    hi mark,
    this is my situation:
i shoot a great number of items everyday.
So i have a db in excel format with the name of item, the shooting date and other informations about the files.
now, with my batch file, i create a list of file in specific folders (to work, worked, deliverde etc)
in this way i can comparate all files and i can update tha state of working in db file
if bridge could create a list, i can make this comparation faster.

  • How do I create a list of files and tags in Album

I would like to create a list of all the files I have in Album. (I am using Photoshop Album Started Edition 3.)
Ideally this list will be formatted like this...
FILE NAME (WITH EXTENSION) - DATE - TAGS
Does anyone who if this can be done and how?
PS - I poked around the Menus and tried a couple of forums searches, but no luck.

Sorry. There is no way to do this [short of being an expert in MS Access and hacking the catalog file].

    hi,
attach document through Service for Object button. Service for Object button available down side of Command screen ( in your PO screen ME22N ) .
Click your Service Object button -> Create -> Create attachment
then select your window directory ( which file you need to attach) select your file Now your system shows message  Service "Create attachment" is started.
Save again your PO. You can see (open) your attachment in same field ( Service for Object ) select and Create and check attachment list. You can attach as many document in your PO.

  • Can a plugin create a new catalog file based on the current (or a specified source) catalog?

A little background: I've been looking for a tool that would allow me to host my photos from my network at home, but let me search my lightroom database (mainly by date, keyword, metadata, or location) on mobile devices (e.g. iPhone or iPad).  There are a lot of services that provide publishing to cloud storage (e.g. Google Drive, icloud, etc.) and have companion apps, but I've found their search capabilities lacking and I'd rather just source the files from home.  In my mind what I need is an even lighter weight SQLite database that contains the catalog information I want (and only that info) that I can sync with an app on my phone/tablet.  I could also have a directory of very small previews that could also be synced.  When I want a file I can select it and various higher resolution versions (up to and including the original file) could be stored in a local cache on the portable device.  I could go on, but I think you get the idea.
In order to do this I need this lighter weight catalog file.  I was going to write a perl or swift (I'm writing this for OS X) script that used SQLite to pull the relevant data out of my catalog and generate the new mini-catalog, but I figured I should give the Lightroom SDK a shot.  I've never developed for Lightroom before and I don't know Lua, but I've got some time to learn.  The first thing I thought I should check out was to see if anyone had built a plugin that did what I'm hoping to do.  If so I could save a lot of time.  I figured this forum would be a good place to check to see if anyone knows of such a plugin.  If so, please let me know.  I'd much appreciate it.  If it's not possible, that would be good to know too.
    Thanks,
    David

I doubt there is a way to create a new catalog via plugin (without some serious stunt - i.e. nothing in SDK supports it), and remember - open/active catalog is locked (sql will fail), so you can only do the script if Lr is closed or has a different catalog open.

  • Can Open Hub create a fixed length file, not CSV?

I've been given a requirement to produce a file that is not a CSV file, but a file of a fixed length where all of the fields are always in the same positions.
For example, a material "batch" number can be of variable length.  They want it to always appear on the file in positions 10-20, even if in some cases it is 10 digits and in other cases it is 4 digits.  There should be spaces to fill in the remaining digits.
Can the Open Hub BADI be used to do this?  It seems like it always wants to compress the data (so to speak) and stick a seperator in there and the BADI is not helping.
    Thanks for your help!

Simplest: Use LJustify() or RJustify() on your lines of data.
    EG:
    <cfset FileLine = RJustify (LineOfText, 128)>

  • Can FrameMaker Automatically create a List of Effective Pages and Track Revision Number?

I see that FrameMaker will provide vertical lines automatically in updated content when set up to track changes. It also will create TOC's and Indexes.
What I need is a way to also work with a List of Effective pages and Page Revision Numbers. I have been researching different programs for maintaining aviation manuals and this is a key area that I need to work out.
Any thoughts on this subject would be appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Getting the Finder to display your list of files

    Hi all,
The program I am contemplating would create a list of files that may be in several different folders. I'd like to present that list of files to the user in a format similar to the Finder's search results, letting the user move, copy or delete the files. Is there a way to tell the finder to display a list of files? I'd rather not re-invent the wheel by making a Finder-like interface since the Finder does what I want. I just need to tell it the set of files I want it to act on. I could make a temporary folder and fill it with aliases, but that seems messy. The Finder search results window is much cleaner and has the nifty expanding folder path graphic at the bottom. I've dug around some for an Applescript means of doing this and for Finder Plug-ins.
If that's possible, is there a way to get the Finder to tell me which file is selected in any particular Finder window?
    Thanks,

  • How can I get a list of files in my collections?

