goutam kumarIn the screen FI12 if you have filled all the relevant data, the system should propose teh request on its own. If you have missed and clubbed this in any other transport request, then you need to generate transport.
Fropm the Table view Menu select Transport. This will give you first transport request creation option and then you select the entries that you want to transport and then press button " Include in Transport".
Save entries and trans port. -
Web Template Changes not visible after transport from Development to Test
Weu2019ve run into a problem doing web development in BI 7.0 that I suspect someone has seen before and may quickly be able to point us in the correct direction. Changes that are made to web templates in the Web Application Designer are correctly transported from development to the test environment, but we are still seeing the old version of the template when the report is executed. We are able to see the web template changes in the Web Application Designer in the test environment. We believe this is a caching issue and have cleared the query cache and the HTTP cache in SMICM. Unfortunately, this has not resolved the issue. Can you suggest another approach to resolve this issue?
Not sure what you mean by browser cache. We have deleted history, cookies, and all temporary Internet files. The issue isn't limited to a single user, but exists for all users. Through extensive testing we have established that you are able to see the web template changes in test in the WAD(Web Application Designer) after they have been transported from development, but can only view the changes when the web template is run for the first time. Changes to existing templates can be seen in the WAD in test, but are not seen when the report is run. The old version of the template appears to held in cache somewhere, but we haven't been able to find it and clear it.

Kiran Hierarchy data can be loade from source system, flat file or manually maintained in system.
since you have done manulally you can do the same in other systems also, but you need authrizations to maintain manually
I have manually created my balance sheet hierarchy using RSH1 transaction code.
you have do the same in quality also, since all required infoobjects are available in quality system, manulally create balance sheet hierarchy using RSH1 transaction code in Quality system.
check whether you have authorization to manually create in Quality system. you have to do the same procedure in production also i guess.

Transportation ( How to transport objects from one server to another)
Follow the steps.
1. RSA1 > Transport connection
2. In the right window there is a catagory "all object according to type"
3. Select required object you want to transport.
4. Expand that object , there is select object, double click on this you will get the number of objects, select yours one.
5. Continue.
6. Go with the selection, select all your required objects you want to transport.
7. There is icon Transport Object (Truck Symbol).
8. Click that, it will creat one request, note it down this request.
9. Go to Transport Organiser (T.code SE01).
10. in the display tab, enter the Request, then go with display.
11. Check your transport request whether contains the required objects or not, if not go with edit, if yes "Release" that request.
Thats it, your cordinator will move this request to quality or production .

DataSources transport from development to QA TESTING???

I developed some objects in my D system using a generic extractions. I used 3 DataSources .
Ii transported all my SAP BW object in the testing system. now I need to collect my 3 DataSource in the R/3 development System to the R/3 system. Please can anyone show me the steps. I tried all day but no result. Please help me, I need the steps.

You are using Tbales, so collect Table if it is Z/Y table, if it is SAP table then not required.
1.Collect Tables and DataSources in request and transport from D ECC to Q ECC.
2.Replicate DS in Q BW system.
3.Collect InfoObjects and Transport from D BW to Q BW.
4.Collect Cube/DSO and Transport from D BW to Q BW.
5.Collect Multiproviders if you have any and Transport from D BW to Q BW.
6.Collect Transfer/InfoSource and Transport from D BW to Q BW.
7.Collect Update Rules and Transport from D BW to Q BW.
8.Collect Reports and Transport from D BW to Q BW.

Transports from development to Test/Production
Hi there,
While transporting objects from development to QA or Production, is there any way we can change the the name of the target staging database. For example, if TableA is the target table going to stageA database and when i move this object from development to QA or Production where staging database has a different name. So how can i handle this..should i have same database names in all the environments Dev, QA and Prod? i know we can do it manually changing staging database name one by one for each object but how can we handle it if we have hundreds or thousands of objects?You should setup and use multiple configurations on a single datastore. The whole point (well, almost the whole point) of the ability to setup multiple configurations, pointing (typically) at different databases, inside a single datastore is to be able to re-point a dataflow at a different database without recoding. To "transport" from dev to QA, for instance, is as simple as either changing the default configuration of a datastore (from the dev database to the QA database), or making use of system configurations, which are just named sets of datastore configurations, which are, then, picked at runtime (or when scheduling a job). Of course, your schemas need to be essentially the same between environments.

