Can autorize my own music I bought

I had bought a song off itunes a while back and registered under my AOL account, I have since reformatted my computer and my aol account is gone
so when I try to authorize my song again, I do it under this apple ID. I put in my credit card info and it says my computer is authorized.
but when I go to play the song it still brings me to the login window to authorize it again, so I type my id and password again, and it says its authorized but I still cant play it.
itunes 7.0.2, 10.4.8 on g4

tried it it says my credit card is not the same as the one on file.
My AOL account has expired. How to I update my account information in iTunes?
To convert your AOL iTunes account to regular iTunes account, attempt to log in to the iTunes Store three times with your AOL screen name and password. After the third attempt, you'll be prompted to convert your account.

  • I can't read my music I bought with my ID

I have this problem with some of music I bought on iTunes Store. All my music has been bought with the same ID, sometimes it's some of songs in the same disc where I can read the others ones. It's asking me to authorize my computer to read this song, to enter my ID and my password, after it's telling me that it's ok for this computer, or it has already been authorized, but when I click to read it, it's asking me again and again and again and again the same thing... I really don't understand, because theses songs have been bought and download with the same ID on the same computer that I use now... Please help me. Thank you.

  • HT201274 I have wiped the old persons data and photos etc off my recently purchased ipod touch and now all the display shows is a usb lead and CD, please can someone tell me how to get past this screen so I can transfer my own music

Please can anyone help, I recently purchased a second hand ipod touch and it had over 4000 photos on it, so to delete them I went to settings and found an option which said something like erase all content and data, I did this and the next morning I tried to turn it on to put my own music on, only to find that the only display on the screen is a usb lead with an arrow pointing to a CD. I cant get past this screen even after plugging it in to my itunes account, its like my computer can not find the ipod.

Put it in Recovery Mode. If your computer won't recognize your iPod, try another one. How did you wiped the iPod? With iTunes or directly with the settings app?

  • I want to give my old iPod touch to a friend.  How do I get my Apple ID off of it so he can buy his own music and apps?

I want to give my old iPod touch to a friend.  How do I get my Apple account ID off of it so he can use his own password and account?

Unless you want to go through the full routine of deleting the Apple ID and any personal information...and keep in mind, all content is owned by the Apple ID used to download it so nothing on there can be updated.
Go to Settings > iTunes and App Stores > Apple ID and remove the ID.
Go to Settings > iCloud or any other place you will have links to your own account and remove the links.
Go to Settings > Mail, Calendars and Contacts and remove all account information.
Go to Settings > Messages and remove all account information
Go to Settings > WiFi and remove all account information.
    And so on.

  • I can't get the music I bought while on my computer to transfer to my iPod touch. I synced it but nothing happened. The computer says my Ipod has all the music but the iPod says differently.

I can't get the music from my computer to my iPod touch. I put it in sync mode and the computer says it did the job and transferred the music correctly but the iPod says it doesn't have the music transferred.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync all music and resync
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:

  • How can I get the music I bought on my computer sync on my ipod ?

    Hi !
I have a problem since yesterday. I have an iPod Touch 5 since christmas 2012.
I bought yesterday 2 full albums from iTunes on my computer, when i try to sync it nothing happens. Everything is synced (apps, other music for my computer, not bought on iTunes...) exept these 2 albums. Even the present of the day from iTunes (the 2 songs from justin timberlake...) have been synced without problems.
When i open on my iPod the iTunes Store, i can see all the songs, but there's an error in the loading of them : i select load on every song, but it stops immediately with an error message.
I tried to shut off my iPod and put it on again, nothing changed.
On my computer, i tried to put the songs in a list so that i can find them in my selection of lists, but when i sync it on my iPod, the list appears but empty.
My iPod is 5th generation, with the lattest update, and my iTunes too.
If you have any solution, i'll be very, very glad.
Sorry about my English, i tried my best to be clear, i' can explain it in french if it's better for you to understand.
    Thanks for any solution,
    Marion

  • How can I get iTunes Music I bought into FCE in an editable form?

I've been making a teaser for a documentary (okay, it could be a mockumentary) about family events this summer. Trying to use Lux Aeterna (the Requiem for a Dream song that SOUNDS like a trailer...) and all I'm getting is a beep every eighth note. I did buy this piece. Does this have to do with the .m4p security encoding? Is there any way I can put it in there with regular sound? I want my video to correspond with the music. HELP ME PLEASE!

    Hi(Bonjour)!
Read the iTune licence and you will understand that the music is copyrighted. You do not own the right to use it in final cut express (a professional app), but you can use it with iMovie (a consummer app).

  • Can't Get My Music I Bought From iTunes 10.3

How Come A Can't Re-download any Of My Track I Bought In iTunes 10.3 Only See app And iBooks. No Music Tab. Im Running iTunes 10.3 64-Bit On Window

  • Why can't I use music I bought through itunes in my movie project?

