Can anyone help me re transferring music

I want to copy the music that I have on my iphone and ipad into my existing itunes library but when I go to sync them it says that the music will be wiped off my device and replaced with the music from the library.
Can anyone help?

Your computer needs to be authorized with the same iTunes account.
With your iPhone connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
Repeat with your iPad.
This is for all iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store only - music, movies, TV shows, ringtones, audio and print books, and 3rd party apps.

Resetting Phone
Resetting Settings on phone
Change Headsets to speakers
Reinstalled Phone
Updated to IOS 7.1
No of the above has resolved the issue does anyone have any ideas?

Hi! I have had this Zen for about 2 years now but I had only got the chance to put music on it. I ended up moving awhile ago and completely forgot all about my Zen mp3 and I found it! So now am trying to figure out how to transfer my music from my Zen player onto my computer. Thanks a lot

I was having a similar proble. My Zen Micro was saying that errors occured while trying to sync from the player back to the computer. If the same thing happens to you, the problem is in your music. A dead giveaway is the file type. If your music is?a WMA file rather than an MP3, there's a security device that is embedded in the file that prevents you from syncing back to the computer. There is software that exists that strips that device and converts to MP3, but you have to have the songs on the computer first. I haven't figured that out yet. if you have any luck with this, post back.

i just recently got a new computer and all my music is on my ipod. is there anyway i can transfer the music and pictures from my ipod onto my comptuer. i have alot of stuff on there i cant get back and i really dont want to loose it.

iCloud.com doesn't store your music files.
Re-install iTunes. I doubt you've even deleted its Library folder or your music.

The music you purchased belongs to you forever. Simply authorize the computer using the same Apple ID that you used to purchase it.

Backing up to iCloud should have nothing to do with how your music plays. Try force-closing the misic app: from the home screen, double-tap the home button, locate Music in the list at the bottom, tap and hold it until it wiggles, tap to close it, tap the home button again. Try your music again.

Audiobooks are a one-time only download from the store, so you won't be able to redownload them via the Purchased link. Do you have a copy of them on your iPod or on your backup of your downloads/library ? If not, and if they are still in your country's store, then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

I am having the same problem. I have just tried this. Unplug iphone > open itunes > delete all music from itunes library > close itunes > re-open itunes > add music from original folder > plug in iphone > select songs > press sync > unplug iphone using eject button onscreen > checked phone .... still nothing in music folder on phone. On itunes the "On this iphone" tab the songs remain there but greyed out.

Have downloaded for example: Queen – Bohemium Rhapsody from a compilation album as well as a few complete Queen Album CDs into the iTunes library and then put them into playlists,
When I go onto my phone and select Queen on the MUSIC app using Songs tab at the bottom of the screen it will display all Queen songs and their resective Alum pics, that is all those not in a complilation album, .
If I know the song title I can select the songs tab and find the song that way,
I’ve tried fiddling with the settings in the iTunes app by going to ‘get info’ tab and trying to sort the problem out that way but am not having much luck.What I want the phone to do is show, for example all Queens songs including those in compilation albums. Can this be done, would be grateful for any ideas on how it can be done, that is if ic can be done, any ideas

Try assigning Queen as the Album Artist on the compilations in iTunes on your computer.

It sounds like even though the Mute switch is not on, sounds are not making the, well, sound they should, and the volume buttons make a blank volume indicator appear on the screen that does not show the volume level.
I wanted to recommend a couple of things.
First, I would reset the phone:
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
From: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If that does not resolve the issue, then you may want to try backing up to iTunes, and restoring the iPhone again but this time do not restore the backup and set it up as new to see if the issue persists without the previous configuration.

Enabling iTunes Match does not delete music from your computer. Why do you think it is now not in the iTunes library if it was before? If all of your music was in the iTunes library then it is also now in the cloud if iTunes has completed it's scan and all the music meets the match requirements. Enable the iCloud Status column in the iTunes browser by switching to Song view and pulling down View > View Options. Select iCloud Status then close the small window. Sort on the new column. Your music should be listed as "purchased," "matched" and "uploaded." Some tracks may be "ineligible." Post back and let us know.
