Can anyone out their measure their memory voltage with software? I tried the winbond monitor but the vdimm is all messed up.

Well if you have an MSI motherboard Try there CoreCenter Software.. I think it moniters CPU Voltage and Mem Voltage.. Not completey sure but give it a try hope it helps

Can ANYONE spot the memory leak??

Hi, I have some code here, and there is a SERIOUS memory leak. Basically, I realized the leak was there when a report tried to execute this 100,000+ times and it bogged the system down to a crawl. Can anyone spot the leak? I will explain the variables below the code:

I had also tried to use the ReleaseStringUTFChars after making the check of whether it does a copy or not.
For me in Windows, it works fine most of the time. But when I go on increasing the no. of strings in a Vector of objects to more than 500 or something , then it occasionally fails.
Just before ReleaseStringUTF, I do have the copied string in char* .
Soon after Releasing, I do get a junk in the character array.
I dont know why it happens like this.
Please advice.
Everyone suggest ReleaseStringUTF.
But why it fails in Windows.
And any one know about how it will behave in Alpha.
It totally fails in Alpha.
I could not get the string at all.

Can anyone confirm their bluetooth connection to car works fine?

I am having issues with incoming calls not displaying the phone number or contact name on my car's display. Can anyone confirm that your S4 is able to "push" this incoming call information to your car's display over bluetooth? Thanks!

Here is my story so far:
I properly synced my new S4 to my car (2012 Prius Gen III - Package IV) and refreshed my phone book. All contacts are shown on my car's display. Out going calls work fine and I can use voice command to dial by name and all the proper details and picture of my contact show up on the screen for outgoing calls. However, if I receive an incoming call from the same exact contact, it shows up with this message "incoming call from unknown". If I later go into my call history, it shows that call with the proper phone number so I know my car is able to match the phone number with the contact. I think the issue must relate to the S4 not properly pushing the phone number or caller id to my car when it gets a new incoming call.
Here is the strange part, my old phone (Droid X) had no problems syncing with my car and both incoming and outgoing calls would show the proper contact person on the display screen.
I just synced my wife's iphone 5 to the car and both outgoing and incoming calls are displayed just fine.
I just synced my co-workers Droid Razor (4.1.2) and that works fine.
Based on this, my assumption is there is a problem syncing with Galaxy S4 and/or perhaps the bluetooth version with 4.2.2.

Can anyone get their digital copy codes from LOTR extended blu-ray to work on iTunes Mac?

Bought LOTR extended edition combo pack back when they first came out, but never used the digital copy codes. Now my 13 year old wants to get them on his iPad, but the codes appear to be expired (6/26/12). I see talk online about WB extending the expiration of codes, but I still can't seem to figure out how to get these to work. Can anyone help?

It must be super quick.
Any help with hardware would be appreciated.
Software is secondary at this point , but open to advice.

There is no desktop machine that I know of that will support 30+ monitors as is.
Fill the 3 or 4 PCIe slots of any logic board with three port graphics cards and you have the physical cap without additional hardware.

No, without software, how can you control more than the monitor limit of the OS?
How can you set up the monitors to display the various programs that you will wish to use simultaneously?
Software is a major consideration.
Matrox (and others) have solutions for additional monitors beyond the physical capabilities of generally offered graphics cards.
The caveat here, however, is support software is typically reserved for Windows and Linux systems.

We are in the process of evaluating JavaCAPS 6.3. Currently our JavaCAPS is on version JavaCAPS 6.2 running on IBM AIX server. Can anyone share their experience of upgrading existing JavaCAPS 6.2 upgrade to JavaCAPS 6.3? We are planning to do an in-place upgrade from JavaCAPS 6.2 to JavaCAPS 6.3.
Is it necessary to re-compile and re-deploy all projects when we upgrade to JavaCAPS 6.3. We are planning to do an in-place upgrade.

yes and no . You need as well weblogic + soa files as the database schemas (soa_infra, mds...).

