fixing this problem?

I'm not saying that the inbuilt usual level of brightness is too bright - it was fine when I first bought it and it ran normally for months. However lately the computer starts with the brightness at its usual maximum level and then about a minute later it becomes much more bright -perhaps I should take before and after shots.

I don't know if you can actually see a difference or if it looks normal because the pictures both look like the same to me because of the brightness. Another thing I noticed was that the files inside the folders didn't appear until the brightness did which leads me to believe that something is loading to cause the brightness though I could be wrong.

Can anyone help me with bluetooth audio problem?

I was able to pair my 4s with my bluetooth with no problem. However, it automatically also pairs with BTaudio (I have a 2011 Subaru Forrester). So when I get into my car and turn on BT, it connects with BT audio and my music from my itunes starts playing. I have to remember to pause it everytime I get into the car or it stays on and eats up my battery. I went to the Apple store and called Subaru and noone know what to do. I can't seem to pair it only with bluetooth. Anyone else have this problem and know what I can do about it?

The problem is in the car; it is requesting that the music play as soon as the iPhone connects. I have the same problem with my Prius. Except I unpaired it, then paired it again and this time said NO to play music via BT. When I want to play music from the phone I plug it in to the USB outlet in the car, which also charges the phone and gives me Toyota's Entune Internet access through the phone. But it also starts playing as soon as I connect it, which I agree is annoying.

Can anyone help me on a support problem?