Transport from Development to Qualtiy
Hi,
Could anyone let me know the steps that needs to be followed while transporting the objects from Development to Qualtiy.
We are using PI 7.1
I had followed these steps:
In the Enterprise Service Builder --> Tools ---> Export Design Objects ---> I gave the software component version, Mode (specified as Transport using CTS) and then selected all the objects that needs to be moved to Quality.
then i checked in the Transport Organizer and this request was present.
So in SAP logon for Development PI i gave SE10 and released the requests.
But then how to import these items which i released in development.
Could anyone let me know the step by step process required to move the objects from dev to Quality

Transport ALE Configuration from Development to Production System
Hello All,
We have created ALE-IDOC scenario in the development system and its working fine. Now we want to transport it to the Production / Quality system. How can we transport the settings like logical systems, port definition, partner profiles, distribution model , RFC destinations from one system to another system??
Because the client numbers are different for development , quality and production systems.. Do we need to transport the logical system and client assignment using STMS or create directly in the target system??
Thanx in advance...The issue with transporting the ALE distribution model is that the source and target logical system names change between the dev, test and prod environments.
Assume an ECC6 and PI landscape with dev/test/prod called E6D/E6T/E6P and PID/PIT/PIP with all systems using client 100. By default (SAP recommendation) the logical system name for E6D client 100 is E6DCLNT100 and its PI partner in the dev landscape will be PID client 100 with logical system name PIDCLNT100. In test the logical system names will be E6TCLNT100 and PITCLNT100 and in prod E6PCLNT100/PIPCLNT100.
So, when a distribution model is set up in dev with a source system of E6DCLNT100 sending messages to a target system PIDCLNT100 everything works nicely. This assumes that the PIDCLNT100 logical system partner in WE20/WE21 is mapped to a port which maps to an RFC destination pointing to client 100 of PID.
When this model is transported to the test system it won't work because the logical system names are wrong.
It is possible to create a logical system name called PISERVER in SALE and then map that, via WE20/WE21 to point to the corresponding PI instance. Thus in E6D, WE21 would map logical system PISERVER to the RFC destination for PIDCLNT100 but in E6T the mapping would link to RFC destination PITCLNT100 and in E6P to PIPCLNT100. In this way any ABAP programming trying to use the ALE distribution model would send messages to PISERVER and would be transportable.
However, setting up the source system in the same way appears to be impossible. When attempting to generate partner profiles, transaction BD82 stubbornly insists that the source system for which it will build profiles MUST be the logical system name defined for the execution client in SCC4. Theoretically, mapping similar to that for PISERVER could be performed for ECC6SERVER and the ALE distribution model could be built to send messages from ECC6SERVER to PISERVER but BD82 won't honour this source system.
This appears to make it impossible to transport an ALE Distribution Model. Can anybody provide a process to overcome this apparent architectural limitation? -

After importing the model as Dharmi explained, you might need to change the systems' names in the model to fit the production landscape. For example, if a backend system has an alias AAA in Dev and same system has alias BBB in prod. To do this, simply choose Tools > Manage services...
If the landscapes are compatible, you can transport only the working iView using the portal transport capabilities. Navigate to System Configuration > Transport in the Dev portal, find your iView and add it to a transport package.

You can add translation manually to the request transport or use the program RS_LXE_RECORD_TORDER.

Original System incorrect after transporting from BD1 to BQ1 systems

BI 7.0 SP 10
We have having problems with the 'original system' of our DataSources and certain transformations when transporting objects from BI dev system to the BI QA system.
DataTargets are coming through the Transports with the correct 'original system' name but for DataSources and Transformations that are used to map from the DataSource to the DataTargets are incorrect.
We have ensured in our 'Conversion of logical system name' has:
- ID1 -> IQ1
- CD1 -> CQ1
- BD1 -> BQ1 (we were once missing this but this has been added and transported retransported but still it doens't seem to work)
Could it be becauce we accidently activated the DataSources from IQ1 and replicated these in BQ1 and the Transports of the DataSources are not overwriting properly? I would have assumed that the Transports (with overwrite) option would overwrite the existing DataSources and replace it with those from the Dev system.
As for the Transformation, could that be due to the incorrect orginal system setting of the DataSource which in turn is causing issues to the Transformation attached?
Any ideas?

Creation and transportation of query from development to simulation system

I need to create a new Query in the development system in the General Ledger folder in Financial reporting. and then I need to transport the same to the simulation system. what are the correct steps I need to follow to do the same if have to avoid any issues during this transportation.
Do I need to do any modifications to the role ZS_XX_BEX_MENU and transport the same?

follow the genral procedure
1)In RSA1 Go to Transport tab and collect ur query.
Drag to right screen
If it is in $Temp change it to your own request. For this You may need Access.
2)Query contains all objects which were used in that query.
if any Info object that are created newly then check for Transport
3) Then, finally click on transport(Truck) icon
4) By default, it will collect all new objects including newly created Info Objects also. You can change the collections of your own selection.
You will get a Request Number here. Please save this Number so that you can check this at SE09
5) In SE09 search for your Request Number.
6)Release The request by subsequent process onwards( Means sub contents like infoprovider first and then Query) -
