Can call Skype Contacts but Call to Mobile Fails

Hi,
Echo Call Test = Working Fine
Calls to Skype Contacts = Working Fine
Call to Friends Mobile (who are added in my contacts list) = Call Failed
i've tried everything , downloaded latest skype 7.0+ version (my skype credit is $10), renamed %appdata% location skype to skype_old, re-login, i've tried almost everything, i don't know why "Call Failed" the worst part is no message as to why it fails, weird !
please assist

Do you receive any error messages when you attempt to place outbound calls to fixed line and mobile numbers?
Please contact Skype customer service to ensure your subscription has been provisioned correctly.

Purchased Hong Kong Skype number but Caller ID not...

I just purchased a Hong Kong Skype number. I live in Hong Kong. I enabled Skype number as my Caller ID number via the website. Everything is all set. But when I dial another Hong Kong number, whether it is a fixed line or mobile number, the other side cannot see my Skype number, but instead only see UNKNOWN or Out of Area. Can you please help resolve this issue? From your support page, Hong Kong Skype number definitely supports Caller ID!

I recommend you contact Skype Customer Service to report that Caller ID is not behaving as expected. Please provide the details that you have here in your post. Here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service
You will need to proceed through each step, one at a time. Sign on to the Skype website as requested. Choose the subject and topic which most closely matches the item you need assistance with. Then, continue past Step 2 of the instruction where several articles from the FAQ library will appear for you to review, and proceed to Step 3, Continue Support Request (the blue "button" appears at the lower right corner of the website page). You may also skip through Step 4 where you will be referred back here to the Community; no need to do this as the Community is where you started. is it possible to call a skype contact using a skype to go number? if yes, what is the procedure to add a skype contact for a skype to go number?

Can't see contacts on PC without mobile Xperia

Good morning,
I want to see the contacts list backup on my laptop, but I can't not find out. I tried using PC Companion, but although I can see multimedia files about my backup, I can't not see my contacts. I always check the contacts backup choice when I do my backup. Can anybody tell me how can I see my contacts list backup, for example, on a text file or something approach.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
Unfortunately it's not possible to see the contacts backed up in PC Companion. The backup is encrypted.
You can export your contact list to a .vcf file and use a program like Gmail contacts to import the .vcf to view your contacts.
To export the contacts open the contact app on your phone > menu button > export > internal storage or SD card.
Connect your phone to a PC and open the folder 'System' > 'PIM' to find the .vcf file.

Strang contact on my phone...can't be deleted. I can delete other contacts, but not this one.

There's a strang contact in my phone from China. No phone number, but a bunch of info like an address, even his link to facebook. I can't delete this contact, but I can delete any other contact in my phone. Is this some kind of virus? how can i delete this?

There are no known viruses for an unjailbroken iOS device.
Did you recently install an app that could be using this contact for some reason?
The next few troubleshooting steps, although 3 is unlikely to solve anything but it can't hurt...
3. Remove all apps from Recently Used list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red to delete all apps from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.
4. If still a problem restore with your backup.

Hi, I keep receiving e-mails saying my skype account it's going to inactive, fist one, 90 days, 30 days, 7 days, today I receive one saying 3 days. The thing is, in the mail I have credit, and if I log in to skype website I have the same credit, but on my mobile phone I don't have any skype credit, how this is possible?

IPhone4 gets calls from contacts but when attending, the call is reversed.

My iPhone 4 with iOS6 occasionally gets a call from my contacts and when I attend the call, I hear the phone ringing and that contact gets a call from me. This is weird because, I used two sims in the same device and the problem still exists. I also tried formatting the phone and reinstalling iOS. I asked the service provider (Vodafone IN) customer care, but they are not sure what the problem is.

I read two functional requirements here:
When there are no agents available in CSQ1, simultaniously queue the call into CSQ2.
Allow internal employees to transfer calls to CSQ2 specifically.
For the first requirement you can just nest a second Select Resource step within the Queued condiiton of the first Select Resource step.
For the second just create a second trigger on the same application, use a Get Trigger Info step to understand which trigger was used. Use that with an If step and a Goto step to skip forward in the script to the nested Select Resource step of CSQ2 if the internal-only trigger was used.

My microphoone works for calls skype ect. but not on video's? I have a Iphone 4 and ios7.

My ios 7.0.2 Iphone 4's microphone has stopped working on video's but works for everything else calls, facetime ect. I have tried using a pin in the secondary mic but still nothing? I have also tried going through settings but can't find anything was working about 2 months ago but must of happened in between because i only used it yesterday and found out... so please help I don't want to have to go to apple only to be told they can't fix it and I should by there new lastest product!

You have to call your carrier and tell them about it since these are the features control by your carrier.
Did you try a reset?
Press Home and Sleep button together about 10 secs or more till you see the Apple logo.

Can only edit contact through Call Log

It seems I used to be able to touch Contacts, then touch a specific contact, then press the Menu to view/edit a contact - I can't get that to work any more. It just gives an error buzz when I press Menu. The only way I've found to view/edit is to go in through the Call Log. Anybody got a suggestion?

Web service call - works locally but not on mobile?

Hi,
I have a web service call (the service is hosted on the cloud so it's an external, permamnent domain) which works fine when I'm testing it locally using the Flex Buritto built in emulator or directly using my browser.
But when trying from an android phone (tried a few of them - nexus one, nexus s and galaxy tab) the service is being called but never returns anything.
Is there a good way to trace to call / understand the problem?

Oh. well that would explain alot of it. its not a stupid question we are all learning. You have to put a crossdomain xml in server on the root directory. there are alot of different ways to implement it.

If the US call rate is 2.3 cents per minute. Does that rate apply when you are in a different country calling the US using a US. Skype number?

Wife can see my contacts, but we have separate Apple ID's??

When I look thru my wifes contacts I only see her contacts. When she goes to type a text message and enters the first few letters of the recipients name all of my contacts are suggested as well as hers. This just started happening. Any suggestions? We share an email/ID for iTunes but have always been setup on separate clouds. IOS 8 on Iphone 6's. Thanks!

Skype call not working but messaging is

I'm having problems connecting with my friend who has recently installed skype. We can instant message fine but can't call - skype trys to call but quickly stops. Both our pcs are fast enough. When i check 'connection' to my friend I get a message that says 'unable to measure speed of connection'. when he checks connection to me it says 'this person appears to be offline'. I use skype every other day so i know my end is ok. Help!