    Hi
I have been given a disc of 800 photos from a photographer, some colour and some black and white. I used lightroom's 'collections' facility to separate the photos into various groups ie: some pictures that had to be printed different sizes, some black and white etc etc.
I now need to somehow 'export' a list of the files in the various collections for her to print.
Does lightroom have a facilty where it can just export a list of files in text/doc format?
    Thank you for your help.

  • How to create and export a sharepoint list connection file to excel connection file library from power pivot?

    Hi All,
I'm new to SharePoint and Power BI.
I've to use  share point 2013 lists to create power view reports. For that, I need to create Power Pivot in Excel 2013.
I'm fine with the above. We normally take a data feed of a list and create connection to that. We need to create a connection file (.odc) and export it into a excel file connection library of Share point. The connection to be made to share point list. The
power pivot will be having multiple related lists.
How can I create a connection file which is referring to share point list
    Please suggest.
    Regards,
    Julie

    Hi All,
Finally, I could find the answer for this question after a long search.
First of all, open a new excel file in server.
    Data-->From other connection-->From data connection wizard-->data feed-->Location of the data feed-->
    http://sharepointsite/sitename/_vti_bin/ListData.svc
-->next-->select the lists which you need-->next-->only create connection-->properties--->export connection file
    -->ok
The connection file has been created and .odc file exported to the specified location.
Open power pivot and check the connection in existing connections.
Exported file has to be uploaded in Excel file connection library of share point 2013. So that you can refer the same in this excel file when you upload it into share point.
    Regards,
    Julie

  • How do I create a series of text frames from a list of files?

    And I'm back again.
This time, I'm wondering how I can use JavaScript to place a series of text frames from a list of files, preferably with the ability to specify criteria before running the script.
Here's the details: I work for a newspaper and I lay out stories for the pages (in addition to the other part of my job, laying out ad spaces, as detailed in a previous thread, for which I requested another script, thanks Andreas and Jongware ). The file names for the stories are labeled for the section they go in, like L- for Life, C- for Comment, S- for Sports, etc.
I'd like to create a script that asks for a criteria in a text box (where I can type L-, C-, S- or whatever else I need) and then places all of the stories, in a specified directory, whose file names match what was typed in the box, one text frame for each.
I can't rightly tell if this is a simpler or more difficult script to write out, but I plan on putting research into it as usual so I can develop it myself. However, I figured it would be more efficient to ask first, then research, so that while I'm researching, I can refer to the opinions of my fellow forumites, and/or the mods.
Thanks again for any assistance offered.

  • Applescript to create an address list text file

I need a script to look through a selected group and get the first and name, and the 'street address' of the address whose label is 'primary'.  I want to save this list as a CSV file, with a comma seperating the name from the street, and a new line/carriage return after each entry.  I've done a little with applescript, but I can't quite figure this one out.  Here's what I've got so far:
    tell application "Address Book"
set _groups to name of every group
choose from list _groups with title "Create Address List" with prompt "Select an Address Book Group"
set theirChoice to result as string
set theContacts to (people in group theirChoice)
              repeat with thePerson in theContacts
      display dialog theirChoice
      --get addresses & names here
              end repeat
    end tell
    Thanks for the help.

After more searching, I found this which will take care of adding the text to the text file.  I just need to figure out how to get the streetAdress from the Address whose label is 'Primary'
    set newText to "Name, streetAdress"
--newText will be the current contact's name/address info, and the next line adds it to the text file
    do shell script "echo " & quoted form of newText & " >> ~/Desktop/PlainText.csv"

  • File can not be created

I'm having a little trouble with safari. I want to download some apps from the internet, so I click on the link to start the download, it starts the download, but then it says a file can't be created. I try another app, it still doesn't work, so that eliminates the fact that it's the app.

Go to your Finder>HD>Users>User account. Right click, or control key click on the User Account (whatever you named it) and select "get info" from the contextual menu. Down the bottom of the panel, look at the Ownership and Permissions. If it says "read only", click on the drop down menu and change to "read and write". Restart Safari and try a download.
If the permissions as listed are correct (read and write) post back.

  • What options can be in a labview created .exe's .ini file?

Every executable created by labview has a .ini file associated with it. What options can I enter into this file?. I was told that entering a section with the name of the executable and HideMainWindow=True would stop 2 entries being made in the system tray. I either didn't understand or it doesn't work. I am wondering where can I find a documented list of entries that can be made in the .ini file?
Thanks in advance. Any help would be appreciated.
    Bob

For the keys to work they need to be in a section that has the same name as the executable. For instance, the program MyApp.exe might have a MyApp.ini file containing something like:
    [MyApp]
    hideRootWindow=true
    Mike...
PS: it also helps of you have the name of the key right...
