Can anyone point direction to Upgrade Guides with Veritas Cluster solution?

Hello,
I would like to know if there's specific information about upgrading an R/3 system to ERP 6 which uses veritas cluster solution for high availability on Solaris 10
Are there any guides or considerations I should take into account before starting the upgrade process?
Thank you!
Maria

Hi,
You can check SAP Note 1012486- Important Information on upgrading SAP Systems in HA-Setups.

  • Can anyone point me in the right direction for the link to download Acrobat 9 Standard?  I found the link to download 9 Pro but not standard.  Old computer crashed and new computer does not have a CDR/DVD rom drive.

    Can anyone point me in the right direction for the link to download Acrobat 9 Standard.  I found the link to download 9 Pro but not standard.  Old computer crashed and new computer does not have a CDR/DVD rom drive.

    Hi,
    Standard or Pro would be licensed through your serial number, the download link and downloaded file would be the same for both of them.
    Pro or Standard would be determined after you put in your serial number.

    If you are using File Vault, turn it off.  To find out where all the extra space is use any of these products - Disk Inventory X

    Hard to see it's so teeny. I needed a magnifying glass.

    They're both white -- I'll give you that.
    What I was thinking of more when I said similar in design was the way that the AirPort Express simply hangs on a wall, no desk or shelf shape required, with the bare minimum of cables. By the same token, I'd like to have a small amp and/or speakers that could hang/be mounted on the wall and deliver music into the room via AirTunes -- without an octopus of cables and without having to dedicate an entire tabletop to it (audio should be heard and not seen.)
    Well, that would be great, but there are way too many variations of audio equipment for people with all kinds of tastes to make for a worthwhile market. Whereas I might think it's silly to have more than a 100W stereo amp others would consider that pathetic.
    If Apple could pack a 100W+ amp into something that hangs off a power outlet, more power to them. I was thinking more along the lines of 5-10W, or just enough to power some wall mounted speakers. That said, [these speakers|http://store.apple.com/us/product/TU902VC/A?fnode=MTY1NDA1NA&mco=Mjc4M jI1MQ] look somewhat promising. It looks like they could be powered off the USB on the AEX, so at least no power brick. Unfortunately, they don't look geared to wall mounting, and who knows what the audio cable connections look like (because the ad deceptively photoshopped them out of the picture.)
    The Express's low power analog output, plus optical, not to mention an Ethernet port, router, bridge, a/b/g/n wireless access point and USB printer port in such a tiny package with a self-contained power supply is a such a generalist's piece of connectivity I can't imagine asking for anything more.
    It is a pretty impressive package. But, I'm still asking for GigE in the next rev.

    can anyone provide a pdf for starting with webdynpro

    Hello,
    I would suggest to consult the web dynpro area here at SDN (<a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/developerareas/webdynpro">link</a>). Here you can find tons of information. (links to general information, example programs, pdf's, etc.). Once you got yourself familiar with web dynpro, another resource is help.sap for more detailed information.

  • Can anyone help me solving this problem with Mail?

    I haven´t being able to send emails with MAIL for two days. I have managed 7 email accounts with 3 different servers for more than 2 years with no problem until last Monday.
    Basically, what I can notice as unusual is this message from Connection Inspector:
    220-We do not authorize the use of this system to transport unsolicited,
    220 and/or bulk e-mail.
    But I have copy/pasted what Connection Inspector says:

    Can anyone help me solving this question with explaination .
    Given:
    11. public String makinStrings() {
    12. String s = ?Fred?;
    13. s = s + ?47?;
    14. s = s.substring(2, 5);
    15. s = s.toUpperCase();
    16. return s.toString();
    17. }
    How many String objects will be created when this method is invoked?
    A. 1
    B. 2
    C. 3
    D. 4
    E. 5
    F. 61 is created at line 13 as a result of StringBuilder.toString().
    1 is created at line 14 as a result of substring().
    1 is created at line 15 as a result of toUpperCase().
    The Strings "Fred" and "47" at lines 12 and 13 are NOT created when that method is invoked. They are created when the class is loaded.
    Note, however, that some of this is based on current implementations, NOT on requirements of the JLS or VM spec, so really, the answers could be different. Overall, it's a poorly thought out question.

  • Can anyone recommend a free file uploader with progress bar?

