Can Apple ID created by me be used by my friend in another country?

I bought my friend in a developing country an IPhone. He cannot afford to buy apps that kill be very useful for him n his work. I therefore want to create an ID for him that I link to my credit card here in my country. is that possible? If yes, will he be able to use that ID himself or do I need to log in in my country and buy apps for him? I would f course prefer that he himself could administrate the account from his home.

No. You can do it if you have Find My iPhone installed/enabled on your iPhone though, but only if the phone is still turned on

If the problem persists, you'll probably have to make another apple id, it wont take off any games or music or apps or anything you've bought it will all stay there, i have two apple id's and i don't have a problem with anything.

I can create fillable PDF Forms using Adobe Acrobat X Pro. I can email them to someone using Adobe Reader (free) and they can fill them, save and email to me. But when I upload the form to Dreamweaver CS5, the form is not fillable. And yes, I saved it as a Reader Extended PDF-Enable Additional Features.

I see no reason for this form to fail in Reader. Some questions for you.
1. On the system with Adobe Reader, what is the system and the version of Adobe Reader?
2. Are you viewing the PDF in a browser on the system with Reader, or in an Adobe Reader window?
3. If it's a browser
(a) what is the browser
(b) if you download the file instead, and open directly in Reader, what happens?

Can apple please create a universal keynote player?

I know keynote can export the presentations to many formats but none offers the quality and transitions like the orginal format. Can apple please please create a keynote player (like flash) that allows my clients to view the presentation without the ability to change it or have the program? Windows and Mac please.

I recently took my Keynote presentation on a CD to a conference, along with backups including a .pdf and Powerpoint.
I have found that the powerpoint version will work on my own machine, but there are problems when you transfer to another machine: The problems exist when the .ppt attempts to locate audio and movie elements of the presentation. They are stored in an accompanying .ppt folder on the CD. But the .ppt thinks they are "back home" on your own computer.
I suspect this fault is either a fault of Export from Keynote, or the way I created the CDs I burned to take my presentations away with me. I have not solved this problem yet.
I also get a variety of unpredicatble results if I take a QT version of my presentation with me to a Windows machine. Sometimes QT is not avaiblable on the machine. Sometimes QT is there, but it does not want to play the H263 version of QT that Keynote has exported.
Maybe the solution is to export the DVD version of the presentation. I haven't explored that option.
(The good news - at my conference, another speaker happened to have a Mac laptop with Keynote on board.)

You can't used 3G when traveling to another country

I live in Canada but I found a new problem with AT&T when trying to get your 3G working when you travel to the states. You have to sign up with with a US address for the 3G to work. I don't have a US address and credit card too only one from Canada. It's a catch 22. Apple says it's unlocked but you can't used unless you have a US address.
So I would like to know how can you use iPad 3G when you travel to US or any other place in the world.. WiFi yes but why buy a 3G when you can't connect to AT&T. AT&T should make plans for people who travel in the US.

The iPad 3G was just released in the U.S., and it isn't available in other countries yet. Obviously the 3G sold in the U.S. is currently set up to have a data plan with AT&T. In order to have a data plan with AT&T for the iPad at the present time, you need to have a credit card with a U.S. billing address, and the billing address must be in an area where AT&T has coverage. They have coverage in most or many places, but not all. No carrier in the U.S. has 100% coverage over every square mile.
This may change for international travelers, but the iPad 3G was just released in the U.S. on Friday and isn't available in any other countries yet.

Actually, it can be used in many countries - including Japan and China where I travel frequently. Verizon is partnered with carriers in many countries. BUT it is only CMDA, and it does not have a GSM SIM for example, so you are locked into using these partners only, and the voice charges are steep (like $1.99 a minute) and data rates ridiculous.
Because of the high rates, I only use text messaging except for urgent calls, and turn off data.
Bought an inexpensive GSM phone to use in China - got a number in-county, and it is very inexpensive, even to make international calls. Use that same phone in the U.S. as a backup (major carrier other than Verizon in the U.S.) (I can recharge the account on-line to ensure the number remains active, even if not using it for months).
Contact Verizon helpful service at 611 and they will give you straight skinny to answer specific countries and rates.

No. You have no place for a sim card in the WiFi only iPad. You MAY be able to purchase a personal MIFI hotspot that will work with a data plan in another country. I have one here in the U.S. that I bought through Verizon, but I assume it will only work on the Verizon network here with my Verizon Data Plan. So you would need a data plan in the country in which you want to use the iPad if this option is available for you.

Im in Australia and will be travelling overseas soon. Can i buy a Skype number with an Australian area code and use that in another country, e.g. Thailand.
More importantly, wouldn't this mean that my friends calling me from Australia would only be calling me on local rates, since I am essentially tricking the system by pretending I am in Australia.
The following however suggests such a trick may not be possible : "Note that before you can set up a Skype Number for certain countries, you need to provide proof of residence." (although since I am in Australia at the moment and a resident, it shuldnt be a problem for me).

otherwise Skype Numbers work as you have outlined -- you get an Australian number that the expected callers will ideally call at local rates, and your signed in Skype client magically rings wherever in the world you are physically located
buy a calling subscription before buying your Skype Number and you qualify for up to a 50% discount on your Skype Number (depending on the subscription length that you choose)
