Can com.ximeta.NDASService be permanently removed?

I've read a post that suggests removing the process (com.ximeta.NDASService) from withing the terminal, however, this only stops the process while the computer is running. Once I reboot, the process starts again and the console prints "8:30:12.022 AM NDASService[56]: LPX is not running" every second.
I no longer use the NDAS external hard drive for backup on the MBP.
If anyone knows how to permanently stop this process, I'd appreciate it.

Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
Here are some general guidelines. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickYourMac.” First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickyourmac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, email the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickYourMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickYourMac.” If not, open “BrickYourMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase your boot volume and perform a clean reinstallation of OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" that purport to remove software.

You cannot remove any of the preinstalled apps. From what I see - you cannot restrict it either with restrictions.
Perhaps you should try to contact Apple directly for a solution.
I have read about people that bought iPads that were missing certain settings - iPads that were Purchased as demo models from retailers and their iPads did not have certain standard settings. There must be a way that you can disable those types of things from iPads being used in schools, otherwise, you could have chaos on your hands with apps like Message.
Perhaps you can look for an "iPads in the classroom" forums and see if you can get some direction from one of those.

Another option is to create a smart mailbox that includes emails with date received before a desired date.
Then, select one message in the Smart Mailbox and cmd-A to select all. Then delete.

Have you tried the solution as MVP Cyber_Defend_Team mentioned?
Do this program preinstalled? If yes, we need to contact the manufacturer to receive better support.
If my understanding is right, you uninstalled it once, but the program was back and only the option to ‘change’.
Could you please provide us a screenshot to avoid misunderstanding if you willing to?
Can you run the program? If the program runs in the startup, we could use the tool System Configuration (msconfig) to disable apps or services that normally run at startup.

Congratulations on your new laptop! Also, thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with transferring your iTunes Library to your new computer.
I notice that you are coming from the article “iTunes: How to move your music to a new computer,” and it sounds like you might have used the Home Sharing method outlined in that article.
With Home Sharing, you can stream content from another computer, and it sounds like that is how you have it currently set up. The last step is to import the content to your new computer. Use these steps on the new computer (while the old computer is on) to import the music to your new computer’s hard drive:
Once your new computer sees the Home Share from your old computer, click that Home Share on the left side of iTunes on your new computer.
Select the content in the Home Share that you want to transfer to your iTunes library on your new computer, or choose Edit > Select All to choose all of it. Then, click the Import button in the bottom-right corner of iTunes.
Wait for the content to finish transferring.
Additionally, if you want to transfer your playlists, you can export them from the old computer to the new computer:
Transferring playlists
If you want not only your content but also your playlists to exist on your new computer, you will want to transfer a copy of all your playlists from your old computer. To do this, choose File > Library > Export Library on your old computer. Save the XML file that is created to your desktop.
Send the playlists file to yourself as an e-mail attachment, use an external drive, or use file sharing to move the playlists file to your new computer. Once the file is on your new computer, open iTunes and choose File > Library > Import Playlist. The import process will remove any items from the playlists that you didn't share via Home Sharing.

App store - permanently remove apps

Hi, I'm BJ from Wellington, NZ. I was just wondering if there is a way to permanently remove app entries from the app store - via view account. The only help entries I have seen talk about removing an app from a specific computer or device. This is good to a point but it can still be seen via iCloud or the App Store. I want a feature where I can change my mind and decide I do not want to ever see an app again on any device.
Surely I am not the only one who wants this! I want a way that I can remove it permanently so I never, and I mean never see it again. If anybody has any tips or pointers, look forward to hearing these.

I'm not ssure what the issue is, if you delete an app from your devices and hide it in the Purchases, the only way that you should see it is if you went looking for it.

I think Skype should be added the "leave conversation permanently" option.It will make all users have more options. In case, the user is added in a conversation group by someone (his/her friend) but it is not his/her expectation. He/she want to leave permanently that conversation and no one can be added his/her in that conversation.

In order to permanently remove these image files from your computer, you need to delete the references to these files in the main.db -> MediaDocuments table.

When you have deleted them, does it come up with 'Do you still want this APP to be in Notification / Game Centre', if so you should have clicked no.
If it didnt, install it again, then un-intall it again REMOVING everything.

Hi, I still have problems reinstalling Final Cut Pro even though I followed these steps.
Reason why I have to reinstall is because I have repaired my Macbook Pro hard drive at a Mac Authorized Repair.
Short history of repair and my Final Cut Pro installation:
1. Macbook Pro stopped working, sendt it for repair. Had the Final Cut Pro installed,
2. Desided to try a MiniMac and recovered my backup with Time Machine, got the Final Cut Pro working.
3. Got my Macbook Pro back from repair, did backup on this one as well. But this time only the files not the Applications.
4. Removed the files as mentioned in HT5149. Didn´t find "com.apple.motionapp.plist" to remove though, but the others I found.
5. When I try to install Final Cut Pro from App Store, it downloads the application as planned. But after download it won´t show in the Application folder nor in the downloads folder, nor will it start an installation prosess. If I pause the installation in App Store, I can see the Final Cut Pro icon in my Dock. (But, as mentioned, after installation it won´t show neither here or in the Applications folder).
Any suggestions on what I should try now?

Sounds like there is a file you're not getting. Never do a removal manually. It's so time consuming and a pain. There's a very easy and fast way to do this, safely, properly.
Get the free "Final Cut Remover" app from Digital Rebellion (dot com), use this to remove FCP X.
Reboot the Mac.
Download from scratch.
If you're not seeing FCP X in your app folder, run Disk Utility to Repair all drives.
If that doesn't help, try running Disk Warrior from Altsoft to repair the directories on all drives.

I am running Firefox 15.0.1 on Mac OS 10.6.8. A window continues to pop up that reads, "Authentication Required" and "Enter username and password for ftp://ftp.radiogarage.com". It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

iTunes Store purchases or songs imported from CDs are saved in your My Music folder by default and are not deleted by removing iTunes. While it is highly unlikely that you will lose any contents of your iTunes Library when following these steps, it is always a good idea to ensure that your iTunes library is backed up.
