Can anyone use my 4s or do I have to unlock it?

With the new iPhone release I've been seeing a lot of my friends and family putting their iPhone 4's up for sale, but I'm noticing that a lot of them are factory unlocked as a selling point. I have an immaculately maintained 4s that I don't plan to upgrade until probably the next iPhone, but my question is, will a potential buyer favor an unlocked 4s over my "world phone" or is it essentially the same thing?

There is a Photos app on the iPad though it is fairly basic. If you want GarageBand and iMovie then you will need to buy their app versions from the iTunes App Store (or App Store app on your iPad), the Mac versions (OS X) are not compatible with the iPad (iOS)

If you only have a 10MB limit on the Internet connection you might as well not have Internet access and certainly should not attempt to stream anything.
If the limit is 10GB, then you will need to be careful with streaming as most video is 1-3GB for a one hour show.

You've tried restarting the film ? If it still skips then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that film and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, 24 to 48 hours).
Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

You can use the same account - go in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores if you are on iOS 6) and sign into your existing account (if you created a new account and are logged in with it then tap on that id and log out of it first). You can then use your old account in the same way as you use it on your iPod.

Only the carrier can unlock a phone and I am not sure if Verizon is one of those which will.

Hi,
you can have as many essbase servers as you want, provided they are registered on same shared services. When you create a data source for planning application, you have to provide Essbase server name and login details. You can provide one essbase server in one data source and another essbase server for another.
Also since Planning is based on RDBMS database, you can have multiple planning web servers pointing to same planning application. You can use load balancer concept as well.

I have been trying to write some javascript which can be used to create publishing pages in the current site (this is called in an application page opened via a custom action on the Pages library).
I am trying to use code similar to the example on the
SP Typescript demos page. The only real difference between their and my implementation which I can see is that they are running in an app (hence checking SPHostUrl is is non-existent for me as I am on premise and non-app).

However I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the PublishingWeb object. Everytime my code hits the "context.load(pubWeb)" I get a javascript error thrown in sp.runtime.js:
"Object doesn't support property or method 'get_$y_0'"
I've tried a number of alternatives such as hard coding the url for the context, but nothing seems to work. Is this just me? Or just non-app code?

Naturally you should have a recent backup of your "crashed" hard drive. If you don't, well, hopefully you've learned a lesson but that doesn't solve your current problem.
If all your apps and media were purchased from the iTunes App Store, don't worry about them. Redownload all your apps and media, then allow iTunes to sync with and wipe your iOS devices - which will also put all the apps and media on them. You'll lose your settings, and any data which resided only on the iOS devices, and of course you'll need to organize your iOS folders and home screens and whatnot. But you won't really lose much, and without a backup this is your best choice.
If you have media from sources other than the iTunes App Store, look at Senuti or similar applications designed to copy media from iOS devices to computers. Use that first, then sync as I described in my second paragraph above. (I mention Senuti because it's popular. There are other options which work just as well, and some are even free.)

Did you also enter your username/email address and password for the SMTP server? most SMTP servers (used for sending mails) want you to log in or else won't send.
For testing purposes, you can send a message to yourself; as receiving messages is not a problem...
