Can anyone point me in the right direction to find info on how to create a task list using Mountain Lion?

The To-Do list thingy in iCal (now called Calendar) is gone in Mountain Lion.
The replacement is Reminders, in your Applications folder.
Also, have a look at "Notification Center" in System Preferences.

  • Can I create a task in Outlook 2010 from a .pdf

    Hello
    New here.
    Using Adobe Acrobat Standard X
    Windows 7 Prof 32 bit
    Outlook 2010
I can create an Outlook 2010 task from a word doc or excel spreadsheet, now I would also like to be able to create such a task from a .pdf
Example: I'm corresponding with a financial institute via email, creating .pdf from the emails and just saving in a folder on my PC. I would like to be able to take that .pdf and link it to my Outlook tasks so it actually becomes a To Do item to 'jog' my memory.
    Is this even possible?
    Thanks very much

  • Can I create a task that includes 2 C series modules?

I am trying to create a single task that includes 2 NI-9425 C series modules but when I wire the physical channel constant "Mod3/port0, Mod4/port0" into the DAQmx Create Virtual Channel.vi I receive error -200086 which states physical channel range syntax in the input string is invalid because multiple devices were listed in the string.  It is my understanding from LabView help that multidevice tasks are allowed.  Also according to this KB article http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/CF85114C6025C84C862571C000722DDA multi-device tasks are supported for S Series devices, C Series, and DSA devices, and according to this KB article http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/78E44565FD87E7D686257108007F94F8?OpenDocument I have formatted my physical channel constant correctly.
Can someone please explain why I am getting this error when all indications are that this should be a simple thing to do?
My C series modules are in slots 3 and 4 in a cDAQ-9188 chassis, I am currently running LabView 8.5.1, with Windows XP

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Eric,
I'm afraid that you can't configure hardware timing with the NI 9425 in CompactDAQ. The NI 9425 data sheet explains: "The NI 9425 is a static digital module, so you can use it to perform software-timed or static operations only when installed in an NI CompactDAQ chassis."
For AI, AO, and counters, daisy chaining multiple calls to DAQmx Create Channel is equivalent to specifying a list of physical channels, but for DIO it's different. A single DIO virtual channel can contain multiple physical channels (lines). It would be completely reasonable to assume that specifying a list of lines with "one channel for all lines" would cause DAQmx to put all of the lines in a single virtual channel, but due to how it's implemented in the DAQmx framework, this is not possible when the lines are on multiple devices. It would also be reasonable to assume that if DAQmx couldn't put all of the lines in a single virtual channel, then it would create one virtual channel per device, but that's also not how it's implemented--it returns the error that you received.
Instead, here are two approaches to putting all 64 lines in one task. Either one should work.
Approach A: Create a single task, containing two virtual channels (MyChan0 and MyChan1). MyChan0 contains cDAQ1Mod3/port0/line0:31 and MyChan1 contains cDAQ1Mod4/port0/line0:31. The Digital 2D Bool NChan 1Samp read VI returns a 2x32 array of Booleans. To flatten this into a 1D 64-element array, you need to use Reshape Array or some other method.
The DAQmx Task >> Channels property is there to show that there are two virtual channels named MyChan0 and MyChan1. Also, I used a for-loop to show that you don't have to hardcode multiple calls to DAQmx Create Channel. The "one channel for all lines" constant is redundant because that is the default.
Approach B: Create a single task, containing 64 virtual channels (MyChan0 through MyChan63). This uses the "one channel for each line" constant, which is not the default. MyChan0 contains cDAQ1Mod3/port0/line0, MyChan1 contains cDAQ1Mod3/port0/line1, etc. The Digital 1D Bool NChan 1Samp read VI returns a 1D 64-element array of Booleans. If you used the Digital 2D Bool NChan 1Samp VI instead, you would get a 64x1 array because there are 64 virtual channels containing 1 line each.

  • How can I create sub tasks in the UWL

    Hello All,
I have a requirement where in I am pulling all the SAP Business Workplace notifications into the UWL. In UWL we want to have sub tasks or in other words we want to have selections based on subjects.
For eg. In SAP if there are three workflows running for three diffrent tasks then in UWL I should have an option to choose among the three and have the notifications based on the selected subject.
Let me know how this can be done. Looking forward to you.
    Regards
    DK

    Hi Dipendra,
What i understood from your message is that  if you choose a Task for
processing then a notification should be sent based on that task Subject
Is this what you exactly meant or something else.
    plese clarify
    Thanks & Regards

  • How can we modify the Task Priority in BPM workspace???

How can we modify the Task Priority in BPM workspace??? Is it possible?? If so what is the best and easy way to implement this??

    Hi Chandra,
First please find the job name in SM37 for FIGL and check the job status to be in "released" status. Select that job and go to job menu and click on change. then it will take you to the job screen where you have "job class". Here you can change the job class to "A" to get to high priority.
If you are unable to edit the job then create a new job with the same variants by clicking STEP button in the Job screen.
Try these steps, let me know if are able to do so.

  • UWL Help - How can i create my own task within the Enterprise Portal

    Dear all,
I am currently working with UWL .
I have tried the customization and those stuffs associated with UWL , and it is working properly.
My current issue is , how can create my own task within the Portal ( not using Ad Hoc  Workflow , which is present in Portal) ?.
If i can create my own task within portal by API or using another method , then How can i add that task link within the drop down box that is present in the Collaboration launch pad and Mytask Workset.?
Is there any API regarding  UWL (which is useful for creation of custom tasks in Portal using Developer Studio by means of Portal Application Creation) ?
How can i add that custom task in the drop down ?.
I have tried the customization of existing UWL.
I shall be grateful to those who can help me to solve this issue with links regarding the  solution of my problem's.
    with regards

    Hi Kishore,
I am trying to do the same thing. When i am creating Collaboration Task, it has standard templates in the dropdown like "Single Step" and "Multi-Step" etc., If i want to create my own Custom Task Template and display in that dropdown, how can i do that? Your help is really appreciated.

