Can anyone point me toward a tutorial/video/anything that will show me how to use iMovie '11?
The Apple video tutorial was just a commercial. Other info I found on Apple site was for the iPad. I have a MacBook Pro. I need to learn how to use iMovie '11 from the start. Very start. To borrow a line from a movie 'Talk to me like I'm a 5-year-old.' For example, what is the difference between a 'project' and an 'event'? Which one do I create first? How do I adjust the exposure and color on my movies? Once I am done with my movie how do I tell computer/software to 'save' it because I am done. Then where is it? These are just examples.
I'd love to find any basic tutorial/video/help.
I got a book but it's way too advanced.

Can anyone recommend a solid, cheap mono laser printer that will work with Mac OS X?

Thanks!I've been interested in this for some time and it all seems rather difficult. I had a Samsung ML-1610 mono laser before I bought my iMac three years ago. It worked fine with a Windows 98 laptop and was cheap and I think a bit of an out of date model then. When I bought the Mac one thing that worried me was - would the printer work? Discovered ML-1610 is not Mac compatible at all (officially). Searching for some time found various suggestions to make it work. The simplest was to download driver for ML-1710 and yes it DID work and still does. I even bought a replacement toner cartridge. Samsung mono laser printers are very good value but seem to be NOT very Mac friendly, even the models that are Mac compatible. It is too risky to get involved with models that are not on the Mac drivers list. Also not too happy about models that have Gutenprint or CUPS drivers. Yes, I believe Brother is quite Mac friendly, don't know how cheap. Mac showrooms don't have cheap mono laser printers, the style just isn't right, but they are great. I would never go back to an inkjet.

Goal is to make a picture in a picture frame become a moving image.
I am trying now to figure out how to make a hole in a video by subtracting a 16x9 sized rectangle.

depending on how complicated your shot is, you may be able to get away with simply placing the image within the frame on top of the background shot. Then resize down to fit. You may then need to tweak its corners using the corner pin tool to get it to sit in the right perspective plane. You may find you need to soften the edges of the top layer image so its not so sharp and hard. For this you probably would need to add a mask and soften its edges. Then you might need to add some noise and/or colour correction to make it sit naturally with the background image. and finally if there are any shadows cast over the picture frame you will need to add them back over the new image. You can use a black shape, with its opacity cranked down with a blur filter on it.
The manual describes all of these process pretty well.

Standard or Pro would be licensed through your serial number, the download link and downloaded file would be the same for both of them.
Pro or Standard would be determined after you put in your serial number.

I just bought photoshop elements 13 last night. Today I am watching tutorial videos to show me how to use it, but the videos are showing me things I don't have. Asking me to click on tabs i don't have. Why is this? Is there another way I can learn? Or is my download messed up and not giving me everything I need?

I recently deleted approximately 80gb of space on my hard drive by dragging items to the trash and then emptying the trash. However, the space does not show up on my HD as free. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
If you are using File Vault, turn it off. To find out where all the extra space is use any of these products - Disk Inventory X

I have an older Power Mac G5 Quad, and my video card just went out. I am trying to find a video card that will work for my Power Mac. Where can i find a tutorial on how to use iMovie 2013 version?
I've been making some clips anywhere from 6 seconds to 15 seconds long, and I just wanted if there are any good links on how to use iMovie 2013 version. I've looked on youtube but everything on their are old clips or small clips on how to run the program. I'm not an advanced user but i've picked up some of the basics on iMovie. I just want to learn the basics and advance onto the harder setups with iMovie. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Check the system requirements for the various versions of Photoshop Elements and see which suits your system. Adobe only sells the most recent versions of their software, so if you need an older version you will need to find a vendor for it.

Can anyone help me find my old library now that I appear to have deleted it or overwritten it accidentally? I'm always asked if I want to update when I put in my i-pod and have to do that before I can open my library so I think it was this action that caused me to delete previous library. Can anyone help? Apple support have been hopeless as they don't seem to respond to this particular problem but keep giving me answers to finding my purchases which i already know how to do!

Andy's reply will show you how to make a table scroll horizontally, but it will be tough to accomplish it in some sort of easily replicable way. I am working on a JQuery extension that will help accomplish this, but I have had my time invested in another project at the moment.

It wasn't the case before the upgrade to v 9.2 (Iphoto 11) yesterday.
The previous solution preferences - advanced - "select a store" (last option) doesn't solve it anymore.

Hello - can anyone tell me why my iPad (4th Gen) screen will no longer rotate. I don't have a screen lock symbol next to the battery icon. I have the rotate icon on my desktop but still can't get the screen to rotate.
Double-click the Home button and swipe Task Bar to the right. Check the Rotation Lock on the far left of Task Bar.