    Can anyone recommend a free file uploader with progress bar?
    I have searched google but with no luck.
    Ideally it would be a DW extension but that might be wishing
    for too much.
    I would like a large file limit for video and multiple file
    extensions allowed.
    Thanks in advance

    Heya,
    Check out this due Waleed he has some nice tuts and here's
    a
    link
    to file upload with progress bar tutorial he has. Granted it
    looks like it's just an animated gif letting users know their file
    is uploading; if you want realtime upload information displayed for
    the user you're gonna have to look at something like Flash with the
    power of actionscript to achieve that result.
    Hope that helps!

  • Seriously. I have been charged over £200 for supposedly free apps. I need to report this and cannot anywhere find how I can do this. In UK. Please can anyone point me in the right direction.

    Can anyone help. Especially Apple who don't seem to want to allow anyone to report a problem. It's taken me an hour to get this far. I've been charged nearly £100 for apps that are free in the app store - racing penguins for one which is free but billed to me at £6.99! How can I get a refund and stop this happening again...

    There is no subscription section in my account.
    I am paranoid after reading the above post but it seems there is no way to turn off initial purchases, only renewals can be turned off.
    1) Do all apps explicitly ask if you want to purchase a subscription and give the price?
         Is that required and controlled by Apple?
    2) Or is it possible an app will just charge and give you a subscription when
        a) the app is installed or b) when it is run the first time?
    If # 2 is a posibility then:
    We should be able to disable initial purchases so we don't wind up spending 100's by accident.
    Then if they are disabled we would have to re-enable them to get a subscription
      and after we could disable them again.  If #2 can happen that would be the only way to
      stop an accidental purchase from happining.
    Why - because I know from other places on the internet it ir Real Easy to miss
       something in the fine print no matter how dilligent you are about reading the Terms.
    Can someone answer the questions 1 & 2?
    And if 2 is possible - can anyone offer any advice (besides read carefully - I know that)?
    Thanks

  • Can anyone offer direction?

    Hello,
    I am a new  website designer/developer and have been using Adobe tools, Classroom in  a Book lessons, and Lynda.com to give myself a crash course, and am  learning fast. But I have been asked to develop a website that is  outside of my scope and need some direction on where to start.
    The  site is going to be an e-commerce site, with extra user interactivity  options. So users will access the site, upload their own photos, crop  and move, change fonts, and add words to a product that they will then  order and pay for.
    I see two components here - the  shopping cart portion, and the interactivity portion.The client  (luckily, my sister-in-law) also wants to be able to edit the site  herself. On a level of professionalism, she wants POLISH - a 9 on a  scale of 1-10.
    I have viewed information/tutorials on  Business Catalyst, Cartweaver, PHP, Coldfusion, MySQL, AJAX, Spry,  Flash, Dreamweaver and Wordpress...and I am still a bit lost on which of  the above to focus on - or something else entirely?
    Can anyone recommend? I have CS5.

    function(){return A.apply(null,[this].concat($A(arguments)))}
    function(){return A.apply(null,[this].concat($A(arguments)))}Laurena, turn back now since you are still young and have a life!! lol, just kidding.  I got into web design about 10 years ago, thinking it would be a fun job. I tell ya, I've spent so much time hitting the coding books that If I spent this much time on medical text-books, i'd be a brain surgeon by now making some decent cash. And the languages seem to evolve quite rapidly. CSS is the main culprit of frustration, you will spend more than half of your time trying to make your site look consistent across multiple browswers. Not fun!!
    Hola
    This has to be the best answer so far in this forum
    It made may day
    Thank you for posting this Mike

  • Why can't I select and move guides with selection tools?

    I'm using Illustrator CC and I cannot select and move guides with the selection tools. The guides are not locked. I can select the guides in the Layers Panel, but I can only move with the arrow keys. I can also "Release" the guides once they are selected in the Layers Panel, but I still cannot move them with the mouse - only the arrow key.
    Summary of Problem:
    Guides are not locked.
    Some guides can only be moved when they are selected in the Layer Panels and when using the arrow keys
    Non-selectable Guides can be "Released" but only altered in color and line weight and still only moved with the arrow keys.
    Desired Outcome:
    I want to be able to move all guides using the mouse for greater accuracy vs the arrow keys.
    Thank you for your help.

    Channing, anotherhead,
    The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
    1) Close down Illy and open again;
    2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
    3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
    4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
    5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
    Even more seriously, you may:
    6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.