  • How can I create a template of a Data Flow Task in SSDT?

The majority of the Data Flow Tasks that I build have the same five elements in them (OLE DB Source, Conditional Split, Derived Column, Data Conversion, and OLE DB Destination).  I'd love to have a template of a Data Flow Task which already contains
these elements.  Is that possible for me to create, and how do I do it?
I'm currently on SSDT 11.1, with Visual Studio Pro 2012.

    Hi Tim_Dorenkamp,
If I understand correctly, you want to create a custom task, then add it as template of a Data Flow Task in SSIS Toolbox. So that you can use it in every packages.
Just as Samir suggested, we can developing a Custom Task that create a class that inherits from the Task base class, apply the DtsTaskAttribute attribute to your new class, and override the important methods and properties of the base class, including the
Execute method. The sample of create a custom task is for your reference:
    http://microsoft-ssis.blogspot.com/2013/06/create-your-own-custom-task.html
Besides, as to your requirement, we can simply create a template package that including this Data Flow Task, then use this template to create new packages. If we want to use the Data Flow Task in an existing package, we can add a new package with the template,
then copy the Data Flow Task from the new package and paste it to the existing package. For more details about create a template package in SSIS, please refer to the following thread:

  • Can we create an Ad Hoc workflow from a GP task listed in UWL?

    Dear All,
Can we create an Ad Hoc Work flow from tasks which are generated using Guided procedures? If UWL does not provide this information can we some how implement the concept of Ad Hoc work flow from each step? The advantage is that when a person gets a task in his plate, he can create an Ad Hoc Workflow to take care of the request within their respective department for reviews and sub reviews.
    Thank You,
    Mansoor.

    Hi Mansoor,
In sub task, even itu2019s linked with main task you donu2019t have a link or any UI to interact with main process. For this reason, itu2019s not possible.
There are standard process roles like Overseer or Owner and custom roles, that is who will interact with each action/block. Assuming you have a manager and a team that will interact with a step in your process, you may define the manager as Overseer and the team group as processor of this step. In this case, you donu2019t have a specific forward feature, but you will treat that defining a group as processor and everyone inside this group may complete the task. The manager, as overseer, can track the process without need "hands on" with that.

  • Create Human Task - Can't add a business object parameter

    Greetings,
Working with the appliance virtual SOABPM 11GR1 PS 5.2.0-M. I have modeled a process and now I'm trying to implement an interactive task as a human task. In the BPM Process Navigator, in the properties dialog associated to the interactive task, the create human task dialog, I'm trying to add a parameter being a business object previously defined and which appears in the Business Catalog. When I click the + sign above the Parameters box, in the Data object navigator that opens, I only see the process data objects defined in the process structure but not the business objects defined in the project business catalog. What I'm doing wrong ?
    Many thanks in advance.
    Nicolas

    Nicolas,
Once you have defined a business object in that catalog that only defined the type. You then need to create a process data object of that type for use within your project. Then when you are creating your human task you will be able to drag that process data object as a parameter and the type will be set automatically.
    Thanks,
    Adam DesJardin

  • Can we create application using only bounded task flow ?

I am new to ADF ..
can we create application by using only bounded task flow ...?
one unbounded task flow is necessary for any application ? ....
i searched on net ..but its not became clear
    Thanks

I believe that it requires you to have at least one unbounded task flow as the standard entrance point for the application. However, I don't think there is anything stopping you from having the unbounded task flow only have access to your first bounded task flow. However, one of the purposes of the unbounded task flow is to define the different acceptable entrance points to your application.

  • Can I create a custom SCSM task that runs on the server?

I'm new to SCSM (got roped in as the developer/Powershell guy). I see instructions for adding a custom task to SCSM, which I know generally run from the user's console, under their security context. I also found a reference to "runtime tasks" which
run from the server. Is there a way for me to make a custom task that runs from the server?
If it helps, I'll be creating a task that implements the Poweshell script found
here that converts an incident to a service request. I'd much rather the conversion take place on the server so that we don't need to deploy the SMlets Powershell module (and another dependency) on each user's workstation.
    Thanks!

  • Creating new task in inbox

    Hi,
In EP, under the inbox screen there's a 'Tasks' tab where we can create a new Task by clicking the 'Create Task' button.
My question is: Is there any FM or class/method that I can use to perform the same functionality to create that Task?. Thanks

    Thanks Again Mike.
Yes I agree with you. Payloads can vary in time and per task type. I configured flex fields in BPM Workspace -> Administration tab, then I mapped these flex fields in Human Tasks. When I create a custom view, It's only available to select the my custom payload field (flex field) when I select the Task type. In my case the payload field is an Person Id that is available since the start of first business activity til the end of the process. I think that if I really need to display this person id as a column, independent of task type, because this id I have all the time. I really need to build a custom worklist client as described in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/integration.1111/e10224/bp_worklistcust.htm#BABIHDEF . Maybe this worklist sample (HelpDesk UI Sample) can make my development time smaller compared with total time to develop an entire worklist from scratch.
