Manage historical data that will be used in grouping by webforms/reports?

Our system receives transactions in a per-minute basis, and each transaction is stored in a
Raw Data table that's exclusively for this. All reports, gridview webforms, etc come from tables that are derived from this master table.
In this case I can't group the data during run-time due to the volume of data. So for tasks like the daily summary, should I just have a job that runs once daily and groups all the data from the current day and inserts it into a historical daily table? The
same thing with the weekly?
I considered using BIDS and creating a cube, but due to the presentation of the data, it was beginning to look more complex. In other words, in order to show the desired result in a grid (plus include filters), I would need to use tons of MDX, which I still
don't master.

I agree with kalman, this is the right way to deal with reporting and big tables, in most cases it is better to have 2 databases, one fore the original data, and one for the reporting which include this summarized data.
Regarding the CUBE, this is a good option especially if your reports are more complex and includes several dimensions. on a simple case I don't think you should use CUBEs. But in order to make this dissension you need to understand the idea of using cube
and the idea of dimensions:-)

Apps like MacKeeper or any other maintenance apps like CleanMyMac 1 or 2, TuneUpMyMac, MacCleanse or anything like these apps, installed on your Mac, while they appear to be helpful, can do too good a job of data "cleanup" causing the potential to do serious data corruption or data deletion and render a perfectly running OS completely dead and useless leaving you with a frozen, non-functional Mac.
Plus, these type of apps aren't really necessary OR needed. They really aren't.
There are manual methods to clear off unnecessary data off of your Mac that are safer and you have complete control over your Mac and not just leave a piece of auto cleaning software in charge of clearing off data off of your Mac. Their potential of causing OS X issues outweighs the implied good and benefits these types of hard drive or memory "cleaning" apps are written to do.
These types of system 'cleaning" apps are very poorly written and are really a scam to rob newbie and novice Mac users of their hard earned cash for a poorly written maintenance program that will do much more harm to a perfectly normal running OS X system than the good that the app developers purport these types of apps will do.
Plus, the software companies that write these apps make it hard to easily uninstall these apps if something DOES go wrong and these apps work in a way where you have no recovery or revert function to return your Mac back to its former, working state in the event something does go wrong.
It is best to never, EVER download and install these types of apps.
The risk to your system and important data is too great a risk!

Can anyone tell me how the Enterprise Profiler is used?

I followed the steps in the tutorial to configure the profiler, unfortunately none of the steps could be completed. I'm currently using Sun Java Application Server to deply J2EE applications. I just can find the profiler anywhere in the IDE, help~~~~

2. Enable data collection: JSE8-> Run -> Profile -> Enable Collection
3. Open profiler: JSE8-> Run -> Profile -> Open Profiler. This opens Enterprise Application Profiler and short Profiler User Guide.

How can I create groups on my Iphone

I need to create a group so that when I need to text a certain group of people i only have to click on the group rather than typing each individual name in.

iOS 5 does not support this feature. You can use Easy Group, a free application I have developped. You can create your groups with it, and then send group text and group emails.

Can not make Groups work in Address Book

I'm running Mac OS X v10.7.4 with the latest version of Address Book. I'm new to Apple and am trying to set up groups in Address Book for ease of mailing to a number of contacts.
I'm connected to iCloud and am able to create group names under iCloud. I can also drag contacts into a group from my iCloud contact list to populate it and the names are displayed on the opposing page from the page listing the group names. However, when I enter the group name into a Mail message address box the box remains blank. Also, if I right click on the group name in the group list and select "Send an e-mail to the group" that will open a "new message" window but again the "to box" will be empty. When I click on a group name and then select from the task bar "Edit>Edit Distribution List..." that choice is grayed out and non-responsive. So I end up with a defined group with group members in it but it can not be edited nor available for actually addressing an e-mail message.
However, this is the weird part: What I described above was my effort yesterday, trying to get Groups going and finally shutting down in frustration. Today when I opened Address Book the groups worked! I could address e-mail messages using either method. The "Edit Distribution List..." was active and I was able to modify my group members. I was so elated that I immediately created another group. Alas, it behaved as the other groups did yesterday. The group was populated but unable to be inserted in the "to box" and I was unable to edit the distribution list. Also, after creating the new group, yesterday's groups would no longer permit being edited although I was able to earlier in the day. However, the addresses still appear in the "to box" when I invoke the group.
I am confused and frustrated. Do I have an incorrect setting that hinders the use of groups? Is there some system reset or iCloud update that occurs on a daily basis that activated the groups created yesterday? Why would my creating a new group cause me to loose the ability to edit any of the groups?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Eureka. You are right. I just tested closing and reopening Mail and now today's groups work. Regarding editing the existing groups, I found an article from 2011 on CNet that claimed that iCloud disables the Distribution List Editor. The work around is to create a single dummy group under "On My Mac" which will reactivate the editor which can then be used for iCloud groups. I tested this and it works.

    * 512MB of memory (I say 1.5GB for PPC at least, 2-3GB minimum for IntelMacs)
    * DVD drive for installation
    * 9GB of available disk space (I say 30GB at least)
Classic/OS9 Apps no longer supported.
Trouble is Apple no longer sells it, check eBay & such for the Retail version, not the Gray Discs...

I would advise that you not set up a second Apple ID. It's really not necessary - having two Apple IDs won't affect how iTunes works with your iPads - and will just complicate matters. Each iPad will be treated independently and can be set to sync only the items you want on that particular iPad. If you really want to keep the two iPads separate, set up different iTunes libraries and have only those items you want on the related iPad in that library, rather than a different Apple ID. If you plan not to use a computer and just download directly to the iPads, you can again choose what apps and content each iPad gets.
But answering your specific question, you can have content from up to five iTunes Store accounts on any one computer or iPad. To create a new iTunes Store account, you'll need a different email address, and from there you just create the account the same way you did the first one.

You have a choice as to whether or not applications in Lion like Word or Preview (or even Safari) save and re-open previous documents or windows... just hold down the option key while quitting a program and when you re-open it you won't get the previous documents or windows when you re-open the application. You can see this by selecting the open program in the menu bar and when holding down the option key the quit function will change to quit and discard open windows. This feature in Lion is referred to as "Resume" and is great if you want to restart an app and return to what you're doing (for example in Safari re-opening existing windows and tabs from your previous session). You still have the option to close individual windows within an app before quitting and they will not re-open when the app is launched again.
This Resume function is not related to saving your work (a word or text document for example). This is handled by Lion's "Auto-Save" and "Versions" functions. See http://www.apple.com/ca/macosx/whats-new/auto-save.html
