Is it possible to use Apple TV to mirror input from a Kindle DX or HDX tablet?

Unfortunately not.

    Can Apple Tv mirror a dvd from a Imac?

    Not rea.
    As far as I can tell the OS prevents mirroring of DVD player output and you get a grey checkerboard pattern.  Same via Airparrot.
    Is this what you see via mirroring?
    I suggested to somone to try playing a DVD via VLC (or other player) and that supposedly worked over mirroring.

  • How can multiple vis share input from a DAQ simutaneously

    How can multiple vis share data input from a DAQ simutaneously?
    Recently I am building a EMG measurement platform and somehow DAQ data need to be shared by several vis at the same  time.
    Are there any ideas?

    If you may need to add/delete tasks that will need th edata you may want to consider a publich/subscribe pattern. Basically your DAQ task will post a message to a single queue. The process listening on this queue (message broker) will determine if there are other processes registered to receive this message. When a device registers for a message it provides a queue to receive it on. The message broker will then post the message to all interested processes. The nice thing about this pattern is that you have dedicated code to handle broadcasting the message and it is very easy at run time to change the number of processes that get the message. The DAQ task will always send the message and will not care how many processes are listening.

    Perhaps you can enlighten us as to what "does not print correctly" actually means.
    Miss-spells your name? or what?
    How have you set up your Page set-up?
    It has to agree with how you are feeding the envelope in and what printer driver you are using.

  • Can Apple TV mirror what's on my iPad?  If so, how do I make this happen?

    I just bought the Apple TV unit (2nd gen) and was under the impression that it would allow me to use my TV as a wireless monitor for my iPad2...  It plays the music from my iTunes (computer) allows me to set up and use the remote app but no luck with using it as a monitor.  Have I missed something or is this not even possible?
    Thanks!

    Video mirroring with AirPlay and Apple TV.
    If you have an Apple TV, you can wirelessly stream everything that’s on your iPad to your HDTV.* It’s video mirroring without any cables. All you have to do is double-click the Home button, swipe all the way to the right, and select AirPlay Mirroring. Learn more

  • Can Apple TV wake computer from sleep?

    I don't think this is possible unfortunately, but maybe someone else knows better. It seems like a no-brainer to me, so Im not sure why Apple hasn't implemented this feature. It's a TOTAL waste of energy to have my Mac Pro awake all the time just so I can have immediate access to all my Apple TV content (which is obviously streamed from the Mac Pro).
    Yes, I know I can walk to the computer each time I want to use Apple TV and wake it up manually, but it is at the other side of the house and to do this each time me or a member of my family wants to watch something on Apple TV, well it almost ruins the whole convenience of the product.

    Your tv won't wake your mac I'm afraid.
    It may seem like a waste of energy to you not allowing your mac to sleep, however constantly waking up your mac (as is very likely when used in conjunction with a tv) is likely to cause unnecessary wear to your hard drives within it and may be more costly to you in the long run than leaving it awake.

  • Can Apple TV stream directly from the internet?

    New to the Mac world and just got Apple TV. Disappointed that it apparently only streams through i-tunes. Am I wrong?????

    I was expecting to be able to stream from my Mac, but not limited to a specific piece of software the way you can with a PC. Watching from my Netflix account would have been nice.
    For that you would need to connect your Mac to your TV with a video adapter cable.

  • Can I use audio inputs from my node computer?

    You cannot. Photoshop only runs on the Windows and Mac OS X desktop operating systems.
    Your iPad runs the iOS mobile operating system.
    Adobe software for your iPad includes Photoshop Express

    Download to your iPad via the Apple App Store.

  • How to accept user inputs from  sql script

    I want to create Tablespace useing sql script , but the location of the data file I need accept from user . (to get the location of the data file ) .
    How can I accept user input from pl/sql .
    Example :
      CREATE TABLESPACE  TSPACE_INDIA LOGGING
         DATAFILE 'H:\ORACLE_DATA\FRSDB\TSPACE_INDI_D1_01.dbf'
         SIZE 500M  AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT  1280K MAXSIZE UNLIMITED
         EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL;here I need to accept location of the datafile from user ie : 'H:\ORACLE_DATA\FRSDB\TSPACE_INDI_D1_01.dbf'

    Hi,
    Whenenever you write dynamic SQL, put the SQL text into a variable. During development, display the variable instead of executing it. If it looks okay, then you can try executing it in addition to displaying it. When you're finished testing, then you can comment out or delete the display.
    For example:
    SET     SERVEROUTPUT     ON
    DECLARE
        flocation     VARCHAR2 (300);
        sql_txt     VARCHAR2 (1000);
    BEGIN
        SELECT  '&Enter_The_Path'
        INTO    flocation
        FROM    dual;
        sql_txt :=  'CREATE TABLESPACE SRC_TSPACE_INDIA LOGGING
         DATAFILE' || flocation || ' "\SRC_TSPACE_INDI_D1_01.dbf" ' || '
         SIZE 500M  AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT  1280K MAXSIZE UNLIMITED
         EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL ';
        dbms_output.put_line (sql_txt || ' = sql_txt');
    --  EXECUTE IMMEDIATE sql_txt;
    END;
    /When you run it, you'll see something like this:
    Enter value for enter_the_path: c:\d\fubar
    old   5:     SELECT  '&Enter_The_Path'
    new   5:     SELECT  'c:\d\fubar'
    CREATE TABLESPACE SRC_TSPACE_INDIA LOGGING
         DATAFILEc:\d\fubar
    "\SRC_TSPACE_INDI_D1_01.dbf"
         SIZE 500M  AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT  1280K MAXSIZE
    UNLIMITED
         EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL  = sql_txt
    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.This makes it easy to see that you're missing a space after the keyword DATAFILE. There are other errrors, too. For example, the path name has to be inside the quotes with the file name, without a line-feed between them, and the quotes should be single-quotes, not double-quotes.
    Is there some reason why you're using PL/SQL? In SQL, you can just say:
    CREATE TABLESPACE SRC_TSPACE_INDIA LOGGING
    DATAFILE  '&Enter_The_Path\SRC_TSPACE_INDI_D1_01.dbf'
    SIZE 500M  AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT  1280K MAXSIZE UNLIMITED
    EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL;though I would use an ACCEPT command to given a better prompt.
    Given that you want to use PL/SQL, you could assign the value above to sql_txt. If you need a separate PL/SQL variable for flocation, then you can assign it without using dual, for example:
    DECLARE
        flocation     VARCHAR2 (300)     := '&Enter_The_Path';The dual table isn't needed very much in PL/SQL.

  • Can we update the data from SSRS report to any database ?

    Hi Team,
    Greetings !!!!
    Can we update the data from SSRS report to any database ?
    Thanks,
    Anand Gavle.

    Nope SSRS doesnt have write back options. Its just a reporting tool
    However one thing you can do is to link a webpage from SSRS report and do the changes through it
    SSRS has the ability to navigate to web page through which you can capture any data inputs from users and save it to your db.

  • Change tv input from s video to hdmi

    Does anyone know if you can change the tv input from the s video cable to use the HDMI as input for watching TV on the Touchsmart 600-1050? The s video works ok but I thought that I read somewhere that you should be able to use the HDMI as an input source. So How do you change the tv tuner to use the HDMI instead of the S video cable? Thanks.
    This question was solved.

    There is a toggle button on the back right above the HDMI port which allows to go back and forth.