I am about to buy an HP w2207h monitor to hook up to my MacBook Pro via a straight DVI-HDMI cable (not an adapter).
Can anyone give me their brightness, contrast, color, etc. settings that seem to work well for maximum clarity and crispness in OS X? Also, any other settings that I should set via the OS X System Preferences panel as well?

I think the easiest way to do this is to have the EyeTV app running in one user account and sent via HDMI to the TV, and use a separate user account for Screen Sharing. Both logins can be active at the same time and with Lion you can connect via screen sharing to which ever login you need.
With regards to the Mac video resolution changing, when it is not the current input on your AV receiver. This is 'normal', if the Mac sees no signal it drops down the a lower level. What you need is to buy a HDMI Detective Plus which tricks the Mac in to always seeing a signal and hence it will not drop down the resolution. See http://www.gefen.com/kvm/dproduct.jsp?prod_id=8005
The Mac mini does have an IR receiver. This can be used with the EyeTV app, iTunes, and similar. Yes I believe EyeTV would run for prolonged periods quite happily, it is has been around for a long time and had most of the rough edges polished off. However one issue you will have to deal with is that it does not automatically update its program guide data. For this you might have to write or modify an AppleScript. Elgato support or their user forums will be a lot of help.
You can set EyeTV to convert recordings to an iTunes (Apple TV) compatible format and then delete them from EyeTV.
The HDMI Detective should solve your handshaking problems.

I can only see some of the information of my Facebook friends in my Contacts. For example, a friend has a birthday today. I received an email that she and another friend have birthdays this week. I received a notification on my iPhone and iPad that her birthday was today. It was never displayed in my Notification Center or Calendar beforhand, like it's displayed for other friend's (for other friends, it's displayed in the Notification Center, with the Calendar icon, 1 day before). I looked at every setting I could think of and the Help pages on Facebook. Nothing is working. My friend with the birthday today has her birthday openly listed on her Profile information on her Facebook page. In my contacts, her Facebook email (the one Facebook assigns you when you join) is listed. However her picture and birthday are not listed. I displayed my Facebook Contacts only, and roughly 20 showed up and not the rest. It's like the devices are not recognizing those people and putting their information in the respective places. I have an iPad 3rd Gen, iPhone 5, and MacBook Pro (purchased in January 2013. I hope that helps) and ALL the software updates are current. Can anyone help? Also, my MacBook cannot access my Contacts from Yahoo. Despite my typing in the correct password repeatedly as well as deleting and adding the Yahoo account again. I have a new Mac mini and are using an Acer monitor. Unfortunately, the Acer will not show any image on a startup from cold. It does however work completely correctly when restarting from 'sleep' condition. Can anyone help? Thanks in anticipation.

I have a new Mac mini- changed from Windows XP. I have a peculiar problem. I use an Acer monitorwith the Mac which works fine when the Mac is 'un-sleeped'. But, if I have shutdown the Mac the Acer does not recognisethe start up - at least it shows nothing on screen. When I have shut down - nowknowing the problem, I use an old Samsung monitor to cope with the start up -it does so fine - and then put the Mac to 'sleep', then change monitors andrestart the Mac - the Acer is now fine. I am using the same cables for theSamsung and the Acer. The Acer had no problems with my old Windows system -from sleep or shut down. I really do not think there is anything wrong with theAcer - could it be some sort of recognition problem? Please can anyone assist.Donald Picton

I posted the same question a day ago with no response. I'm using an Acer x193w. You actually don't have to switch monitors to get it to work. Just make sure you turn off the monitor after shutting down the Mac mini (actually push the power button on the monitor, not just let it go to sleep). If you turn on the monitor (push the power button on the monitor), then power up the Mac mini, the monitor is recognized. The issue didnt exist with Snow Leopard for me. It only started after I started using Lion. Hope this issue gets fixed In a future OS update.
