CAN bus off fast recovery and slow recovery modes

Hello,
I know that the busoff recovery procedure consists of monitoring the CAN bus until 128 sequences of 11 consecutive recessive bits have been observed.
But I want to know what is fast bus of recovery and slow bus of recovery.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sagar Joshi

Where are you seeing the terms "fast bus off recovery" and "slow bus off recovery". As far as I know, the CAN spec defines just a single bus off recovery.

    Hi _em24,
It sounds like you are having an issue with the upgrade to your iPhone’s version of iOS, a frustrating situation to be sure. Let’s see if we can get you back up and running.
For basic troubleshooting of upgrades, and assuming you are using iTunes to do it, I would suggest using the steps in this article -

  • Should I delete my old iPhoto Library Current folder once everything is transferred to Photos Library Current?    Does this mean that all my new photos on any device can come off my Mac and ONLY be in the Photos Library which is in the cloud?

I have 2 questions about the new Photos app for Mac (I'm running 10.10.3 on my MacBook Air 1.8GHz Intel Core i5 mid 2012)):
1.Should I delete my old iPhoto Library Current folder once everything is transferred to Photos Library Current?
    2. Does this mean that all my new photos on any device can come off my Mac and ONLY be in the Photos Library which is in the cloud?  That would free 59GB off my Mac and that would be very good.

1.Should I delete my old iPhoto Library Current folder once everything is transferred to Photos Library Current?
You can, but I would wait, until you have have been working with Photos for some time and are sure, that everything migrated well. There may be hidden flaws in your library and teething problems with Photos. Don't be in a hurry to abandon iPhoto completely. You may need to go back, until bugs have been fixed.  Th Photos Library does not duplicate the photos in your iPhoto Library. the media files are shared and do not need extra space: See:  Photos saves disk space by sharing images with your iPhoto or Aperture libraries - Apple Support
    2. Does this mean that all my new photos on any device can come off my Mac and ONLY be in the Photos Library which is in the cloud?  That would free 59GB off my Mac and that would be very good.
If you have enough iCloud storage.  But Photos will still need space for local thumbnails on all devices.
See:  Apple - OS X - Photos Preview
Fill your library, not your device.
iCloud Photo Library can help you make the most of the space on your Mac. When you choose “Optimize Mac Storage,” all your full-resolution photos and videos are stored in iCloud in their original formats, with storage-saving versions kept on your Mac as space is needed. You can also optimize storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, so you can access more photos and videos than ever before. You get 5GB of free storage in iCloud — and as your library grows, you have the option to choose a plan for up to 1TB.

  • My iphone fall in the sea and now it's not working how i can take off my photo and numbers ? and do u thing it will be work or what plz help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my iphone fall in the sea and now it's not working how i can take off my photo and numbers ? and do u thing it will be work or what plz help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sea water and electronics don't mix.  The salinity fries the internal circuitry of the phone. Your phone is toast.
Certainly the user of any device which can be lost, stolen, or dropped in the sea would be smart enough to have had the data backed up, rght?  Your photos and numbers should be safely backed up on your computer or in the cloud.
If you didn't do this, there's no way to recover those data now.  Backups are meant to be done BEFORE disaster strikes, not after.

I searched the iPod Touch forum for "iphone in recovery mode" and it appears there are two possible solutions:

  • Can someone explain what recovery mode and dfu mode are?

    title says it all.

The main difference between DFU mode and Recovery mode is the iBoot bootloader. iBoot tells the iPhone/iPod touch/iPad what to do when it turns on, eg. load up iOS version whatever (for me, still 4.2.6 on my Verizon iPhone). When you upgrade your device's firmware, it goes into recovery mode. That way, iBoot can make sure you're flashing into a firmware that's equal to or greater than the current version of firmware you have installed. When you enter DFU mode, there isn't this limitation, so you can flash any version of iPhone OS/iOS that you want, provided the device is compatible with it and Apple is still signing for it.
If this answered your question, tell me. If it didn't, well, tell me and I'll add more!
    Hope I helped!

  • I can't recover from "recovery mode" what do I do?

One day I attempted to turn on my iPad and a black screen should up and the little iTubes symbol pops up with a picture of a cable pointed towards the symbol.
So I attempted to hook it up to my computer to connect to iTunes. I figured this was because I was supposed to update my iPad to the newest version but was procrastinating. So I figured this was why my iPad wasn't working.
I connect my iPad and iTunes won't even recognize that the iPad was connected.
My iTunes also wasn't working because it was 2-3 versions behind. So I went through this whole ordeal, I ended up having to completly delete and reinstall iTunes to get it to work. Finally I got version 11.2.2.3 install up and running.
I connect my iPad 2 again and an error pops up saying:
"iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes."
ok. So that's the problem, my iPad 2 is in "Recovery Mode"
So I go ahead and click the Restore button and it starts to download "iPad Software Update" which is a 1.06GB download.
It downloads and gets to varying download percentages. The farthest it's gotten is 65.7MB out of 1.06GB. And it downloads super super slow. Starts off at an Est Download Time of 1 hour all the way up to 10 hours. I have a fast computer and good connection, I don't know the exact time of a regular large download, but I know that I've downloaded movies well over 2GB in an hour or less.
Intermittantly the download will pause and it will give me the same error message as before: "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes."
All I have to do is hit OK and resume download. But eventually, another error will pop up which will end the download:
"There was a problem downloading the software for the iPad "iPad". An unknown error occurred (9006)
Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later."
And that will be it. If I try to resume the download after that last error message, the download will start from the beginning.
So as of right now, I have a $800 paper weight. And Apple wants me to pay them just to talk to someone.
How the heck do I get my iPad 2 out of recovery mode!!!!
Here is some info on my iPad if it helps.
    iPad 2   64GB  WiFi 3G
    Model A1397       EMC 2424