I sent my movie to idvd, then attempted to add some itunes purchased music to the menu screen. I dragged it from th itunes folder in media browser and dropped it in the menu screen on the map window. The title of the song appears (I had the green + symbol on my cursor as I dropped it), all should be good, right? Wrong; it won't play when I preview it. Someone suggested I burn the track to a cd in .aiff format, then I can use it. Why?? I don't use cds anymore, and I don't want to burn one song to a cd; I shouldn't have to

    Hi
If You made an Audio-CD with .aiff files - not .mp3 or other. And this still do not work then I guess that iDVD pref file got corrupted and needs to be trashed (iDVD will make a new error free one on next start-up)
    Else
Not knowing the origin to Your problem - General approach when in trouble is as follows.
    • Delete iDVD pref. file - or rather start a new user/account - log into this and re-try (much better way to test)
    iDVD pref. file resides.
Mac Hard Disk (start-up HD)/Users/"Your account"/Library/Preferences (Not Library on Root level)
    and is named.
    com.apple.iDVD.plist
While iDVD is NOT RUNNING - move this file out to desk-top.
    Now restart iDVD.
    • Free space on internal (start-up) hard disk if it is less than 10Gb should rather have 25Gb
    • Disconnect all external hard disks and try - FireWire, USB/2, AirPort or Net-work connected.
To work OK I prefer FireWire AND it must be Mac OS Extended formatted - UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange - WILL NOT DO for video - neither for iMovie or FinalCut or iDVD any version ! This also includes any USB-memory sticks.
    • Hard disk is untidy. Repair Permissions, Repair Hard disk (Apple’s Disk Utilities application)
    • Program miss-match. iDVD 5.0.2, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.5.5 - is OK - DON’T work under Leopard
    • Program miss-match. iDVD 6.0.4, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.5.5 - is OK (might work under Leopard)
    • Program miss-match. iDVD’08 v. 7.0.1, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.5.5 - is OK will work under Leopard)
    • Program miss-match. iDVD’09 v. 7.0.4, Mac OS X.5.8 AND QuickTime 7.6.4 - is OK (does work under Leopard)
    • iDVD (08) v7 Locate theme folder. Move out iDVD1, iDVD 2 and eventually iDVD4 folders to desktop - re-try
    Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/iDVD/Themes/ zzzzzzzzzz
    or
    Macintosh HD/Users/Your log-in//Library/Application Support/iDVD/Installed Themes/ zzzzzzzzzz
    • Try a Cleaning CD/DVD that cleans the laser lens on the DVD burner/player
iDVD 6.0.4 and iDVD 7.0.1 are compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard
Last resort. from Craig. Solved the problem ! ! Finally ! !
I deleted every iDVD application and folder from my boot drive,
emptied the trash and then installed iDVD 08 using the customize option
and I am up and running.
If You do a re-install be sure to get rid of all iDVD old parts AND then EMPTY the Trash-basket !
    iDVD updated ?
    Apple Codec updated ?
Start a New Clean project - or delete project assets
No of Colors - must be set to millions
EdinSF writes that, The 10.6.3 update with an Open GL fix seems to have taken care of the problem.

  • Can't play the musics I bought on iTMS

    Hello everyone,
Yesterday I installed Windows Vista on my computer and when everything was done I've decided to go and install iTunes. The installation went just fine the problems started when I tried to play musics that were aquired through iTMS. After I type my Apple ID I get the 5002 error.
I'm trying to play these musics for some time. Meanwhile, I've been searching the web for this error and solutions for it. There are several people stating that they solved it by contacting Apple Support. After searching Apple's website I couldn't find a single contact form, an e-mail, anything other than the Portuguese Mac Reseller phone number.
Could someone help me fix this problem or explain me how can I contact apple support?
    Here's the full error message:
We could not complete your iTunes Store Request. An unknown error occurred (5002).
There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later.

I, also, have that authorization nonsense (I am the administrator, and only user of the computer). But, still, I cannot make any changes. You will have to report to someone at iTunes, if you try to play the downloaded songs from iTunes.
Which version, has it always been that way?
Also, did you change your username/password, if things were working fine, at one time?
I had your problem when I, originally, signed up with my AOL address. When I quite AOL, I got an Apple id, and I could not access my songs from AOL days for over three months. Eventually, someone at Apple helped me.

  • I can't transfer the music i bought on my iPod to iTunes

Even if i click on ''transfer purchases'', the songs appear in iTunes but i can't listen to them, i can't select them. There's a syncing symbol right aside of the name of the songs....

You need to transfer your iTunes Library from the old computer to the new one - then you can carry on syncing as normal. You can't move non-purchased music from an iPod to iTunes using iTunes. For purchased music, choose iTunes > File > Transfer purchases...

  • ICloud and music not bought through iTunes

I have a giant CD collection that I digitized into iTubes: its by far the bulk of my iTunes library. Will iCloud allow me to store that music in teh cloud, or only music bought and downloaded via iTunes?

"I guess I had hoped the cloud would extend the same convenience of use to non-itunes-purchased music."
It is just as easy. iTunes match will scan you library of non-iTunes purchases.
This is so you do not need to upload them to the cloud.
"The whole point is easy synchronization across my multiple digital devices."
    Exactly!
"And of course i don't NEED to upload my collection, but I sure would like to be able to, simply and reasonably because I like to listen to my music."
And? This is the point of iCloud and iTunes match. iTunes match means you do not have to upload much of your music because it is already available on the iCloud/iTunes servers. Why have millions of people upload the exact same song, millions of times? It
"My original question was about whether or not I CAN upload my own music. Can I?"
This question was already answered, yes.
But you don't need to, because most of your music will already be on the iCloud/iTunes servers.
"The cloud isn't about need anyway, really, nor is an iPad or iPod or any of it:"
    What?