1.Turn off your device. If you can't turn it off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time and wait a few seconds for it to turn off.
2.Plug the device's USB cable into your computer only.
3.Hold down the device's Home button as you connect the USB cable to it.
4.When you see the Connect to iTunes screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 one more time.
5.Use iTunes to restore your device.
    Additional Information:
If you started your device in recovery mode by mistake, restart it to exit recovery mode. Or you can just wait—after 15 minutes the device will exit recovery mode by itself. If you want a faster way to solve iPad Stuck in Recovery Mode, try iPad data recovery software.

I one of these programs will not kick the iPod out of recovery mode you will have to restore the iPod.

    If necessary:
    Download QTMLClient.dll & iTunesMobileDevice.dll for RecBoot
    and

RecBoot may have problems on 64X windows, then try:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

  • Why can't I access recovery mode?

My iMac (2010, i3, 10.8.2) began running sluggishly last night. My sone turned it off and now I can't even boot into recovery mode. I have the Apple logo and the loading circle showing. Earlier attempts to access internet recovery and recovery resulted in a frozen screen. I'm beginning to think the hard drive is shot, even though I hear it spinning.

You didn't state how your attempting to boot into Recovery mode, if you haven't tried the following then please do:
When you hear the start up tone, hold down the OPTION key until you can choose the Recovery Partition. If your system can't see it then there is a fair chance  you have a damaged HD. Do you happen to also run MS Windows on your machine in Boot Camp, if so then you may have another issue and will need to post in the Boot Camp forum.

  • How to get Iphone off of recovery mode

    Hi everyone!
I'm in need of some help. My iphone 5s battery recetlenty died and I only charged it the next day. When I plugged it in, it showed the usual battery that is empty and red. I did'nt realize a problem until the screen turned white with que black apple on it. After that showed up, the screen just became black and I was unable to use my phone. I let it on the charger for a few hours and nothing changed. I then decided to plug it into my laptop. Once it appeared in itunes, something popped up saying that my iphone was on recovery mode. I'm not sure how to take it out of this mode, or even if it is possible. It told me to restore my iphone. Its has been doing an update for the past 2hrs. Can anyone please tell me what is happening and if it doesn't work is this problem covered on Apple Care? I've had this phone for a month and I'm not ready to pay another $700 to get a new one.
Thank you anyone who is willing to give me a hand.

Also, on itunes, it just told me I needed to do a software update which I just did 3hrs ago.

  • Can you backup in recovery mode?

Since I'm a moron I forgot my passcode for my ipod.
I figured I'd just back it up and restore it, since I don't wanna lose all my stuff. But now my ipod is in recovery mode and it says my only option would be to restore it, but I don't have my ipod backed up and I'd lose everything - pictures, notes, apps - omg.
    omg omg.
    What should I do now?

Yes, you loose everything.  Sorry, but there is no way to make a backup now - you really should have been backing up regularly all along, in case something (like this) happened.
All you can do now is restore as new and start over again.
Anything you have purchased from iTunes (apps, music) can be re-downloaded after it is restored.

  • How can the Ipad leave recovery mode when something happened.

When the Ipad went to recovery mode and started the recovery and update process to IOS 5.1.1, an error is happened, the code is 21. The Ipad stayed in recovery mode. How can I leave it.

According to the iTunes specific error codes help site ....
    Error 20, 21, 23, 26, 28, 29, 34, 37
These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. FollowTroubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.

  • How do i get my iPhone off of recovery mode so i won't have to restore it

It is saying i have to restore my phone but i don't want to lose all my memory what do i do

If the device is already in Recovery Mode, the contents are lost and irretrievable. Hopefully you have a reasonably recent backup either in the iCloud or in the computer where you have iTunes installed.

  • Apple must allow only owner can turn off iPhone by his password. Otherwise the thief can turn off the phone and run away, owner can not trace him.

I lost my iPhone 5 months ago. The thief just turned off my iPhoen and ran way. Even I set password for my iPhone but he can turn it off and of course I can not trace my iPhone by using FIND MY iPHONE. Apple should consider this situation. Thanks

    Tell Apple.
